    Anthony's Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning
    Anthony is a "measure twice, cut once" kind-of-guy and takes pride in what he does. This was very important to us, as our home has a wood interior and there is no second chance or cover ups. Everything he did seemed to be well thought out and not rushed. He had to make numerous cuts for the duct into the wood interior and we were worried about it, but it looks great! He understood that cosmetics were just as important as the function. Our feedback and happiness with the work was important to him. We did have one hiccup with the heat and he came out and resolved this issue promptly. Anthony took the time to explain the process prior to us signing the contract. After the install, he explained how everything worked and showed us everything they had done. They ran the system thanks to the unseasonably warm weather. We will continue to use him to service our HVAC system and highly recommend him. We felt that Anthony did a great job with installation and look forward to using the AC this summer!

    The install process seemed to go very smoothly.  It took them a few days and the system was in.  There was a day training included that a technician walked me through the system and the thermostat.  I was very excited in my new home.  The whole winter went by smoothly, the heat pump did its job, and on colder days we fired up the wood stove to help it out.  Then spring/summer came around and it started getting warmer.  We attempted to turn on the air-conditioner to find that it did not function.  This was upsetting as it took a few days to get a technician out.  Once he came out, he didn't find any problems and had to schedule a follow up.  On the follow up the technician found a part "came lose" on the unit in the attic and he had to zip tie it down.  This concerned me that a single part could cause such an issue.  Later we got a call that a part was not working properly on my new unit and they had to maintenance on it again.  They came out and added oil to a motor piece that wasn't functioning properly in a lot of the new Trane units.  Obviously, again, another concern point that my new $16k HVAC had two calls upon it.  Since then though it has been functioning without a hitch, keeping my house nice and cool even on these extremely hot days.  The technicians were always nice and polite, very informative, and thorough.
    Now comes the sales process.  This is where I feel Haller can really improve.  I was sold into this new high efficiency heat pump system and re-doing duct work throughout the house.  It sounded great and it has been working after we got through some hiccups.  The salesman then said I'd get all these rebates because it is a high efficiency model, up to $600 in rebates.  I was very tickled to hear that as I'm doing a lot of other home improvement items and $600 can really help out.  Here I am writing a review almost a year later and I still have yet to get the rebates figured out even after contacting the salesman numerous times, his manager, and the office.  It is very disappointing that they will be on top of your call when you are looking to buy something, but then when the sale is done, it feels like they don't care anymore.  I was hoping a local company would be different, but I have been proven wrong.

    As a result of an October furnace inspection I was advised my existing furnace was leaking carbon monoxide.  This created an urgent situation as cold weather was fast approaching.  I was a long term customer of this HVAC contractor so I requested a quote and also requested a quote from two other sources.  FF Kling was the highest quote by 10% but due to my long history with them I gave them the nod. 

    Let me start the comments by saying the end result was pretty close to what I was expecting but the process of getting there was a little painful.  It seems this organization has different people with different skill sets.  The HVAC installation crew was painfully slow and the workmanship caused me to make several comments to the supervisor not onsite.  The hot water heater guy was fast, knowledgeable and I had absolutely no complaints about his efforts.

    Ultimately the problem areas were corrected and I am happy with the end result.  My one caution would be to keep an eye on their HVAC work as these guys didn't seem as knowledgeable.

    They are courteous on the phone. Their prices are fair. The techs are clean, show up on time, they kept my house clean, and they respected my home. The work was done quickly. The thing that impressed me most was the fact that they really care about the work they do and they really wanted me to be happy with the work. They didn't just do the work and disappear. They weren't satisfied until I was. I can't say enough good things about them. As a business owner myself, I am very particular about how things get done and how I am treated. They exceeded my expectations and I will definitely call them first when I need more work done. You can't go wrong by hiring Dutch Heating.

    He was quick to respond, and reasonable to work with. He even discounted his diagnostic fee since the issue was fairly straightforward (bad temp/pressure gauge).
    Since I indicated I was comfortable swapping in a new gauge myself, he put in an order for the needed part (another $20 or so over the service cost) so I could pick it up and install it myself and save the cost of having him come out again to install it.
    He also explained a few details of the workings of the system to me while he was checking it out, since I indicated interest.
    I'll definitely be calling Jeff again if future needs arise.

    Fred showed up on time and was courteous.  He got straight to work.  I reminded him that I had bought one of his deals for $59 to service the A/C unit.  I told him that I also wanted the furnace serviced for the season, but that I hadn't bought the online deal.  He still provided me with the $59 deal on this separate service.  It only took him about 45 minutes to service both units, which checked out fine.  This is the second season that we've used Fred and will most likely use him in the future.

    I chose this provider because he had a great deal for AC and heat system tune-up/check-up.  He was very quick compared to other HVAC technicians we've had, which makes me think that he may not have been as thorough or had completed as many checks as our previous technicians, but the AC and heat system are working just fine.  Also, his truck broke down the day we were supposed to have the service completed, but he called early enough that I could cancel my leave and work that day.  Overall, I was satisfied.

    RESSLER PROPANE
    Delivery driver filled underground propane tank to 90%+, even though other companies recommend not filling over 85%.  The propane expanded, which forced 2 vent plugs out of the regulators and released propane into the atmosphere.  Called the emergency service phone number that evening, and received no response for over 2 hours.  Upon responding, the technician on call communicated that Ressler would return and conduct a leak test during regular business hours.  The next day, I received a call from the manager who denied any wrongdoing and was extremely rude.  He said he would speak to the owner of the company when he returned from vacation the following week, and would place a follow-up phone call.  A week has passed and I am still waiting for that phone call.

    Kling was able to quickly identify the problem and make the necessary adjustments to correct the problem. Kling servicemen are always well trained and have always been able to find the cause of a problem and have the experience necessary to correct the problem. I've never had to call them back for the same problem.
