    Independent Movers
Bob and I agreed to a $95/hour rate for 3 men and a truck. He moved us on a Sunday as he had another job in which he already had a truck so it would be no additional costs for a Sunday move.
The day of the actual move, I was in Florida so my wife had to oversee things. The guys moved everything fine. The total time was roughly 3 hours (no more). When it came time to pay, Bob was not available and his men told my wife that the move was going to cost $375 because of the move being on a Sunday. She told them that this was not the agreement at which point they said they'd settle for $350 - still, $50 more than what I agreed to with Bob.
I spoke to Bob a couple times and he said that he did not want any ill will so he would (reluctantly) give us $50 back. I waited a couple weeks so I called him several times to see what the problem was. When I finally got him, he said that we was busy and that he would give me the money back. It's been a couple weeks and I still have not seen this money and it this point have given up hope.
I would strongly NOT recommend this guy to anyone.
Their business card has no address and just lists the owners names.
Just an update since I wrote the above paragraph. I recently received the money less $25 for harassment charges. I have never seen anything so ridiculous. This guy simply did not return calls and calls it harassment when someone follows up with him. I was never rude and simply wanted to know when he was going to honor his promise to return my money.

The estimate process was more professional than the other moving company i soliciited a bid from. Everything was explained up front, and documents were provided describing various move options, and general checklists. The estimate was received the same day, and in the end was $400 over the actual move cost. I'd much rather be 10% over than have to come up with an additional 10% of the move cost after the move.
Their flexibility on scheduling a move date was a nice feature. In my case, they were able to do the entire move in one day versus others that wanted two days,.
On move day they showed up close to the estimated arrival time. They brought 3 large box trucks and 9 guys to do the job. They loaded the contents of my 2800 sq ft house, though not all was going, in about 3 hours. They were careful and asked questions when in doubt. Once we arrived at my new location (about a 1.5 hour drive) they quickly unloaded the trucks. It took them just about 2 hours to unload everything. 99% of the boxes (I would never expect 100% given the number of boxes) were put in their proper location. Absolutely nothing was broken.
I purchased the full replacement insurance, which wasn't needed fortunately. I'd suggest that the full replacement value be purchased because if something should happen during the move the default insurance will give you nothing more than pocket change.
    Overall a painless process.
