    h2oTEKS Ltd.
This is the second time I've worked with h2o Teks, and I am again very well pleased with their service. Scheduling was really easy, and the technician did a great job. He was also both pleasant and professional - very much appreciated.

    Kosta Painting & Refinishing LLC
The crew was awesome. From the bidding process with Kosta in the beginning through the end it was great. They were up front with cost, time to complete the job and accommodated any changes or concerns we had during the project. The house turned out great and I would highly recommend Kosta painting to anyone.

Dennis Grubor Painting & Deck Restoring
Dennis has cleaned our deck for many years. The deck is 26 years old and we have it cleaned every two years. He does a thorough job of pressure washing the deck flooring, the uprights and the railings and removing the mildew that forms due to the many large oak trees we have in our back yard. He then applies the stain and waterproofing, being very careful not to get any stain or products on our vinyl siding.
He spent most of the day working on our deck, which is multi-level. When he was finished, the deck looked like it had just been built. My husband remarked that the finish reminded him of a fine furniture finish.
We hope to have a continued working relationship with Dennis as long as he is in business and we highly recommend him and his work to anyone.

    Kosta Painting & Refinishing LLC
Contacted Kosta to give an estimate on staining cedar siding and trim.  Came out, reviewed the job, explained the process they'd use and quoted a very reasonable price.  He told us they'd tape off the windows (vinyl clad wood), trim, gutters, etc., spray the cedar siding with cedar solid stain - 2 coats, then hand paint the wood trim (fascia, doors, basement windows).  We expressed concern about only spraying the cedar siding as when we previously stained the house ourselves, we brushed the entire house, working the stain into the 'grooves'.  He assured us that we'd be happy with the result, and would hand brush where necessary.  We also requested he re-caulk the windows.  He told us the caulking looked to be in good shape, but he'd re-caulk where necessary.  Gave him the go ahead to do the job.
Received the 'contract' in the mail a few days later.  It appeared to be what we talked about, but it was handwritten and almost impossible to read.  This proved to be a problem as the job went on.

A few weeks later they began the job.  First they power washed, waited a few days then came back to begin the taping and staining process.  Started off on the wrong foot as the crew wanted to know if they were painting the soffit, fascia and gutters.  We told them they were only to paint the wood fascia as the gutters & soffit are painted aluminum.  They told us painting the fascia would be extra - until we were able to find where is was included on the contract.

First day they did the front.  When i came home from work, I couldn't tell if it was stained.  Some of the more weathered boards appeared to not have been stained as 'dark' lines were showing through.  Discussed this with Kosta and he said that they put the 2 coats on as promised and if he put any more on it would peel. 2nd day they did the right side.  Once again, couldn't tell if it was stained or any difference between the side and back, which was not stained.  3rd day, they did the back and left side of the house. While on the rear deck, I noticed the sides of the brown vinyl window was sprayed with cedar stain.  Expressed my displeasure to the crew and was told they always paint the sides of the windows - to seal in the caulking.  Kosta called me that night and once again told me that that's how they do it, and if I wanted something different, I should have told him. I said that when they said they'd tape the windows, I made the logical assumption that they'd tape the entire window, not just the front.  He responded that his crew went over the job each day with my wife and there was no problem.  Told him my wife couldn't see the window problem from the ground and I only noticed it when looking at them from the deck.

Seems he feels it's our responsibility to manage job quality.

Brian, the trim crew leader, showed up a few days after to discuss the trim. Went over the doors, windows and fascia with him.  There was a damaged trim board around one of the doors, which Brian fixed at no extra charge.  As we were looking over the front windows, none of them were caulked as promised.  Brian told us he'd take care of that.  That blows the excuse of staining the window sides to seal in the caulking as none of them had caulk.   Also found out that the front door was missed on the quote, even though we thought is was covered during the estimate.  Couldn't tell if it was on the proposal due to the terrible handwriting - so we decided to exclude it.  Based on the quality of work we had seen to date, we didn't want to take the chance they'd do it right.  Brain's crew showed up the next day and did a good job.  We paid them upon completion.

A week or so later, Kosta called my wife to make sure she was satisfied with the job.  She reiterated the issues we had brought up and Kosta began raising his voice, blaming us for not bring up the issues as they happened and insisting that everything was ok.  He also said that I was happy with the job, which my wife said was not true.  He wanted to call me on my cell, but my wife told him that i was at work and he shouldn't bother me until later.  He ignored her request and called anyway.  When I answered his third call at work, he reiterated his claim that we didn't tell his crew on day one about the window sides and if he put any more stain on the wood it would peel.  I told him my issue was not how much stain they applied, but how it looked.  The issues we have can not be fixed.  Windows look awful and the siding doesn't look much better than it did before it was stained.  Kosta offered to come back next year to 'touch' up the siding at a 'reasonable' cost.  Told him I will do it myself, as I should have done with the entire job.

Dennis Grubor Painting & Deck Restoring
It was a wonderful experience - he was prompt with initial contact; reliable and professional.  He was also honest, noting that our gutter guards did not need replacing once he got up there (even after providing us with an estimate for this).  He took his time, and it shows.  Our house looks awesome and I would highly recommend.

    Complete Home Services
He did an excellent job.  He was prompt in scheduling the service and worked efficiently.  We did recommend him to our neighbor.  The scheduling of the service was done through a central office in Ohio and they were not sure if they covered this area. However, the man who did our windows is in Butler, PA so he easily covers the Cranberry Township area.

Mario's Painting & Home Maintenance, LLC

Mario Jenkins was the ultimate professional from beginning to end.  Shortly after our initial telephone conversation, he met with me to do a thorough walk-through to determine what I wanted done.  I was so impressed with both his knowledge and honesty that I asked for his opinion on what he thought needed to be done.  Within a few days, he emailed the estimate to me; I approved it and his crew began work two days later!

They arrived promptly, began to work immediately, and put in three full days of patching, sanding, painting, and more painting.  Along the way, they checked with me to make sure that I liked their work and the way the colors on the ceilings, walls, and trim looked.  They were pleasant, courteous, and hard-workers; their work was neatly done and they cleaned-up at the end of each day.

Even after the job was complete, Mario stopped by himself to check the finished product, making sure that everything was done well and that I was pleased with the final product.  It doesn't get any better than that!

    ImageWorks Painting Inc
You better set your clock because these guys get there not just on time, but they come early! Brian power washed the entire house, and did a great job getting all dirt and grime off the house and deck. He was friendly and explained everything. He was earlier than expected, and that is good! Then Kevin, Chris and Clair came to do the painting. Again, they were very early and worked methodically and for a long while. They were precise and explained everything they did each day. It rained the next day they were expected to come, but they called. Christine and/or Jennifer called as well to reschedule. They arrived on the assigned day even earlier than the previous time. All work was completed. They left the remaining paint and stain, and Kevin explained the type of paint and stain if we needed to buy/match it in the future.Christine and Jennifer in the office called often to remind, reschedule and answer any questions we had about the job. The whole team/company was professional and friendly. We were very pleased with their work.
