Door Installation reviews in Cranberry Twp

    Robert C. Welsch
Mr. Welsch was prompt in providing an estimate for our shower door and enclosure. He explained all of the options and discussed what would best fit our needs rather than promote extras that we did not need. His bid was very reasonable and we chose him to do the work. Within a few weeks he came and did a great job of installing the glass enclosure and door for our shower. The installation looks great and included notching our quarts seat in the shower. We would definitely use Mr. Welsch for any additional work of this type. We were especially appreciative of the timeliness of his response to our request for a quote and completion of the work.

    Richard Felser Co
My experience with Richard Felser Co. was very positive. I worked with Scott to identify a solution to our design problem and he recommended and priced out both a patio door and replacement windows for our house. Pricing was an improvement over another national company who also looked at the job. Material arrived in the timeframe promised, his office reached me to schedule the install, and the crew showed up at the time/date promised. This was not an easy job, as we were putting some windows in place of an old sliding door, but the crew was quick and careful and did a nice job working to make the finished product look like it was original to the house. After work was complete, they fully cleaned up their work site and left my house in great shape. Would recommend them highly for window/door replacements.

I will start by saying that I am big researcher. Cost in this particular project was my number one factor in making a determination. I reached out to several companies for quotes. Frank, the sales and project coordinator came out to perform initial measurements, review options, and supply a quote. He is really, really good at what he does. He is one of the best customer facing "sales people" I have ever worked with. After meeting with Frank and review the quotes, Lowe's was tied with another company in total cost. We went with Lowe's due to the name and longstanding company. At this point, this got a little annoying. Once Frank placed the order and handed everything off to the production office was when we really saw why there are so many negative reviews regarding Lowe's professional services. A gentlemen called me letting me know he'd be taking over the project to get everything installed and a date in which the materials should be in. After a month of not hearing anything, I began calling him back. This was not a rush project, but I am very date oriented. He NEVER called me back. Not once. I reached back out to Frank several times and he responded immediately and tried to help me out. The next call I got was from the actual installer, Greg. We set a time and he came to do the installation with his partner. They were also awesome! My wife was home to be the contact person and she raved about how nice and professional they were as well as the quality of work done. I agree, it was excellent work. I left out a whole saga about the delivery people trying to drop off all of the materials without even knowing when the installation was going to be. It's just more of the same. Terrible internal communication. The left doesn't know what the right is doing. Long story short, the sales process was great, the quote was tied for the best and the work was done very well. If you can handle a very long lead time, frustrating middle men, and overall poor communication, I would recommend because of the price and install.

My garage door locked in the up position when a spring broke. Jim drove to my house at 8:30 PM to help me get the door down and lock it for security. He returned the next day when I got home from work to complete the job which included new rollers and a new spring system. He also took the time to show me how to perform maintenance on the door to keep it working properly.

    Pittsburgh Window & Door Co
It was one of the easiest home improvement projects we've had to date.  From the initial estimate to the job completion, they were punctual, polite, & attentive to detail.  The job was done in one day, & they left no mess to clean up.  They were very careful & didn't put one scratch in our wood floors!  The doors look beautiful & we are very happy with the results.

    Kevin "Honey-Do" Margo
Initially contacted Kevin to replace rotted wood below front doors, to reinstall window screens that we were having trouble getting back in & to fix a closet door that had come off.
Upon removable of rotted wood, he showed me how water had seeped up into door frame, plus only way to replace wood correctly under door jam was to remove frame/doors.  Decided to purchase new frame, (which meant buying new doors as not sold separately).   Kevin put new wood around what he had pulled off until new frames/doors arrived so it looked better and kept my puppy from digging at it.  Kevin was able to come back within a few days of me calling to tell him the new frame/doors were in.
Appreaciated that Kevin called the night before to confirm he was coming.  He arrived on time, was very meticulous in his work and cleaned everything up well.  We are still waiting on some trim pieces that he ordered that were not yet in.  He is to come back to install them as soon as he receives them.
I'm very happy with the work Kevin and his 2 helpers did and with the new doors.  Very happy that the rotted wood was replaced with a material that will not be effected by the weather.  This was the 3rd time replacing it and I feel that this time it was done correctly.  Caulking job was very neat and clean as well.
I would highly recommend Kevin and will call him again in the future when needed.

Very pleased with price and service. Made it out the day after we called.  Showed up on time, fixed the probelms without trying to sell me anything more than needed. Would definitely use again.

From the initial estimate, through the install of the doors, openers, and new fascia the job went smoothly.  Everyone was experienced and professional.  The new doors look great and work perfectly!

    Windows R Us North
Overall, the process of working with them was outstanding, from start to finish. The owner came out to do the initial measurements and discussed details of what we were looking to have done. He was very nice. He showed us different options and talked about the pros/cons of each. They set up a date for installation, and his crew came out to do the work. My 10 month old was really sick while the project was taking place. They were very considerate and worked around us in a manner that wasn't disruptive at all. Overall, everything looks great. The only negative is that it is too COLD out to use our storm door to let the fresh air in. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks for the excellent work.

    Pittsburgh Window & Door Co
I thought the windows would have to be replaced, but they repaired them for a very reasonable fee.  They also put in a sliding glass door in the back for us that both looks and works better than the original French door.  They were great to work with.  We are using them again for another repair job, and recommend them to anyone.
