Like I said, everything was explained, all questions were answered, and all in a very efficient, punctual, and friendly manner.  Not much else to say, really, as I have no real complaints, and would recommend Dr. Straka to others.
The only "complaint"?  The office looks a bit dated, but other than that, a good experience.

This is a friendly and convenient office environment in the Sewickley Hospital building that seem to see a large volume of patients. The practice maintains a good environment, but sometimes the wait times are too long, Generally they are a very efficient practice, however, with the biggest plus being location inside the hospital.

I like Dr. Meditch. I think he is very nice, personable, he explains what he wants to do and why he was doing it, and takes the time to talk to you. I don't feel rushed. We have been going to them for the past 10 years, and they are very nice.

Over 6 years, I have had 3 doctors from Greater Pittsburgh OB/GYN.  All of which have made me wait over an hour for my appointment.  Barely an apology from 2 of them.  I kept going back because the location was ideal for me and I though "maybe I won't have to wait this time."  I guess I learned my lesson.  I do not recommend anyone from this office.

The experience was amazing. I can't say how nice Dr. Murphey and his staff were. While in the office, my wife was given another asthma test. I only took around 30 minutes were as at our general doctor's office we had to schedule the test at a hospital and wait for the results and the schedule a follow up. All of this took about a month. It seemed almost unreal to have the test happen so quickly. The doctor confirmed that my wife had asthma. He suggested that my wife have an allergy test. He gave us the option to do it right now on the skin or to have it done with blood work. We decided to have it done right now and choose the skin option. There was a problem. My wife and I skipped breakfast that morning. The doctor said not eating could affect the test. The next thing he did, blew our minds. He left the room and came back with a plate full of food, a drink, and a desert for both my wife and myself. Even I was given food even though I wasn't having the test done. Apparently since it was around the holidays they had food in the office for the staff. I'm not claiming that feeding us was a their normal process or he will do it for every patient, but it made us feel very special. Don't depend on this, eat breakfast before going in! After our meal, the test was administered and my wife was confirmed with having animal allergies. The doctor proceeded to discuss options about medications and the possibilities of allergy shots. We have a follow up in about a month. Overall, a wonderful experience. The doctor answered all of our questions and ensured we understood each step of the process.

I have been seeing Dr. Lester Stine for about 10 years now. I had horrible acid reflux and he did all he could before recommending surgery. But the damage had been done, and I have Barrett's Esophagus. He recommended I go for a scope every 2 years. Every time I see him, he is always very friendly, answers all questions I have. They always take me at my scheduled time. I would recommend Dr. Stine to anyone, he is an EXCELLENT doctor.

Every appointment I have with her goes extremely well. Waiting times are minimal, and her assistant does the preliminary work - vita signs, etc. very quickly and thoroughly.

Dr. Kross has been my primary care physician since I moved to Coraopolis from Minneapolis in 1994 at the age of 37.  I picked him out of the Yellow Pages by his picture!  He is friendly and competent, a bit distracted at times but then what doctor isn't.  He has prescibed medication for me as needed, adjusting the dosages and renewing my scripts when I present for my yearly appointments.  My visits with him have been pretty basic, we discuss how I'm doing, he checks my blood pressure, gives me a prescription for lab work and adjusts my meds accordingly.  I haven't had a thorough exam since my initial visit and haven't scheduled one but probably will sometime soon, I'm 55 now and feeling the effects of aging!  My gynecological care is provided by an OB/GYN Dr. Kross recommended, and he referred me to a psychologist at my request; both are very competent and kind, though I haven't seen either in some time.  The staff has always been very friendly and nice and we converse on a first-name basis.  The waiting room is dimly lit and comfortable, a TV on to provide entertainment and distraction, lamps and greenery to make it feel homey.  The wait time has always been reasonable.  The nurse is sweet and personable and puts me at ease when she checks my weight, BP and temperature.  The exam rooms are  bright and cheery and clean.  I really like Dr. Kross, he's always treated me with the utmost respect and my experience at his practice has always been as pleasant as a doctor visit can be.

When I first met Dr. Neely in December, I was impressed with the amount of time she spent to get to know me and my health history. When I followed up with her after discharge, she remembered a lot of the details. She pays attention, listens closely, and then offers down to earth, comprehensive solutions. When I came in for a sick day visit, it just so happened I was also upset about someone else's health choices. Normally I would not take my doctor's time to discuss someone else's health problems, but she understood the impact my concern for this other person had on my health; she took the time to ask me about someone else's health dilemma, and offered insights for me to share to assuage my concerns. She understood the impact on me, and helped me work through my concerns for someone else, as well as my own health concerns. That is how attentive she is...whatever my problem is becomes a shared concern for her that she will use her professional time to help resolve. The care is extraordinary....and never rushed.
There are two areas that are difficult: it's difficult to get an appointment at times, and the external company that does the billing does not post payments promptly...so that you will end up getting a bill for a service already paid for...repeatedly, but they will work that out with you.....it also has nothing to do with Dr. Neely...as the billing is done by an outside company.
Overall, the experience and care are truly outstanding.

She's the greatest. She's very thorough and she gets right into my business. She doesn't just walk in and walk back out again. She shows concern; she has her staff call when she hasn't heard from me for a certain test. One time they had to call me three weeks in a row. Usually other doctors say “the heck with you, if you don't want to do it, why should we worry about it.” But that's not her. She's really good at follow-up. Her staff and she are just great. I had a son that died and I was just driving around and I was miserable. I stopped in and she put me right in; she's very busy but she put me right in.
