    J Francis Company LLC
We did a long-distance, full-house remodel with J. Francis. Normally, that would be a recipe for disaster. But the professionals at J. Francis did an incredible job with every phase of planning and construction. They delivered what they said they would on time and on budget. The finished product is fantastic. I would give them the highest possible marks for all phases of the project, and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone interested in a renovation project!

    Ray Techman
Ray started our tiling project 4 months late. He then proceeded to take an entire month to tile a simple 36"36" three wall shower. He then refused to order our shower door until we paid him in full and said he would be back in 3 weeks to install it. Over 6 weeks have passed and we still haven't heard a word about our shower door. When it came time to pay him in full he refused to show us any receipts from the materials he purchased and wouldn't explain where he came up with the final price that we owed him. He gave us every excuse in the book and told us how he never does 2 jobs at once and that he's not the contractor that starts a job, leaves to work on something else and then comes back yet he took 5 days in the middle of our project to go tile a back splash for someone else. He also insulted us about brands and types of materials we purchased as well as our intelligence. I may not be a professional contractor but I grew up with two parents who built 12 homes in a single development so I know at least a little information. Yes his work is good but it's not worth dealing with his rudeness, tardiness or unprofessionalism.

Responsive to call and punctual for initial inspection of worked planned. He did not respond with an expected bid leaving us with the impression that he did not want the project. I would call again for any future work, but if bid is not forthcoming, I would cease to contact his company moving forward

    Gilbert Tile
Excellent communication and responsiveness. He was receptive to owner's design ideas. Bill was flexible with the project start date due to the delay of the arrival of ceramic tile. He cleaned up daily. At completion of project he responded same day to repair a small plumbing leak, not directly related to his work. He began on time and completed early. Pleased with final outcome.

Brien and his team did a wonderful job with the bathroom and the shower . Brien is very trustworthy and makes sure you are happy with the work performed at every step . He gave us really good suggestions along the way. He and his team are punctual and reliable and really did a great job with the baths . They gutted out an existing bathroom , added new marble subway tile flooring . Made a marble subway tile walk in shower and added a new vanity as well. Every think was done perfectly .Our bathrooms look great and we could not have been happier . We will definitely use B & M home improvements in the future and will recommend them for any home improvement project.

    Morris Contracting
It was time to remodel our master bathroom and we were looking for a respected and professional contractor. Morris Contracting and owner Jason Morris came through with flying colors. Not only did Jason remodel our master bathroom but he also guided us through all of the details of purchasing our travertine floor and wall tile along with the added touches of chair rail and baseboard tile, lighting and fixtures. Jason and his crew always arrived 15 minutes early to start the job at 7:00 AM and put in a full days work while making sure they kept the rest of our home clean while accomplishing the remodeling. We would like to sincerely thank Jason for turning our master bathroom into a master bathroom spa?

Patete Kitchens & Bath Design Center

Patete did a complete remodel of our master bath, including ceramic tile in the shower and floor and replaced everything in our powder room except the floor.  (We have hired our own painter.)  We are completely satisfied with their work.  All of the craftsmen they sent to our home were professional, friendly and respectful.  Most were a joy to talk to.  The salesman and designer were also great to work with.  Both were patient and there was no pressure to make a decision before we were ready.

The work was completed in about 12 days, which was within the timeframe they gave us when bidding on the job.  There were a few minor problems, specifically, a cracked toilet tank and a gob of grout that dried onto a tile.  These were immediately rectified.  There was also a 2 day delay in receiving and installing a mirror and medicine cabinet.

The most difficult part of the entire process was making design decisions.  It required 3 visits to Patete for a total of about 6 hours.  These meetings were held in their design center, which is cramped.  We had to share the area with another customer.  This setup is less than ideal.  Each time that we went to Patete, the salesman and designer were prepared and did not waste our time looking for paperwork, samples, etc.  Once all of our design decisions were made, we were presented with a written proposal that provided the bottom line dollar amount for the entire job.  As others have pointed out, there was no dollar amount breakdown for individual items/work.  We were told the proposal was good for 10 days.  During that time, we negotiated a price that we thought was fairer.  We returned to Patete to sign a contract (still only a bottom line dollar amount specified) and put 30% down.  We paid another 20% when the final measurements were taken, 40% on the day the work began and 10% when work was completed.  The contract specified that work would begin in 8 to 10 weeks.  It started about 9 weeks after signing the contract.

We received 3 other bids for the job, all of which were less expensive than Patete.  So why did we go with Patete?  We liked the idea of ?one stop shopping? and felt they used top of the line supplies.  The deal clincher was the lifetime warranty that is offered.  The contract specifies a 5 year warranty.  Everyone from the owner to the salesman and workmen promised a lifetime warranty on anything, leak, grout discoloration, anything at no additional charge.  It was explained that the company?s lawyers have advised against putting that in the contract.  So, yes, we?re taking them at their word and we?re comfortable with that.  At any rate, the other 3 bids we received only specified a one year warranty.

    Avalon Tub & Tile

Bob and his team worked very efficiently and professionally. And were always friendly and gave me great  instructions and information during and after the semi remodel.   The start of the project began with the electrician who installed the new vent/light for the shower and also corrected the electricity for an outlet(that was extra), Bob and his team then came in to do the tear out of the water damaged walls surrounding the tub down to the studs. The plumber was then scheduled to install the new anti scald plumbing after which the crew was back to refinish the tub from pink to white and then install new insulation, waterproof drywall and the new tub surround. I did purchase a new vanity and lighting for the bathroom which Bob picked up the vanity for me from Lowe's.  The last detail was his tile crew did a great job refitting the bathroom tile to meet the new tub surround.  My home was never left a mess, everyday they cleaned up after themselves and were usually always on time. This all took approximately 5 days. I am very happy with the results.

    Molyneaux Tile Carpet Wood
We were looking for new flooring to replace the marble tile in our foyer. Unfortunately, new marble was quite out of our price range. Our sales man, Bill P******, was able to bring us multiple alternatives that were both beautiful and  much more affordable.
Our new floor looks every bit as lovely and unique as marble might have.  Kudos also to the installer who did a superb job.  Removing the old floor was not an easy task, but he was able to complete the entire  project in one day.  We could not be more pleased with Molyneaux's sales professionals and installers, and would recommend them highly to anyone.

    Bonura Construction LLC
My sister and I hired Frank to remodel a small bathroom in the family home that my father built 60+ years ago. Other than periodic painting and some plumbing updates nothing had been done since it was built. Frank was great to work with from the very beginning, He returned my initial call promptly and was right on time the day he came out to give us the estimate. The bathroom needed new flooring including the sub-floor, new lighting including an exhaust fan, and new dry wall, in addition to a new bathtub and all new fixtures. My sister and I had some specific requests and Frank listened to everything we wanted. For instance, we wanted to keep the original sink that my parents bought when the house was built. It is still in very good condition. Another contractor had told us the sink was too old and would likely break when it was removed. Frank said it would not be a problem and carefully removed and replaced the sink. He has a "can do" attitude that we appreciated. He is also a very personable guy. We highly recommend Frank for another reason: he does it all, one stop shopping. He did the construction work, the electrical, plumbing, tile work and painting. No waiting for sub-contractors who can delay a project. I purchased the bathtub, sink and shower faucets, and vinyl flooring on line and had them delivered to the local big box store (the orange one) and Frank picked them up. The project came in on time and on budget. We couldn't be happier with our new updated bathroom.
