    I was looking for something else on Angie's List and thought to see if Programechanics was on here. Coworkers recommended me to George and his shop 20 years ago now, and I have to say he is the most honest and fair person I've ever dealt with, in addition to doing great work on my cars over the years. He will NEVER try to upsell you, and on many occasions has done the opposite- tells me I don't really need a service I asked for, or knows I can do certain repairs myself and tells me to do that and save money, and provides any advice on doing those repairs. He also always takes the time to thoroughly explain the work needed or performed. I haven't worked near Programechanics for 15 years, but gladly go out of my way to have my cars serviced there. I've referred others to George and they are also extremely happy and surprised with the service and advice.

    I did use them through my insurance for a crack in the windshield.  I went to their location and had my windshield replaced.  The only thing about it, which I had no idea that it could occur, that there are certain times at certain speeds debris can get kicked up and break your windshield.

    A friend referred them. I've used them several times. They were excellent. They are very honest. They do good work. Very reasonable prices. Really prompt. This time, I thought there was a problem that was as a result of prior work. They checked it out and repaired it. No charge.

    My wife called me after work one night and her car would not start. She was alone in a parking garage and the ignition would just click. I found this really odd since the battery was only about 2 yrs old and the car has been fine up until this point.
    She luckily was able to get security to jump start the car and she made it home. I checked the car thinking that the battery was not charging correctly and the battery seemed to be fine. My wife drove the car for 2 more days and in the mean time we made an appointment with our mechanic to take a look since we were not able to duplicate the issue.
    The very next day my wife was stranded again in the parking garage at work. After much aggravation we got the car to the garage only to find out that someone had taken off the battery terminals and cleaned the top surfaces on the cables but not the corrosion on the battery terminals. When they reinstalled the battery cables they did so right over top of the existing corrosion on the battery terminals. This was causing an intermittent short keeping the car from starting.
    I asked my wife if anyone had touched the car and she said yes " the guy from Jiffy Lube talked me into having my battery cleaned, he said it was dirty"
    I hit the roof. This was all caused by some untrained  bozo trying to up sell yet another unsuspecting woman something she does not need. Even if it was relevant it was not performed correctly and the so called "mechanic" should be fired for leaving my wife stranded twice because of his incompetence.
    After paying $50.00 to my mechanic for diagnosing the issue I called Jiffy Lube and explained the problem. After a little persuasion they agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the "cleaning" and the charge for my mechanic. However, they never truly apologized. They told me that they talked to the person responsible but I say that is too little too late.
    I feel they should have at least apologized to my wife and that never happened. Customer service is not alive and well at this place and if I were you I would steer clear of this place at all cost. It is fairly obvious that the employees here are not qualified to do much of anything mechanical and might want to pursue a career in retail.

    We have trusted Smith's Car Care over the years to keep our cars in great shape. While we used to have our cars serviced at the dealers, we realized we would be far better off forming a long-term relationship with this local, family run business. They are honest and trustworthy and their prices are well below what dealers charge. They developed an intimate awareness of all of our vehicles over the years. I had a Toyota Celica that I drove for close to 300,000 miles before I decided it was time for a newer car. Smith's serviced that car assuring that it was up to the long commute I put the car through for 20 years. In addition to the fine maintenance work they do, they are always there for us when something pops up. We have stopped in on more than one occasion with a problem that popped up...they take a quick look and listen to see if they can diagnose the problem on the spot. I've even had them do quick fixes on the spot. They are simply the best.

    Binder's is the best I have ever used for my automotive service. They are professional, courteous and extremely accomodating. They make recomendations, look for ways to save you money and go out of thier way to make the process of getting your car serviced as simple as possible. Binder's also takes care of reminding you when regualr maintenance services are necessary to extend the life of your car. We have three vehicles with over 100,000 miles and I know I can trust the Binder Automotive team to get the most out of each one of them.they

    The service was excellent from the online reservation, to the handling of the paperwork, and the actual repairs. The service rep called once he had an estimate of the work required to get approval. The work was done well, the engine was cleaned and the car washed. On pickup, the work was explained and a written report of their inspection was provided with some additional work that should be done. However, unlike other dealers, there was no pressure to schedule the work or have it done there. In fact, on the first visit, I did work myself after rep was nice enough to rank jobs that I could do and provided some tips.
    I took a loaner this time -- hassle free.
    The only negative is that they are pricey compared to private shops. However, some of the repairs need a dealer. When compared to other dealerships (not BMW), the price is in line but the niceties are much better at Daniels.
    I would recommend them for good service and a very pleasant experience!

    They are outstanding. It's a small shop. The owner did the work, and he did it immediately while I waited. I only had to wait there for only 15 minutes. I used to use him a lot before I moved out to where I live now. He was very good at the particular service that I needed. That's why I went there.
