Lighting Installation reviews in Conshohocken

All jobs performed successfully without drama. Good, timely communication of appointments. Regarding my neighbor, the individual was kind enough to check in with my neighbor after finishing my job AND even more thoughtfully, texting me with the results.

It went very well. He showed up right on time and involved me in the decision process. He went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect and was incredibly detail oriented. I can be a demanding person but I didn't have to be with this contractor. I would use them again without hesitation.
The only thing I would advise to anybody installing recessed lighting, there will be some sanding/painting you have to do after the install depending on the placement of lights, joists, and removing old lights fixtures. I didn't even consider that, so just a friendly heads up.

    Millenium Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling
The team from Millenium demoed the entire bathroom, carried out all of the debris from the demo, removed and replaced all rotted areas (including walls and floors), re-framed the closet, added all new hardware (toilet, vanity, bathtub), added beautiful tiling for the tub and the floor, removed and replaced window, added vent fan/light, put in all new fixtures, and painted ceiling and walls.  For the outside, the team power washed the entire patio and retaining walls, filled in cracks and gaps in the concrete with vinyl patching, coated the retaining walls and patio with two coats of paint.
I cannot say enough great things about Millenium!  Kip really kept to his word on our original agreement.  He took time to go shopping with my wife and I for the items needed, so there was no guessing on what would be installed.  The team was excellent and professional.  The project manager, Dan P., kept me updated every day, made wonderful suggestions and was easy to work with during the whole process.  I felt very comfortable leaving them in our home while they did their work.  My wife and I love our new bathroom and how our walls and patio now look with its new clean colors.
I would recommend Millenium to anyone and will use them again for any future home projects!

    Delnico Total Home

Everything went very smoothly, from scheduling to a quick turnaround on the job after I purchased my desired materials.  I purchased a deal for $399 for 8 hours of electrical work, knowing full well that the job(s) I was looking to have done would take significantly more time, basically, almost double the time.  They were very reasonable on cost for the excess work.  The men who performed the work were friendly and accommodating of requests.  They also took the time to make sure that I was satisfied with the placement of the lights before installing them. And we were very satisfied with the end result.

There were a few minor details...they probably could have cleaned up after themselves a little better, I'm still waiting for them to bring back a cover plate for an outside electrical box, and they left some electrical tape up that they used to mark an exterior wall...but in all, very minor issues.  I would definitely use this company again.

I thought my lighting fixture needed to be rewired. I called for them to come out and fix it. As it turned out, the switch in the wall had a loose wire. Ruben, the technician popped the wire out. tightened it and fixed the problem in 2 minutes. He didn't even charge me because it only took a minute! He could have easily made a full job out of it! I will use them for all of my electrical needs in the future! That is customer service.

John arrived on-time to my house. We went through the list of projects/priority. He was very mindful of staying within the 4 hour window of the coupon I had purchased. Everything went smoothly.

    Jack Flash Electric & Lighting
Excellent.  Jack easily had the best price on the service upgrade, which is ultimately why we went with him then added on the other work.  He showed up on time for both estimates (we had him in once before we bought house, then again after we bought and were ready to do the work), walks around the place taking notes and chatting with us, he's extremely knowledgeable of homes built in the area and construction methods.
Arrived on time on day of work, crew came in and immediately got to work.  They performed as much as they could before cutting the power so that fridge would be off for minimal amount of time.  Once on site he noticed a light that wasn't connected to power, we hadn't seen it previously and he connected it and got it working.  Quality of work performed was impeccable, can't fault anything.
We plan to use Jack for any other electrical service we ever need.  His entire staff is polite, professional and very nice.  Can't say enough good things about the service we received.

    Housing Solutions, Inc.
We gave the owner of Housing Solutions, Neal, a drawing of what we imagined our new rooms to be, and he walked through the space with us, discussing what would and wouldn't work. Based on our discussion, he came back to us with a very reasonable proposal. We gave him a third of the fee to start the project, and the work began a few days later.
Even before the work on our house began the experience was out of the ordinary. Neal volunteered to meet us for a trip to Lowe's and Home Depot to guide us in picking out the light fixtures, toilet and vanity, flooring and trim. He was not necessarily offering aesthetic opinions, but rather practical advice as to what pieces his experience told him would work well in our space. We felt that this was a very helpful experience, and certainly one that no contractor has offered us before.
Neal's lead carpenter and job-runner is Barry, and he was an absolute delight to have in our house working every day. He's incredibly knowledgeable and talented in the work that he does. Because we both work from home, Barry was in constant touch about his progress, and offered solutions when changes in our plan were needed (as they always are when a job is underway). Barry was on time every day and kept at his work till quitting time. He and his assistant Maqile were always upbeat and energetic, and at day's end they swept up and organized their tools for minimal disruption of our lives.
Neal would stop by nearly every day to check on Barry's progress and to make sure that we were pleased with how things were going. Neal said several times that no job runs perfectly, but if we had any problems, he and his crew would do their best to make things right. As with every renovation project, there were a couple glitches, and indeed Neal and company took care of them immediately.
Now we've done all the painting, and it gives us great pleasure to look through the glass door from the kitchen into the brightly-lit laundry room. The formerly unpleasant and dark storage room now a functioning part of the house, and we love it.
We can't imagine such a project going better than ours did, and it's highly unlikely that another company would offer such good quality workmanship at a very reasonable price along with such great people who the customers are happy to have around. We missed them when the job was over. Every time we go into our new powder room and laundry room, we are reminded of the great work they did and how enjoyable it was having them in our day to day life.

    DTS Electric Inc
I was contacted before the contractor arrived, and I had the lighting that I wanted to be set out in a box ready for him.  I also had purchased the replacement spotlight and bulbs so that was already here. When he arrived we discussed the what I would like to have done, and if there was time left over, I had questions.

He fixed the spot light and we moved on to the next project of covering an open electrical box, and then the walkway lights,  there was about 15 mins left of the 2 hours, and he replaced some outside bulbs for me in another spotlight.

I have been pleased with the work and I would recommend him again.  I originally met him during a special which he fixed a ceiling fan, a doorbell and investigated the spotlight to understand why is was not working.  I also asked for any recommendations that he might have.

This was a return visit from the previous Big Deal, to complete the other items that I had

    Last Detail Custom Carpentry
When each job was completed, the contractor responded months later to any minor detail that needed attention. There was never a hesitation to come back and "fix" something that needed adjustment.Having a general contractor supervise and coordinate all aspects of a remodeling job is something that is worth the additional cost, over trying to coordinate all the subcontractors on your own. It might cost a little more, but it is the best use of resources (money and time) that you can spend. This is a contractor who knows how to deal with customers, how to price and schedule a job, and how to brainstorm and manage every "Last Detail". All contact, whether calling back, billing, scheduling, etc., was in the most professional manner. Fabulous customer relations.
