FConshohocken Appliance RepairWe had a service person come out to diagnose a water leak with our washing machine for $59.99, that would eventually go to the repair. The person spent less than 30 minutes looking at our washing machine, said the seal was damaged and decided it was "not fixable" and we "need to buy a new machine." My husband ordered a $20 part on Amazon and fixed it! We were trying to have someone do this for us because we had a new baby and less time on our hands, but all we got was scammed out of money. When I called, they had no apology or recourse about the person they sent to our home who did NOTHING. They also had to move up their appointment by over an hour because "other appointments were cancelled so they would no longer be in my area at the original time." To them, it's better to inconvenience customers than themselves. I'd call a handy friend or any other company before I call this place again.- Louise P.

AMr. Appliance of King of PrussiaProbably the best experience Ive ever had in appliance repair. Same day service, great communication (phone, email and text). First repairman James quickly diagnosed issue, contacted a second repairman to come out and clean ducts all within 2hours. Worked with office to combine/reduce service fees. Both servicemen provided some unsolicited tips to keep both washer and dryer working properly. Billing was emailed to me in a pdf before they left the driveway. Awesome.- John C.

AMr. Appliance of King of PrussiaRich came out and diagnosed problem with refrigerator. He ordered the parts needed and came back as promised on Saturday morning to install new parts. He defrosted the refrigerator before leaving Tuesday and said it should run ok until he returned with parts. He was right. Quick, efficient and neat. He explained what the problem was and what would fix it. I Called to check on Saturday appt. and staff was friendly and helpful. Tech called before coming for appt. Thought price was ok for parts and repairs. Would use again in future.- David P.

AQuick Fix Appliance Services LLCCalled to request a service call on the dryer, and they sent out someone the same day! The technician was very professional, called prior to arrival, was on time, very polite, and clean. They diagnosed the issue, fixed the heating coil, and cleaned out all the lint in the dryer. Would hire again!- Melissa S.

ATim's Appliance Repair IncScheduling the appointment was pleasant, painless, and easy. Tim arrived at the time he said he would. He quickly got to work and shared the bad news with us: we could fix the washer but would cost more than buying a new one. While he was diagnosing the washer he removed the lint that gets trapped inside the dryer - making the running of the dryer safer and more efficient. He shared his maintenance experience with us (at my request) as a reference for selecting a new washer. He answered all my questions about various options including to stack or not to stack the washer and dryer (again based on his experience - which is 40+ years.) Tim was very helpful and I believe he helped us not waste our money.

FHart Appliance ServiceI called Hart to have them come out to repair a microwave at a rental property that I own. I had them all lined up and they had the number of my tenant, but then called the tenant and cancelled the service. My tenant then tried to contact them to reschedule but they never responded. Then I called a week later and left a message and they never got back to me. We used them before and never had a problem but this is really poor service and we will not be using them in the future.

AQuick Fix Appliance Services LLCEverything went well. The person who came to our home was well informed and knew what he was doing. We have been smelling gas intermittently, so we took advantage of this offer to have someone check our gas oven and anything in our basement that may have been connected to it. We were happy with the services provided!

AQuick Fix Appliance Services LLCWe called Sunday at 11 AM and Adam was there by 4PM and diagnosed the problem as a timer after checking all fuses and switches. Just my luck it had to be the timer, which was the most expensive part (online for about $90) He did not have the timer for our specific dryer, and the universal he had did not work due to a sensing cycle. He returned on Tuesday at 4PM and repaired the dryer in short order. Communication, followup and response time excellent. Will use again definitely. A1 service which we were happy about as we need the dryer with a large family

AAviv AppliancesThis review actually combines service on two occasions 12/7 and 12/12. I originally contacted Aviv because I was afraid the internal mechanisms in my range were broken. The last time I used one of my burners, it became stuck and I had to basically "snap" the gas and fire off. I was convinced the burner was shot and was afraid to even try it again in fear of causing a gas leak or not being able top turn the lit gas off. Since I needed that addressed, I also asked Aviv to look at the water line on my fridge which no longer dispenses water and tighten the handle on my dishwasher which requires the whole door to be disassembled.
We could not find common time during the week so they put me on for Saturday. The only tough part was that I had to stay close to home because they could not tell me exactly when to expect the serviceman to arrive. He did call around 2 pm and told me he'd be there in 20 minutes and he was true to his word.
Here is where I was really impressed. Like most repair companies, he charges a flat rate for the visit and if you choose to use his service after the estimate, the flat rate is rolled into the overall price. His rate was $70. That $70 covered all three appliances. Another highly rated provided wanted $100 per appliance! I felt the $70 was very fair. The serviceman was a true proffessional. He quickly diagnosed that my range was fine, but it was my knobs that were shot and making the gas burner "stick." So instead of tearing the appliance apart, I just need to order new knobs and I do not have to worry about burning down my house. As for the refrigerator, he said he could not fix it that day, but would get back to me after calling GE and acquiring a price for the repair parts. He discussed at length with me the cons of my fridge and why it may not be worth the effort because these types of fridges freeze up every few years. I wish I knew that 7 years ago. (Aviv called back a few days later and the estimate was $300. I declined as the problem would most likely happen again.) Then he was on to the dishwasher. He easily tightened up the handle after taking apart the door, but then followed up with guidelines on how to use and maintain the dishwasher. Apparently I have an excellent dishwasher, but never knew because I had been using it improperly. He went over step by step how to break down the machine, clean the parts, and then rinse out all the mineral deposits that had set in. He left me with directions on how to maintain and use the washer to its maximum capacity in the future. I've used all his tips and my glassware is now spotless and there is no longer mineral residue inside the machine.
All this took about an hour. He only charged me an extra $20 dollars for his time. He was honest, friendly, and helpful. Not only did he take care of my concerns, but took the time to educate me on how to avoid issues in the future. I would recommend Aviv to anyone who needs large or small appliance repair.
That is not the end of the story however. 2 days later a dishrag somehow fell into my garbage disposal and choked out the device. I thought the motor was shot because of the smell and the fact that it no longer worked. Aviv was able to come out on a Thursday night and fix it on the spot. Once again, I was educated on how disposals work and what I can do to use mine more effectively. I was charged the $70 service fee but nothing for the labor as it was a short job.
Once again, this is FANTASTIC service! I could not be happier with the results.

APereira ConstructionOur kitchen was probably as close to original as possible, with plastic gray and black tile from the 1950s on top of lathe and plaster walls. It had not been renovated since that time!
*If you go to this page on Facebook - www.facebook.com/pages/Design-Inspirations - you can see both before and after pictures of our kitchen, which are really incredible. The entire project took about 6 weeks, and that was from the time we signed the contract until the job was completed. The only things not covered in this contract were the electrical work, paint, our appliances, the actual tile used for the floor and backsplash with the corresponding grout, and the hardware for the doors.
Tom was on site every day, early, working every second. He has an awesome work ethic, and demands no less from anyone who works for him. We had a problem with a sink in our back porch - people had put things into it that clogged it to the point we couldn't do laundry - and the next day, Tom had the plumber come out and fix the problem immediately. We had a fairly tight time frame to work within, as well, and Tom came through for us. When we have more work to do on our house (and we will), I will use him again without a second thought. He explained everything he was doing, was pleasant, courteous, always on time, always got right back to us regarding any issue, and is someone I feel I can trust.- Susan G.
