The pricing was reasonable and service was outstanding. My mother's basement floods frequently and few weeks ago her sump pump failed and her boiler was ruined. They came out for an appointment then provided a quote the same day. Once we decided to go with them, they were able to install next business day. They installed new and removed old boiler. They also installed a new sump pump with a backup battery. Overall the crew was very professional and personable. They even made follow up calls to check on how things were going after a major rain storm we recently had. Will definately consider for future projects.

Just In Case Plumbing & Electrical, LLC
They were very quick to respond and were able to come the next day even though it was during a busy week with the hot weather. Found out I was low on refrigerant and found the leak. He was very professional and told me exactly what he was going to do. I would definitely reccomend them and would use them again. My AC unit is old but he didn't try to sell me on a new system since I'm hoping it should last a couple more years.

Frey Lutz installed an ETA geo thermal system in October 2010.  The system has never worked in air conditioning mode without having a service technician on site at the beginning of each cooling season.  After 2 years, the system completely failed and Frey Lutz had to replace all components.  Again, the system has never worked in cooling mode without a technician.
At the beginning of the 2015 cooling season, after 2 years in service with several service calls, Frey Lutz refused to do any service on the unit.  They will not even service the unit for payment.  They will not stand behind their sale or workmanship.
The unit has been diagnosed by another technician and found that the compressor is "fried" and needs replace, the unit is leaking freon and will cost us several hundred dollars to find the leak.  We knew there was a leak as Frey Lutz technicians have added freon every cooling season in excess of 250 pounds.  A closed system does not need freon added annually.  After less than 3 years in service, the major components do not work, there is no freon left in the system, and it will cost us over $6,000 to repair.
This geo thermal unit has cost us more to operate than any HVAC system on the market as it has been in emergency heating mode at least 2 of the 5 years in operation.
We paid $30,000 for a unit that has never worked properly and the company that sold it will not back their sale.  I would not recommend ETA products or Frey Lutz for any HVAC equipment or service.  We also made the decision not to seek legal remedies at the beginning when we were constantly having problems as we wanted to give the organization a chance to repair it.  However, they delayed long enough that we now are outside the window.  We have considered bringing legal action however, Frey Lutz will spend a lot of money on their legal defense.  This entire project has been a nightmare dealing with a very unscrupulous and unethical organization.  There is no customer service after the warranty expires even when there are problems from the beginning.

    Brubaker Inc.
Brubaker was top-notch from the get-go. Their inside associates are always pleasant and aim to provide the best customer service possible. Josh, my HVAC estimator and project lead, was fantastic. His knowledge, advice and professionalism set Brubaker apart from the competition. Josh quoted precisely what I requested, in the manner I requested (email) and was available by cell phone throughout the entire process. Using Keystone HELP, Josh was even able to answer some questions about the program and worked with AFC First to complete the loan process.
My installers, Don and Andy, arrived exactly on time and promptly covered all traffic areas with drop cloth to prevent tracking anything through the house. After acclimating to the project, Andy went to work on the condenser unit outside and Don got to work prepping the ducts and air handler in the attic. Their experience was quite evident, as in the course of one day they had removed my old a/c system and installed/checked the heat pump and installed/trained me on the new thermostat. Don is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and cares deeply about executing the customers desire in the most efficient way possible. Throughout the project I dealt with Don, Andy, Josh, Jere and Scot - I would recommend every single one of them.
I would highly recommend Brubaker, Inc. to anyone looking at HVAC work. I will certainly be using them as a primary HVAC service provider for the foreseeable future! And if their other service departments operate anywhere near the HVAC, I'll certainly be using them too!

    Mid-Atlantic Geothermal & Energy Management
MidAtlantic Geothermal of York PA installed a Geothermal System at my home. During the first significant Heat Wave (5/24/13), the Air Conditioning System did not function properly. MidAtlantic was not able to solve the problem and brought the Well Driller in to look at water flow. The Well Driller determined that the Whole House Water Filter was restricting the water flow. This was the same Whole House Water Filter that MidAtlantic told us was OK to use (In fact said, "We have customers who have Whole House Filters on their Systems that work fine").
The Well Driller removed the Whole House Water Filter and the system seemed to work fine until it was noticed that 1 zone continually short cycled and another zone continually had the fan running. I contracted with another reputable Geothermal Company who diagnosed the root cause of these problems and discovered other MidAtlantic system problems that they also corrected. This cost me $955 to correct unresolved issues that MidAtlantic was unable to solve on a system that they engineered and installed.
Four months later on 9/23/13 I received an Invoice for $233.47 from the Well Driller for their services to diagnose and remove the Whole House Filter System. MidAtlantic refused to pay the Well Driller and told them to "Bill the Home Owner".
After speaking with the Well Driller (Eichelbergers Inc.) they agreed to withdrawal the Invoice and not charge us for the work that MidAtlantic had them do. We can't say enough about the Kindness and Customer Service of Eichelbergers!!

    Lancaster Plumbing Heating & Cooling
My boiler was leaking water all over my basement.  I was scared to death that I'd have to replace it and be facing a $5000 bill (at least!).  The guy from Lancaster Plumbing came out and found the problem.  He actually went to a hardware store to find a part that he didn't have with him to stop the leak.  My boiler is OLD and he not only fixed the problem, but told me exactly what I needed if it started leaking again since the seal he put on wouldn't last forever.  VERY GOOD SERVICE.  He went above and beyond.

    Mid-Atlantic Geothermal & Energy Management
I absolutely would not recommend this company for anything Geothermal. After their installation was complete I hired another Geothermal company to straighten out the poor design and mechanical install. There were many additional add ons during the project, cost over runs, very poor communication, workmanship that did not meet expectations, did not clean up after themselves, installed the Geo Cover upside down with one screw etc. The worse Contractor experience that we have ever had.

    Komfort Keepers LLC
They were excellent and it came to responsiveness. The quote was excellent and they followed through on everything. It was a little rough switch over for the first 10 days because they had a little trouble troubleshooting, but they nailed it and it's doing great.

Fred Cramer - HVAC Gold Certified
Cramer appeared on time and did a relatively good job of inspecting my central air conditioning equipment.  He claimed the unit was low on freon and claimed that because it was freon and not the newer fluid, he'd have to charge me around $150.00 per pound.  It required two pounds.  Then he said the valve was leaking and needed to repair that, but I had to have another AC specialist come to repair the valve again when I noticed something dripping from the back of the unit.
Not sure what happened, but the second repairman, a friend of mine, said the valve was leaking and had to replace it, along with adding more freon.

For the detail and time Mark took to go over my system, I would have expected to pay well over twice as much as what I was charged and been glad of it.
It's really like having a "friend in the business"
