  • TJ and Erick were prompt, professional, clean and good guys to work with. The final results were excellent and just what I hoped for. TJ's estimates were accurate and the project stayed on budget. When small issues occurred (e.g. tub delivered on broken pallet, wrong color from vendor) TJ quickly worked with customer service to resolve. I was kept informed of progress and was consulted when decisions were needed. Construction phase took only a little over three weeks and final cleanup was excellent.

  • We had never done a major home renovation before so it was very helpful to have TJ Schumacher work closely with us to make the process as easy and cost efficient as possible. In addition to making design suggestions, TJ handled the purchasing for everything we wanted and needed. He and his handyman did all the work, from floor to ceiling. He just had to coordinate the installation of shower glass (the photo of the shower is before the glass was installed). The job was completed on top and under budget (some of our purchases were less $$ than estimated). The bathroom looks gorgeous; we highly recommend TJ!

  • Meridian completed our full kitchen remodel in the spring of 2017 (before and after pix attached). We would not hesitate to recommend Meridian and their team for any type of home remodeling. We researched several remodeling companies and chose Meridian because of their very detailed planning process and because they become your project manager. There was no organizing and coordinating of contractors, vendors, etc. on my end because Meridian takes care of all of that for you, which is invaluable. We dealt primarily with Larry, Austin, and Matt who were all respectful, prompt, neat, and skilled. I could go on and on, but bottom line, our project was delivered on time, on budget, and looks beautiful. We will be hiring Meridian again to complete our master bathroom remodel...

  • It was excellent from start to finish. Rick was so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to ideas on how to proceed with the projects. He even helped with ideas on how to finish these rooms off (wall mirrors, lighting, ceiling fans, etc.) Our bathrooms are absolutely beautiful. We will be using him again shortly to remodel our back porch.

  • Don and his crew did a great job from start to finish. His knowledge and level of professional are by far the best that I have found when working with contractors. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the project and provided a realistic timeline that was met. Don stated at the outset that if there were issues uncovered during the project he would notify me and address them. He made it clear that he would not ignore problems, but if they did arise he would find the most economical way to address them. During my bathroom renovations there were two issues, a tub drain that was not connected and ceiling wallboard that needed to be secured to the rafters. In both instances the fixes were completed with the least amount of intrusion and cost. When it came to finding fixtures and tile, Don pointed me to suppliers that he uses regularly. Using his regular suppliers helped with a smooth transition when securing the necessary equipment yet having the ability to select the fixtures that best suited my tastes. I have dealt with many contractors over the years, but Don is the first one that I felt comfortable with to leave my home in the morning and not have to worry about what was getting done at my house while I was gone. His crew did a great job cleaning up daily. The end result is that I have two very beautiful stunning bathrooms. Even with the two issues, the additional cost was minimal. His estimate was what I paid. I would strongly recommend anyone wanting to have work done in their home to contact Don. The only drawback with Don, is waiting for his availability. It is a small price to pay to get a contractor who knows what to do and keeps to his budget. Lea Anne

  • We had Tom come back for this much larger remodel project (4 months in total), after he did such a great job on our guest bath a few years ago. His work ethic, communication and prices are all second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone and will definitely re-enlist his services on any new remodel projects that we might have.

  • I had ceiling fans installed this summer. There were no electrical boxes in the ceiling so they had to install them and put the wiring in going up to the attic. I bought the fans myself. $350 to do 2 rooms. We were very pleased with his work. Price was very reasonable. I needed ceiling fans in my 2 upstairs bedrooms, the A/C didn't do the trick up there so I got a recommendation from one of my neighbors who had gone a similar procedure. They came in and knew exactly what to do. Even in the heat of summer they went in the attic and hooked it all up and were done in no time.

  • It went OK. The work was great, but the clean up was poor, they never checked to make sure it worked (thankfully it did!!), they were dressed very unprofessionally too. One worker had shorts and a cut-off muscle shirt. Another had long pants...but truly needed a belt as I was subjected to his blue underwear the 4 hours he was here. ALSO, they never asked for access to my attic, rather they just went into the bedrooms until they found an access panel, took things out of the closet (knowing they could NOT get into the small space). I heard them up in the room, so went up to inform them that all they needed to do was ask and I showed them pull down steps! They cut some of my medallion away (which I knew), but it created a lot of dust and pieces between the 2nd floor, hardwood steps and first floor. They (barely) swept the first floor. I also had to clean up A LOT of scrap wire between 1/4" to 12" in length. It too was on hardwood, so there is no reason that they couldn't see the mess they had created. They did good work, but not comfortable with their lack of cleanliness and professionalism. I'm attaching a few pictures to show you what was left behind. One picture shows what my hardwood looked like, the other 2 show SOME of the mess I pulled together.

  • Arrived on time, everything works and electrician left house as he found it. I don't know if $150 for that work is competitive or not, however, I had called another electrician from your list and he didn't respond for a week, after KB had completed the job.

  • High scores on all the important things. No surprises on budget. Thorough accounting, estimates and payment schedule throughout the project. Skilled, professional, and polite workers, including the design team (Devin). Quality of the work and finished product were outstanding. Some communications problems along the way, but that's to be expected with a job of this size. We would recommend dRemodeling in a heartbeat.
