    A technician was promptly dispatched, I had the opportunity to reschedule, but I did not. The technician checked the dryer and explained how the dryer can be fixed. Meanwhile, CHW decided it was not worth repairing such an old dryer, so they are paying me cash to replace the dryer. Don't expect a replacement price that is equal to the best dryers out in the market. I will also be replacing the washer, so there's additional money I have to spend, but the overall interaction with CHW was great.

    My dryer was working but making a lot of noise during operation. I was debating whether to jsut buy a new one or have my present one repaired. I read the reviews on Angie's List and decided to give Assurance a try. They were able to come out the next day and I'm glad they did. Alex and his helper were extremely professional. They explained the issue and replaced a number of parts that were defective. We agreed upon the price before repairs were done. They had all the parts with them except for one which they had to come back and install the next business day. I would both highly recommend them and hire them again.

    Unfortunately, I do not recall the names of the technicians. My appointment time was 10-2. I requested a call in advance so I could be at my house without missing much work. Christina, the lady who made the initial contact, set up my appointment, and continued to communicate all steps with me, told me the previous call was in the same area and a 45 minute advance call would be difficult. But, she informed me I was the third call of the day and my appointment would be close to 10. Fantastic. At 9:10, Christina called me to let me know the previous appointments took less time than expected. I quickly headed home to meet the gentlemen. They were kind, considerate, and very respectful. They evaluated my washer and determined the cost would be too high to repair and suggested replacement. I was given a full explanation of exactly what was wrong and had all of my questions answered. My washer and dryer are attached/stacking. I didn't think I could just replace one. But, I was assured it was possible and even given a suggestion of where to go. I will recommend Assurance Appliance Repair for anybody that needs evaluation or repair of their appliances.

    Bruce was a very kind gentleman, explained what he felt was the problem after thoroughly checking cooling components, and made the repair. While working he was very friendly, had a great conversation while he was working, and was a very honest business man. Hopefully I don't need to call on Bruce anytime soon but will not hesitate if I need a major appliance repair.

    Dishwasher was sending dishes out dirtier than when they went in, with fine grit all over them, also not draining fully. Dave's came out the next day, unclogged the hose and drain line, and replaced the pump. I received a good explanation on the work done, and help on the decision as to whether to repair or replace. Since the dishwasher is only 3 years old, we had the repairs done. All work completed in a little over an hour.

    Good. Part needed to be ordered for dishwasher so they had to come back and it cost a lot to fix due to the part needed but really happy with the service. Was really happy with getting my washing machine fixed. It is an old machine and he was able to fix it on the spot. Was really happy about that. He also replaced a fridge light for me at no charge. Great service, very responsive, courteous and professional.

    The woman that I spoke to on the phone was great and the two-man team arrived promptly. The dryer repair was fine. For the dishwasher, I did not like the fact that he installed the new part BEFORE he gave me a price - he said he would take it out if I didn't want to pay. I just wanted the repair completed, so I paid and my problem was fixed for the time being. However, they did not secure the dishwasher back into the cabinet correctly and now it tips forward when I pull the racks out. Also, now, about four months after this repair, the problem has re-occurred. I don't want to deal with them again, so I will pay someone else to do this repair for a second time.

    One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had, if you are thinking of contacting this business for appliance repair, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. First scheduled appointment was supposed to happen Tuesday August 30th 2016 between 3:30 and 5:30pm, which was set up through Whirlpool. Since I work in the city and my fiance is a teacher, we couldn't make the appointment before that time window, we were very clear about that and were given the okay. Regardless, they showed up at 1:00pm when no one was home. No biggie, I figured it's okay, let's just reschedule. Fast forward to Thursday September 8th, I took the day off and they gave us a window between 11:00am and 1:00pm. They even left an automated voicemail to confirm the night before. The next day I waited, and waited... and they never showed, not even a phone call. I texted my fiance to see if they contacted her since they had her number as the point of contact and she called them to see what the deal was and apparently their technician tried calling her during school hours and when no one answered he decided to blow off the appointment. She called to speak with a manager and he told her that since his technician could not get her on the phone he decided it wasn't worth keeping the appointment. The manager also stated that we would be billed for travel time yet his technician didn't even come down to our house, there was no knock on the door, nothing. The manager then asked her if she would like to reschedule and when she said that we would not due to their unprofessional behavior, he abruptly hung up. If you are looking for rude and untrustworthy people to service your appliances, look no further. Otherwise, contact someone else.

    I called this company because I had used them before and found the work to be good and they were responsive.  This time it took them 2 days to return my initial call to set up an appointment.  I decided to stick with them because I had used them before and had the fear of the unknown or trying another company.  The service person said it was leaking because the mother board needed to be replaced.  Since the dishwasher was is only 2 years old it was covered by warranty so I had to go through KitchenAid for the part.  And since it was easier I used a KitchenAid service provider for the repair too.  It turns out it was not the mother board, but a hose broke and some other minor repair.  In the end I was disappointed with the lack of responsiveness to my original call when the "call center" said someone would get back to me in 24 hours, but they never did and the fact that the serviceman diagnosed the problem incorrectly.
