    Wayne Dental Care
Don't give The Wayne Dental Care your business. Alicia the Office Administrator - double bills! This questionable and unethical practice is wrong and should not be done by any reputable practice. I am on Medicare and therefore have a very limited income along with very basic dental insurance. My regular dentist was away on vacation last summer when a Starburst candy I was chewing pulled out one of my crowns. Having used Dr. Handel at the Wayne Dental Care in 1998, I (foolishly!) returned there for assistance. And was warmly welcomed by Kristin I explained my financial situation to her and she had the Office Administrator come around to help me. I explained my insurance situation and asked for the price. She retorted that there was a practice price of $1,692 for crown reattachment. I pleaded my financial case again - and she 'reduced' the price to $846. I was thrilled and paid it all upfront by credit card, and had the procedure performed by Dr . Avi Weiner at the practice. The fun started when I received an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from my dental insurance company. I saw that Alicia had indeed billed the company for my crown repair - and had indeed received a payment for it!! Some $847.80 So with the $846 she got from me, that made the total reimbursement of $1692!! The price that they usually charge for a crown! However: when I returned to the practice and confronted Alicia, she refused point blank to reimburse me ANYTHING!!! She claimed that that was the regular fee for a crown re-attachment - despite me pointing out that regular dental insurance would only reimburse the practice the fee she charged me!! The paid $846!! They would normally have to swallow the remaining balance - as is customary for medical/dental practices. She still refused to credit me for th fee I had paid - seeing her chance to milk the disabled patient! So go here at you own peril!! You have been warned to find other more honest dental practices!!!!!

    Main Line Dental Group PC
I've been a patient at Main Line Dental Group for a number of years. Dr. Alex and her staff are friendly, thorough, and gentle! Dr. Alex is personable and and professionally great. She would give recommendations and lay out the options, never pushy.

I chipped a front tooth on a Friday and was given an appointment for the following Monday as I indicated I had no real discomfort.  Because I was a new patient I arrived early to complete minimal paperwork and saw Dr. Alex at the scheduled time.  She and her staff are wonderful and my chipped tooth was beautifully repaired; subsequent visits have been equally positive.

    Jakubaitis, Dr. Steven
The Doctor was excellent. His staff is EXTREMELY polite and friendly.
It was my first visit, so I can only compare his examination techniques and chairside manner, but both were top notch.
I am headed back for some dental work and a cleaning, and will report more later.
    HIGHLY recommend.

    Christopher D Maurer DDS
He does an excellent job. We've been going for years. The staff is very personable and they know us and our family. It is a very friendly atmosphere. He is very capable but not the friendliest person in the world. They are a little late sometimes.

    Dennis Chew DDS
He was fair. Basically, the tech is the one who's cleaning your mouth then the doctor will come in like two seconds and say, "Yep, everything is fine" then he leaves. My experience with them was great. The staff was okay.

    David S Leidy DMD
I am 34 years old, and have been going to Dr. Leidy since I was a child. He is a wonderful dentist, and I would highly recommend using his services. He does not push you into procedures, unless they are necessary, and has a wonderful bedside manner. I hope that Dr. Leidy will continue to work for at least another decade, and will be very sad when he does finally retire.

    Penn Dental Center
The dentists are all faculty of the Penn Dental School, so you're dealing with people who know what they're doing -- they teach dentistry to students. In that one office, they have all the dental specialties - from the basic general dentistry to the people who do implants to orthodontics.

Arrived and was greeted by the front desk. I had a very short wait and the dental hygenist came to collect me. Teeth were cleaned and polished. no cavities or other problems. The doctor came in after the cleaner for a quick exam. All looked good.

    Himmelberger, Dr. Linda K.
The most recent dental need was a new crown on a tooth I had broken. She saw me promptly , ground down the tooth, put in a temporary crown after making an impression for the new crown and fitted the new crown in about 3 weeks later. There was no pain and I appreciated that she took the time to explain every step of the process to me.
