Five Tips to Protect Your Foundation

Basement Waterproofing reviews in Chesterbrook

Easy to work with, and responsive to difficulties. Initial drains in basement did not completely solve problem, so vendor added a middle section across the room divider. Basement is now completely dry, after years of flooding.

    Paradigm Home Solutions
Andy and Ross (the owners) arrived with their crew (7-8 total) promptly each day of our job, and they all worked hard! They did a lot - new french drain, window taps, new sump pumps, scrubbed walls, etc. in "newer" section of basement, concrete repair and replacement, scrubbed walls, etc. in original (120+ yr.) basement, cleaned out and installed concrete floor in old crawl space area. They also installed a new, high efficiency dehumidifier. Finally, they guarantee their work, including the sump pumps! We valued their hard work and expertise, but just as much we appreciated their consideration for us and our home throughout the project. They moved all the items we had stored around the perimeter of the room to the center and covered it with plastic before starting the messy work. They used air cleaning devices to keep the inside dust to a minimum. They cleaned up outside work areas as much as possible each day before leaving, etc. We are happy that we hired Paradigm Home Solutions to tackle our basement projects, and we would definitely recommend them to others.

    JRL Design Inc
As with the other two large, complex projects JRL did for us (two full bath renovations), the job went well from conceptual stage and drawings to the last handshake. Jim and Marty make a great team, Their subcontractors work at the artisanal level. Any large, complex project hits snags and provides challenges. What counts is how such challenges are over come. JRL does a great job with such challenges. You, the homeowner, benefit from Jim and Marty's knowledge base and experience. We selected JRL design for the three largest dollar projects we've done (of a dozen in fourteen years) for several reasons. With this kitchen project, Jim's business model and use of design software allowed him to get us 3D drawings and a cost estimate when the other two teams were sending us letters from their respective architects telling us that moving forward meant a cheque to them, detailed drawings, another cheque and we'll have something for you in a month, Not. Jim walked through each step sending us to trusted agents for materials (quartz counter tops, tile and flooring, etc), providing samples of the wood and finishes for our custom cabinets, and so on. JRL remained sensitive to our needs - for a complete kitchen job you're without the nerve center of your house (especially if you have kids) for more than a month) - and the budget every step of the way. Jim and Marty should do your next job.

    Keystone Waterproofing & Restoration Services
My basement always took on water for years and my old masonry walls were crumbling. Phil came in from Keystone Waterproofing & Restoration Services and installed a perimeter french drain in my basement and also cleaned, cement parged and sealed my basement walls white. Everything is bone dry and beautiful!

    AJ Waterproofing

AJ  and his crew were wonderful.  AJ responded quickly to my request for an estimate and hIs crew began the work two days later.  AJ and his crew arrived promptly each day and completed the work in just two days.  AJ and his crew were professional and took care to protect my house from dirt and dust.  They exceeded my expectations when they removed lots of old junk and debris from my basement.   They took care to leave my basement clean when the job was done.  It has rained several times since the work was completed and my basement has been dry!  Thanks, AJ and crew!

    Basement Waterproofing Specialists
FANTASTIC!   my father-in-law supervised the whole project and he is a real pro at looking at for details.  the crew was knowledgeable, incredibly hard working and did a super job.  we went from 85% humidity with a musty smell to a basement that is dryer than the rest of the house.

    AJ Waterproofing
I called AJ Waterproofing to set up an inspection of dampness in basement of an investment property I just purchased. While many other providers over the phone started throwing ideas like french drainage etc etc...This wonderful lady that answered the phone asked me one question, are you running a dehumidifier to see if it solves your problem as a first line of defense. She mentioned that issue could be amplified since the property has been empty and not "lived in" for about a month and a half now. As a matter of fact, i had just purchased one last night and ran it through the evening and just checking now, problem seems a lot better.
The reason I am writing this review is to highlight the honesty and integrity of the person that answered the phone. She could have easily scheduled the appointment, with a sales guy even recommending expensive french drains  and even outside drainage work. Instead, she gave me ideas to try to address the issues myself.
That level of honesty and integrity should be noted and If all the employees shared such an integrity, then this co. will definitely be the first co. I would call for an honest evaluation and subsequent work

    Desert Dry Waterproofing
Communicated very clearly about when they would come. Came on a Sunday to complete the project. Walked through in detail what need to be done in my basement. Took them approx. 3 hours to complete the work. Explained everything they did afterward and cleaned up everything thoroughly. Very professional and did a great job!

    Paradigm Home Solutions
Andy, one of the owners, responded promptly to our request for a consultation, unlike several other businesses we contacted.  He was extremely knowledgeable and quickly sorted out a remedy for our damp crawlspace. He patiently listened to our questions and provided clear answers, which put us at ease and instilled confidence in his solution.  The task at hand struck us as quite challenging given the restrictive 3-foot height of an otherwise expansive crawlspace.  Andy and his crew showed up at the scheduled time, worked diligently drilling and banging away despite having to assume a prone position in sweltering conditions.  They completed the job in the prescribed time and left the area above the crawlspace in pristine condition.  In the months that followed, the crawlspace has remained dry. I strongly recommend Andy and his crew.  All aspects of the job were conducted with professionalism and aplomb.

    Waterproofing One
I ordered the special offer for a mold inspection and mold testing.  Joe the owner was a polite, friendly and
knowledge person.  He could tell right away that there was something leaking in the ceiling and said he had to remove
the ceiling before he could repair any damage and so he could determine the cause of the leak.  I asked him for an
estimate for the job and was given a price of $1,000.
A few weeks later two of his men showed up and removed the drywall ceiling. They laid out coverings on all the surrounding areas as to not make any mess. Once the ceiling was removed it was obvious that the leak was coming from my upstairs neighbor as the upstairs flooring was all wet and there was a slow drip now splashing on the floor where as before it was soaking in the ceiling.
I showed my neighbor the leak and the next day she called and had someone come out and determine her water heater had a slow leak. She had it replaced that day and the leaking stopped immediately.
The ceiling area needed to completely dry so a few weeks later 2 of Joes workers showed up to close up the ceiling. First they treated the open area to get rid of any mold that remained and also to prevent future mold. As with the last visit from Joes workers, drop clothes were laid all around the work area from the front door to the laundry closet. Joe showed up that day toward the end of the job to make sure everything was done properly. The actual cost for the job was exactly what Joe quoted. All of his workers were friendly and polite and did very good work.
Thank you Joe and your staff for a job well done.
