    It went fantastically. Ron arrived on time and spent 3 hours doing a terrific job. We didn’t have many spots anywhere but he did find one in front of our sliding glass door and he removed it. He also cleaned the small runner in front of that door.

    As the owner of Green Steam Details, now Green Steam Solutions LLC, I cannot review my own business. I will however, tell you we have been in business over 2 years now and have relocated to 540 5th Ave in Chambersburg, PA. Our new facility makes us easier
    to find and has allowed us to add several new services. Among them are a hand car wash where you drop off your keys and wait in our newly remodeled waiting lounge. We have TV, computers you can use with free wi-fi and various complementary beverages. While you wait we hand wash with microfiber fingered sponges, scrub tires and wheelwells, hand dry with soft microfiber towels, wipe door and trunk jambs, vacuum interior, wipe down dash, console, door panels and clean windows and mirrors inside and out. All this takes approximately 30 - 45 minutes and costs $20 for regular size cars and $25 for large vehicles and tax is included in price. Best of all there is no appointment needed.
    We now also offer several Detail Express Maintenance Services ranging from carpet cleaning at $39 to applying a paint sealant for $59. These services are 30 minutes or less.

    We have several fleet accounts as well as private customers. To my knowledge we have had only one unhappy customer and that was due to a scheduling error which was my fault.

    I had made the mistake of allowing a friend to borrow my Bissell carpet shampooer...she owns a few dogs and didn't vacuum as well as she should have before cleaning her carpets.  Upon returning the carpet shampooer to me I discovered that it was full of animal hair and needed cleaned badly.  The spray nozzles for both the floor cleaner and the hand tool were clogged and totally stopped working.  So I called Total Vac II and asked if they could take it apart and clean it out for me and have it working again.  Not a problem they said, give us 2-3 days and we'll have it as good as new.  I didn't clean a single part of the machine, both inside and out were in terrible shape when I dropped it off.
    After a week passed and I hadn't heard anything I called to check in on it.  They said it was done and I could come pick it up when it suited me.  When I picked it up I noticed the outside of the unit was still filthy.  I commented on it and the clerk at the store told me that they are more concerned about the inner workings.  I didn't say anything because they were right, there was no reason I couldn't wipe it down with paper towels and clean it.  I took the machine out to the car where my significant other was waiting.  Upon looking the machine over she told me that there was no way they cleaned anything at all, that as dirty as the outside was there would be hand prints and marks from them taking it apart.  I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took it home without complaining or pushing the issue farther.
    Needless to say, we got the unit home, filled it with water and cleaning solution and guess what...?!  IT STILL DOESN'T SPRAY!!!
    I actually got to looking at it myself then and there were clogs of dog hair in the underneath part that were there when I dropped it off and there when I picked it up.  They never did anything to it!  They just held onto it for a week, returned it to me and essentially charged me $50 for it taking up space in their shop.  I tried calling them and the man I got on the phone played dumb and was unwilling to make any suggestions to actually remedy the situation.
    It is safe to say that Total Vac is on my list of places that I will NEVER do business with again.  I learned 2 valuable lessons:
    1)  Don't lend a carpet cleaner to someone with pets
    2)  Don't waste my time or money with Total Vac

    After reading the reviews,I called this company  a week before christmas to set up an initial cleaning date.
    I described my large home as 3 story with 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms and I was interested in possible biweekly cleaning if the initial job was satisfactory so she was aware this could be an ongoing account for he company. 

     I told Beatrice we would only need 3 of the bedrooms done along with all the rest of the house (teenage kids in the other rooms).We set up an appointment towards the end of the first week in January at 11am well clear of the holidays and she confirmed via email (the best way to communicate per Beatrice) on Dec 26.

    After spending (wasting) my time "pre-cleaning" the night before and in the morning, I decided to send a email 90 minutes prior to our appointment reconfirming the time and giving my phone number if there was a problem. She reconfirmed OK via email at 10:22.
    At 10:43 she called to say there was a major problem with the vehicle and could we reschedule.  Really?

     I was still willing to look at rescheduling, when in the course of a call back conversation I realized she was sending me, and had always planned on sending me, ONE PERSON!
     Yes, ONE person for a initial DEEP CLEANING of a 3 story 4 bathroom 3 bedroom home.   Now, I dont know about you but I don't have all day to have someone cleaning my home, and I had some concern for her poor employee.

    My home is not filthy or cluttered. But I don't care how good you are, if it generally takes 3 people 3 hrs to do a good job cleaning a large home they don't know initially, it is going to take one person at least 6 hrs and they will be tired.
    This whole situation showed poor planning and judgement on her part and was a big waste of time for me.
    I could have had a clean home by now.
    Learn from my mistake and think twice before attempting to use this company.
