Pet Cremating reviews in Chalfont

Our beloved pet died suddenly on a Sunday.  I looked up crematories in our area without any bad reviews.  Found Pet Cremation SVC  and they also go under the name of World of Pets.  I specifically asked that my dog be cremated alone several times over the phone and the girl at the desk told me yes they do that type of cremation.  Again when we dropped our pet off, I asked the girl at the desk...he will be cremated alone and she said yes. We placed our dog in the crematory and we thought we were going to get what we paid for so we could have some closure.   I paid the $400 and we would hear from them in a few days.  They didn't call me and when I called them they were rude which made me curious what was going on.  Then they gave excuses why the ashes were not ready.  It rained yesterday, the doctor who does this is not here this week.  I could go on and on.  On top of it they told me...I told you that I would call you when it is ready.  Then they committed to delivery the next day after I told them that am coming for his body if he wasn't cremated yet.  Friday I called and they once again were rude to me but they didn't know that I was a mile from their office.  I drove to there location and I wanted my dog.  Then when the office manager came out and told me that the other people were waiting for there pets too, I was shocked.  I was led to believe that I was getting just my dogs ashes but I wasn't.  He was placed in the crematory by my sons and they didn't see any shelves in this crematory.  Our beloved dog was on the bottom of the crematory and other pets were thrown on top of him.  They couldn't prove to me how they id the various pets in the crematory.  I finally received my 100 lb dog's ashes but when I asked them to weigh them, it only weighted 3.2 lbs.  After the first encounter with this Vet/crematory I researched pet cremation and a 100 lb dog should have 4.2 lbs of ashes.  I didn't receive all of my dogs ashes either.  They placed the ashes in a cheap plastic container and they tried to dress it up with a cheap velvet cover.  For $400!  I have found since then that a cremation of a 100 lb dog should take 2 1/2 hours.  There are places to take your dog and watch.  Other places certify the remains.  I received nothing that means anything to me.  I was lead to believe that my dog was going to be taken care of in the manner that I wanted but he was not.  These people do not care for the feelings of the owner and I wouldn't even take my next dead dog to them.
