  • I called John for a quote, he gave me a quote of 280 to do the job. After I dropped off my car and had the work done, he only charged me on 230 for the job. The quote me gave was based on the front brake pads and rotors, it was cheaper to do the rear breaks and rotors, thus the difference. I thanked him for his honesty, you just don't see that often these days. The work quality is also good. There are no issues with the car.

  • I brought my car to Krause Toyota for diagnosis of an engine performance problem.  During the diagnosis, the mechanic broke the plastic connector that attaches to the coolant sensor and covertly glued it back onto the coolant sensor.  To top it off, they didn't properly diagnose the problem.  When I brought the broken connector to the attention of the service department manager, she denied breaking the connector and refused to properly repair the connector.  Their general manager was very unprofessionally when I tried to resolve the problem with him over the phone.  When he got on the phone, he didn't even have the courtesy to introduce himself and refused to even listen to my complaint.  Then, he defied me to file a complaint with the BBB and threatened court action if I stopped payment on my credit card.  Then, he rudely hung up the phone without a closing.  From the website, I learned his name was Tim Baer.  I ended up filing a complaint with Toyota and, after Toyota called Krause, the service manager called me back, admitted that they broke the connector, and rudely refunded the service charge, which was much less than the cost to properly replace the connector and associated wiring harness.  While this service was performed in August 2011, I only recently joined Angie's list and thought I should share my experience with the other members.  Unfortunately, I see Mr. Baer is still the general manager at Krause.

  • I think the price was in the same range as any other garage. I had visited this garage at two other times for some questions I had about my car, they checked it out for me, and I left feeling relieved that what I thought was something wrong was really nothing.

  • This guy is legendary. He is the best auto dealer that I have ever dealt with in my life. There are others that are good but this guy is a class by itself. He sells Subaru and I have not used a lot but as far as new types of cars it is the Subaru and he is probably the biggest in the North east United States. He just does things right for sales and service. Their shop rate is probably close to $100 an hour like most car dealerships are and their rates I would say is competitive. It is not fun paying that kind of rate but it is the way it is. Their customer service is very good. They are friendly, they are concerned and in lot of cases they are like reading your mind. They are absolutely genuine article. It is one of the few auto dealerships that are closed on both days of the weekend. But they have got more business than they can handle.

  • Their prices are expensive. When you have a shop work done from a dealer on a Mercedes, it's expensive. You are going to pay twice as much for the Mercedes, but it's going to be a more enjoyable car to drive than another car.

  • Their prices are very competitive.  They are pretty close to the best in the business.  The only other tire people that I am familiar with that I have used in the past have only brand new presence in the Lehigh valley.  Jack Williams have not only competitive price wise but they do good work.  They are friendly and they are good.  They do oil changes, brakes and other work besides just tires.

  • He does a very good job.  He gets it done when he says he is going to get it done.  He is a good resource like if we have questions regarding a problem, we can call him and he gives expert advice.  He found a lot of problems with previous cars and he was able to figure out.  He is a smart guy and he does a little good job from routine job to more complicated jobs.

  • My experience with the driver who took my car out to California was terrible. They were very timely in what they were supposed to do and setting me up with other company and the person who I spoke with at the other company was fine, but the driver was horrible. He didn't speak English, he wasn't where he's supposed to be, he called and he was yelling at me at like midnight on the night that he was supposed to deliver. It was horrible experience because of the driver, not because of Parker and actually not even because of the company that they referred to. That person who handled it was fine but the driver that I had to deal with and so I got in touch with the other people, it's horrible. Parker was fine, they were great to deal with. My problem is the driver of the company that they had referred me to. The price is fine. I would use the services of Parker again but not the driver.

  • It was very, very positive. They were very responsive. They were able to fit us in very quickly and get the work done very quickly. We were very happy. The price was certainly fair. They do very, very good work and we have a lot of confidence in them. They really did come through.

  • All of our cars(3) are serviced by Evan. We have been using Evan's services for at least 10years. Evan is a man of high integrity, a value hard to find in the service industry these days. I have a 1993 Honda Accord with 347,000 miles. I trust his judgement on the care of this aging vehicle. Evan's estimates are always within range of his work. His work is of the highest quality and done in a timely matter. I would recommend this gentleman's highly skilled service to anyone! Trust is the name of the game when trying to find excellent car service. Trust is Evan's middle name, we call him our car doctor!
