    Carlisle Regional Medical Center
They felt around my back and stuff. They just gave me a urine test and made sure I didn't have any kidney stones or something. I've used them before. The wait time is long but it's always long and I don't know why. There's a couple of times I've been in there and there wasn't a lot of people in there so I don't know why the wait time is too long. I expected them to do more like run more tests or x-rays, something more than just the urine test. They had me sit in this room for a while and then they just came in and gave me a urine test, then sent me home with a muscle relaxant and that was it. It helped a little but it didn't really help much. They left me back there by myself and then when they finally came back, they just gave me some prescription and then sent me home away. The treatment didn't really help.

I like the fact that it is regional and close by. They are almost brand new. What I didn't like about them was that they transferred me to another hospital. I thought they should have done the procedure right there; but they couldn't.

I think everybody in this area knows how terrible this hospital is. 60 minutes is going to do a thing on it. Everyone in this are knows that you don't go to Carlisle Hospital for anything other than a stubbed toe. Their food is excellent. They give you a menu, you call down, order it and they bring it up to you. The wait was terrible. I waited for hours to see a doctor. They are a couple miles from me, so getting there is good but once you are there it is not good. When you saw them they were friendly.

It was quick service and they did a good job. When I had the injury he didn't want to do any type of scanning that would have radiation on my brain because I was young and he didn't want to damage any of my brain cells. That really stood out to me because I didn't think of that and he did. He did a real thorough check of my head and he did all the explaining and monitoring. He took extra precaution to make sure I didn't have any damage due to scans and I thought that was really nice of him.

The treatment by the staff was wonderful...they tried not to hurt me when they had to do almost hourly blood tests.  Having worked at a hospital in the past I try to be an "easy care" patient.  The hospital food was my biggest complaint!  They have you call you meal in to the kitchen yourself...this was fine for me, but the elderly lady in the room with me really was capable of doing it and yet I heard the nurse tell her to call her order in if she wanted lunch!!  The menu is very limited and does not change at all (I confirmed this with the staff).  Actually the selections wouldn't be bad if the people cooking them actually knew something about food and cooking.  I got burnt mash potatoes one night, burnt gravy one night and a entree seasonal fruit plate with 1/2 cup of grapes, 1/2  cup of blueberries and six little cubes of cheese!  I already decided that since my doctor only works out of Carlisle then I will end up in there again but this time I will have food delivered and bring in some of it with me so I don't have to eat that awful hospital food!

The staff was really good and the wait time was ridiculous. They were sitting around fooling around instead of taking care of us. I was seriously mistreated there and ended up in the hospital as a result.

I went into the emergency after consulting with my podiatrist, and at the emergency they were not sure if it was gout or cellulitis, but it took almost an hour and a half before the doctor came to see me and though I had nothing bleeding or broken it seemed like a long time, once the doctor got there she had blood work done right away and he gave me the treatment which I responded to immediately. It seemed like the doctor was a little rushed, maybe she was the only one on duty so she explained things but very quickly and then took off. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I had a fall and needed to been seen in the ER - all went well and fast. Doctors were helpful and supportive in helping me with my injuries and aftercare.
