Window Replacement reviews in Canonsburg

Mitch researched different kinds of windows to find ones that best suited my needs. I was hesitant to replace perfectly good windows just to have them open, but the price he provided was very reasonable compared to my other quotes. The installers did a great job of removing and replacing the inside moldings so I didn't have to paint them. I painted the trim anyway to refresh it, but their work was so neat that it really wasn't necessary. These guys made the job very easy, and it was definitely worth the price to have functioning windows. I would hire Scott Brothers again in a minute and definitely recommend them.

    Meredith Home Improvement
I apologize - this is long. Our project was completed back on 8/2016. We had issues going into the project which in hindsight should have been enough for us to drop them and find someone else. With me being pregnant at the time, we wanted to project completed before our baby was due. We had issues with the initial permitting and our township office. Meredith couldn't produce proper drawings for out porch roof to be approved. It took weeks for Ty to hire an architect to get the drawings completed - he thought just handing a pencil drawing on a scratch piece of paper was sufficient... Fast forward after completion of the project - the crew was courteous and efficient. A few months later we noticed (during fall rainy season) water running down the front of our house, leaving our front door area wet (it now has a ROOF). We called and called and finally got them to come out. Their solution? Add caulking... We tried for 2 years to get them to come out again and we got the run around (that's if we were able to actually talk to some one.) We finally got another roofing company to come out and inspect. We thought maybe they used to incorrect flashing. After inspection, we found out along with incorrect flashing, the ENTIRE roof was installed incorrectly and water was leaking in between the siding. Luckily everything was covered by the GAF warranty and we weren't tied to using Meredith to make the repairs since it was 2 years after initial install. The management practices of this company is appalling and is the reason why contractors get a bad name. Not to mention the staff turnaround. They are swindling thousands of dollars out of homeowners and employing contractors who do not know how to do proper installs. Their license needs to be revoked. It's down right shameful. If you stayed around to read this - I hope it helps.

    Gregor Roofing Co Inc
Everything went as expected. Prompt and excellent work. The owner Rick came with one worker, completed the job, and left our property clean. I would definitely hire Gregor Roofing for future work, and confidently refer them to friends and family.

    Noble Window & Gutter Cleaning
Fantastic job! The 12 year old siding looked brand new ( and showed that now we REALLY need to repaint the front door.). The deck looks amazing. I have scrubbed it for hours with several different products from Lowes & Home Depot and used a power washer, with little results. In less than 3 hours, Noble had my house sparkling. I will gladly use them again in the future.

    Pittsburgh Glass Block
Found representative I talked to on the phone to be arrogant and uninterested to secure my business. After saying they charged a minimum of $285 regardless of project size and possibly more for a basement window, she basically told me how lucky I would be for them to consider taking the job because other glass block companies wouldn't even come out for one small window. I was in the service business for years and totally understand minimum charges but cannot tolerate arrogance and a "take it or leave it" attitude in the front line communicator whom I would have fired in a heart beat had she worked for me. Incidentally, I mentioned that they were highly recommended and that they had just secured a several thousand job to replace windows in the building of an organization that I was a due paying member of to try and soften her attitude but honestly, she could have cared less. In the end, I called South Hills Glass Block Company to do the job. They were professional, courteous, prompt, dependable and reasonably priced not to mention finished the job in under 2 hours!

    John's Glass Block Windows
First of all, it took weeks to get an estimate. At one point, I was lied to when told by John that someone came out to work up an estimate. When he described the job I could tell he was BS'ing me because he described the wrong job. Then about two weeks later someone actually did come out and John finally called with the estimate. I told him to put me on his schedule and he said he'd get back to me. Again, weeks later I had to call him again to ask when they'd be out and again, he said he'd call me back. A week or so later John called and scheduled the work for the following Wednesday to which he later called to leave me a message that they couldn't be here on Wednesday but would definitely be that Saturday. Consequently, they never showed up or called. Since then, I've left him several messages with no response however he must apparently still be in business because his answering machine greeting says "John's Glass Block." In my opinion John's Glass Block lies, is not trustworthy, not dependable and certainly unethical. My advice to anyone considering his services is to find someone else. Total time that lapsed between my first call to the no-show was around 3 months.....what a joke!

    Buccos Roofing
It was terrible a nightmare many problems. Wires left on roof, siding small parts put on. Nails thru the roof into bedroom. Many nails left in driveway without trash container on lot till end of siding job. Trash everywhere. Worker lost parts of my outdoor light fixtures, I spent $3000 to replace with my electrician. Skylights parts lost and replaced with wrong skylight when same ones we're available. One window they damaged taking out cost me $1800 to replace. Three flat tires and got nail in my shoe and into foot because they did not clean up good. Gutters put on after 8 month are showing discoloring. Dan, the salesman pulled workers off job many times. He said siding job would take one week, it took 3 weeks. Dan admits it was his fault of this missed up job. Now they do not answer my calls. I paid for extra warranty. I guess I won't get that.

Steve, Felix, and team did an excellent job on the windows and doors! They were professional and easy to work with. Explained what they thought would go well in our house, and they were right, it looks awesome. We got rid of 7 single-paned aluminum windows and replaced them with beautiful double paned ones. The doors look great too. For the front door we selected a piece with nice glass detail and a full-length glass door for the patio. They have made the house look modern and updated. The team was professional and easy to work with. Work was completed in a timely fashion and they left the place nice & tidy. Would work with them again 100%!

    Sun-Up Construction Inc
They did a wonderful job.  We were extremely pleased. There was a little bit of appointment confusion, but it worked out. They handled it very well. They were installing them in my office and I was able to work all day without interruption.  There was no mess.  They cleaned up after themselves. The owner came out at the end of the day to check the installation.  I was very pleased.
