    St Clair Hospital
    From the moment I went into the ER, the staff was extremely rough with me. I was treated as if I was an inconvenience. Stayed overnight and got the same treatment inside the hospital itself. They had a demeanor of being riot squad. To top it all off, when my bill came in, the payment went to UPMC hospital. I chose St. Claire because I did not want to go to UPMC. Called the billing department to inquire and they were very reluctant to tell me that they were a UPMC affiliate. Bad Experience all around.

    I am extremely frustrated that UPMC seems to be the only provider in town because their customer service is horrendous. After needing to take my son to Children's Hospital at the end of March 2013, more than six months after the services, I am still fighting with UPMC Health Plan for an accurate Explanation of Benefits and for them to honor the deducible amounts listed on my insurance plan for this year. I have called UPMC Health Plan more times than I can count and every time I speak with a and quot;conciergeand quot; I need to give all details all over again. I think I have spoken with all the and quot;health care conciergesand quot; that UPMC employs! The inability to speak with anyone who can provide results is highly frustrating and discouraging. The only department I, the consumer, is permitted to contact is the concierges, but since they have little latitude to be able to resolve problems, the company seems to be an impenetrable behemoth. Furthermore, they have little regard for their consumers. In spite of my constant attempts to resolve their erroneous billing, I have needed to ask repeatedly for collection delays on my account with Children's Hospital. Because UPMC Health Plan seems to deliberately try to take the longest period possible to respond, my account with Children's has nearly gone into collections status. It was only after I demanded that someone from UPMC take ownership to speak with the billing department at Children's, that Children's agreed to place a hold on our account and quot;pending investigationand quot;. It's my credit on the line, but UPMC Health Plan's sheer disregard to expedite anything is infuriating at best. If I wasn't forced to use UPMC (because it's the only health coverage offered by my husband's employer), I wouldn't.

    I have had Aetna for several years and find it to be very good. It's not very expensive (employer pays a portion). They pay a good portion of any medical surgery I've had and my deductible isn't bad. I recommend them.

    I really like it. They're always very quick to take you in and to treat you. They're nice and kind to you. They're thorough in their examinations there and quick to get you out the door. They do the necessary treatments. They do x-ray there and whatever testing they have available. They also provide whatever medications they have available. You can get them in their small pharmacy as well. They did as much as they could to get me taken care of until I could see the next doctor I needed to see.

    They are phenomenal and were very attentive to my mother's needs. I gave them some information about my mother and they were very accepting of those needs and provided for them. They arranged trips for the patients and a family member and went above and beyond. They provided activities for the patients to do as well.

    I was very sick and needed to fill an antibiotic prescription. I did not have insurance and just had to pay for the doctor visit. I explained how nervous I was about the cost. The pharmacist was very helpful and recomended a low cost program to keep my cost as low as possible. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

    I used them because of their close proximity and quick response. I used them a few weeks ago, and they just called as there was a new prescription that was waiting for me. The previous pharmacy was slow to respond to each script from doctors. They just got too big and you had to wait in line for too long. Walgreens is a brand new building and I am new to the pharmacy, but they make it as efficient as possible. They have your credit card on the file so you can just breathe through and you can pick up your prescription which is really nice. Price wise they are competitive. When I was home nursing, my son went to get the prescription, and they asked whether he wants to use the credit card on file which meant he didn't have to do anything , he just picked up the prescription, which was very efficient. I am sure he appreciated the fact of not going through the financial end of it. This is a nice procedure.

    Canonsburg General Hospital
    I was in the emergency room at Canonsburg General Hospital not too long ago, and the staff was totally rude and incompetent. I would never ever go back there for anything. I would rather risk driving out to another hospital. They kept me there much longer than I needed to be; I was certainly the first in the emergency room and I was there till 5:30 in the morning. I am having all sorts of trouble with my bills and then I didn't have my insurance card on me that night as I had left it at home for some reason. They said that it was fine and just to call back or go up with the information. So I called the billing department about the bill and I was just getting back the same bills without my insurance discount. That's been a real hassle. The cleanliness is not bad. I went in there for sharp pains down in my side and getting light-headed. She kept telling me that my throat was burning and that I just had heart burn. I told them that my throat was not bothering me. The stuff that I was experiencing went away on itself. It comes back sometimes and I don't know what to do about it. That's why I went up there. They gave me heart burn medicine for it actually.

    I've used them for a couple of months. They were very prompt. The pharmacist gave me a $10 gift card. I really like them and they are very nice. I use their store all the time. They are great. They are very nice to work with.

    It is convenient for me. They have the prescription ready when they say they will. Sometimes if you need it earlier then they will arrange for the same. I had a lot of side effects with one of the medications and the pharmacist helped me find out the one that might possibly cause those side effects. He gave me enough time to answer my questions and that was very satisfactory. I will continue to go there.
