All Mold & Basement Services LLC
We're very happy with the work Dave and his team did! Dave is a kind, thoughtful owner of integrity who really will bend over backwards to make sure you're happy with your service. He was on the phone with me any time I needed him. His team did great work and were super helpful in explaining the process and answering any of my questions! When the job was over, there was one area I felt didn't quite measure up to expectations. I asked Dave about it and his team was out immediately to fix it. As with anything, keeping lines of communication open will lead to a great experience, but especially so with All Mold! Would absolutely hire these guys again (though I certainly hope I don't have too!!)

    American Radon Solutions Inc
We contacted ARS to have our home fixed after measuring radon levels at 4.7 pCi/L. Our situation was apparently a difficult one as the initial remediation was only partially successful in reducing radon levels. We continued to perform testing and the levels actually increased to well over 10 pCi/L. Tuan stayed in touch with us to check on the fluctuating radon levels and also made several trips back to our home to identify where the radon was entering and try to figure out the best way to lower our levels. We greatly appreciate him working with us through the initial installation, ongoing radon level monitoring and to the ultimate solution. In the end, our home required sealing of an inside basement wall that faced an above-ground addition as well as a separate ventilation fan to be installed in the crawlspace underneath the addition. Thank you for giving us peace of mind and the feeling of safety in our home.

    THE CARPENTER'S SONS
    PRO's:
    - Dan seems very honest and straightforward about potential problems in the house.
    - Dan went above and beyond to give us advice about potential entry points of water that could be causing the water and mold in the basement beyond what we asked.
    - Dan spent a lot of time patiently explaining these things to us.
    - Dan squeezed us in to an already booked schedule because of time concerns.
    - Dan did a thorough job.
    - Dan did not charge us for things he did not do or unnecessary fixes.  This is a big plus for me.
    CON's:
    - Dan did show up unannounced several times, however, I can't fault him too much for this because he was trying to fit in helping us on top of his already-packed schedule and he stopped by after working on our neighbor's house that was right nearby.
    - My wife felt the overall price could have been lower maybe through another provider.
Overall, Dan's straightforward approach, trustworthiness and quality work stand out.

    SeeMore Home Inspections
The inspector did a very thorough job and explained what he was looking at as he went. The report included photos and descriptions of things that need attention. I am happy to have hired See More, and will call them again if I buy another home.

Enviroquest - Home Inspections and Radon Service
Enviroquest was very responsive and communicated well throughout the process of installing a radon mitigation system.  They sent somebody out for an estimate and was very informative and attentive to my concerns about placement and installation.  The day of the install the two techs got the job done in half a day and were able to install it exactly where I wanted in the unfinished portion of the basement, the install looks very professional and they explained the entire system to me.  I have already recommended them to a few friends and am glad I went with them.  They were also the cheapest of the three estimates we received.  Thanks again!

Enviroquest - Home Inspections and Radon Service
Enviroquest did a house inspection for us on the above-stated date. They did such a poor job that the problems we discovered  on the roof and inside the house when we moved into the house cost us hundreds of dollars and they are likely to cost us thousands more. The main problem was the gaping hole where the chimney connected to the roof. Because of this gap apparently water had leaked to the foundation of the house (who knows for how long) and caused damages behind the walls of next to the fire place. We found out about the problem gradually, first after we hired someone who painted the house (he told us about the rotten materials he discovered behind the walls) and then when the gutter person we hired told us about the hole on the roof. The gutter person told us that "he could not believe that any inspector would miss the gap." Then we hired a roofer to fix the gap. The roofer told us that actually there were many other problems on the roof that would cost us additional thousands of dollars.
After I earned about these problems, I wrote to Enviroquest on September 23, 2014. I told them about my disappointment and asked for reimbursement for the initial part of the roof repairs, which occurred because of their incompetent inspection. (I did not even mention the thousands of dollars that we would have to pay for the rest of the repairs.) I attached copies of their inspection report, the report of the roofer, and the pictures the roofer took.  There was no response. I sent another letter to them on February 2, 2015. After this letter, the owner of the company called me and told me that they had emailed me after the first letter (maybe they did, but I did not receive, and certainly they did not send me anything in the mail) and he offered me to reimburse the amount we had paid for the inspection. I did not agree and insisted that they had to pay for the repairs on the roof instead. He told me that either he or the inspector would call me back in a few days. They never did. Instead, they sent a letter (dated February 27, 2015) rejecting all our claims and stating that they did the inspection job properly. They also insinuated that we contacted them long after the inspection and hinted that perhaps we were negligent somehow.
I want Angie's List members know about this company. If you do not mind to have an incompetent inspection done on the house you want to buy and if you do not mind wasting perhaps thousands of dollars because of a faulty inspection, Enviroquest should be your choice. I hired other house inspectors for the other houses I bought in the past and I never experienced such an incompetent inspection. I also resent that Enviroquest wanted to abuse my patience in waiting for them to response by insinuating that I was negligent and was wrongfully accusing them.

Dan Miller came by to give me some helpful and informative tips to keep mold away from my upstairs bedrooms.  He did not charge me for these services because this was technically a free estimate on work that I figured had to be done.  Work did have to be done, but he gave me the tips with the idea that I could handle it myself.  However, Carpenter's does offer a lot of other services too, so I will definitely keep their business in mind for any other services needed.  You should too!!

Enviroquest - Home Inspections and Radon Service
Ray Remsnyder showed up on time and was very thorough. We spent about 3 hours going through the house and he even took time to go over things like changing air filters and other details that a first-time home buyer would not have known. He was very kind and professional and the report was filed the next day. If I end up getting my basement fixed for the high level of radon, I will definitely use this company again!

Enviroquest - Home Inspections and Radon Service
inspection which I did The date and time was set by calling Mr. Staz at Enviroquest.   Mr. Staz arrived at the appointed time. He spent several hours doing a very thorough in depth inspection of the entire house from the attic to the cellar. It was obvious that He was an expert at what He does.. Nothing was missed from electrical to plumbing to HVAC. I was welcome to accompany Mr. Staz on the inspection and I did and it was very interesting. He has a very engaging personality.  I would recommend Mr Staz and His company to anyone.

They were in and out. They did leave the asbestos over for one night, but they were pretty quick. The price included an air sample test at the end. They were pretty quick to schedule. It was pretty easy to get on their calendar. We don't have any complaints about them.
