    KEITH A BAREFOOT CUSTOM HOMES
Keith acts as the general contractor and his crew are very easy to deal with on the kitchen project. The sub-contractors (so far) have been very good. Keith thoroughly explains what will be done - setting appropriate expectations - and listens well. His team works well together and are very professional. We had no reservation about their work or access into our home.

    COR CONSTRUCTION SVC
Cory Shover and his team were fabulous. His entire team was very courteous and provided weekly schedules to keep us informed as the project progressed or had delays. Cor Construction acted as the general contractor and directed the coordination and timing of the sub-contractors and made sure each phase was to our liking. Additionally, Cor kept our budget in mind and as potential "adders" we're realized and then provided options to minimize costs. In short, it was a great experience and we are extremely happy with the complete transformation of our home. We love it!

    ECI CONSTRUCTION
ECI Construction never responded to my communications, including a request for estimated project timelines, after I signed agreements for several projects to be completed. Furthermore, they refused to provide me with itemized costs of options so I could make an educated decisions about which options to choose.  I wanted the higher quality options, but I needed to know what the costs were, but they did not provide those numbers. The estimates were by whole job only and did not itemize each portion of the project, nor specify what materials cost compared to labor costs. Also, their estimates did not include key details, instead stating, for example, "if space allows." They said they came to the property (prior to me taking possession of it) to take measurements, but measurements were not included in the estimates, so I now question if they ever came to the property. I wanted an above-cooktop microwave installed, and the job estimate states that the microwave would be installed where the ceiling-level cabinet is now, rather than customizing the cabinet size to install the microwave at a reasonable height!  When I questioned this, I received no response for clarification, and received no further communications from them. It appears to me that they didn't want this client making decisions about their own property nor requesting specific information about the cost estimates, and they instead wanted to make all the decisions and have the client sign off on it. I would expect a contractor to make cost estimates based on exact measurements, not guess-timates, as well as allow the client to have options for renovations and have reasonable details by which to make decisions. I expect them to provide a professional level of service that will work for the client, not provide mediocre, lazy cost estimates. And I would most certainly expect a contractor to professionally, gracefully back out of doing work instead of ignoring phone calls and emails (which were professionally and respectfully written by me).

    Steve Brink Construction
first, his men did what steve brink said they would do.
second,  they cleaned up, so you'd never know anything was done.
third, the quality of the work was first rate, no problems with fan balancing or annoying sounds.
fourth, the price he charged was what he said it would be when he estimated the job...$525.
(he had purchased the ceiling fan at yale electric at a discount which he passed on to us and we paid for the fan separately at $400.)

    KOPPENHAVER BUILDING COMPANY
Ben Koppenhaver gave us the estimate in a timely manner. Helped us to decide what was the best route to take in redoing the house for a rental. He is a perfectionist with tools - there is no other way to describe him. He does it right the first time - from
what I understand, in contractors, you get what you pay for and when I hired Koppenhaver Building Company I was very smart in doing so. The company worked through the entire job with me - let me know what they needed to get the work done. I was able to go out and purchase the kitchen for myself and look for the best price for my budget in materials (lights, bathroom fixtures, appliances) - Ben guided me when I needed guidance in decisions and was always accessible for help.
This was totally enjoyable. I only wish I had more money to do another rental with them.

    Epic Building Group LLC
They were very good.  We actually had them come out, and the one we chose and him where like our two choices.  They were very professional, they did not get the job but he was our second choice.  It was like very close and it is very unfortunate that the person that we did choose was one who did some work for a personal friend and we were able to see the work and that is what made us go with the other person.  The estimate was for $70000.  They were very prompt, they communicated very well, they were knowledgeable, and actually they were our second choice.  We would have chosen him had we not had a personal referral.  Overall it was only an appraisal we actually did not work with him.  So we don’t know what is work is but his customer promptness and communication fashion was very good.

    LLOYD E GEESAMAN JR MASONRY
The sidewalks in our neighborhood were old and cracking, so our township directed they be replaced or repaired. We chose to replace as ours were in pretty bad shape (the original concrete mix was crappy and the slabs were poured over dirt (no gravel). Our neighbor hired Geesaman for his project, so we decided to go with him as well mainly so the sidewalks would match.
During our project, I had an opportunity to watch  the work of a lot of other contractors throughout the development, so I could compare timeliness, work quality and results. Geezaman runs a first class operation. Work started promptly every morning, his helpers were polite and experienced, and the quality of work was excellent and promptly completed. Surveying the different jobs in the area, our sidewalk is easily the most attractive and well poured.
He doesn't use a lot of fancy equipment, just what's needed to get the job done. Dirt was shoveled into buckets and saved for restoration, as opposed to some contractors who would just shovel it onto the grass next to the sidewalk.
Concrete work is hard work, and it was instructive to watch the care with which the concrete was poured, screeded and finished -- not that I'm ever likely to try it myself. Although it was expensive, I feel we got a first class result and I am satisfied.

    WAYNE S LESHER IV Inc
I would have Wayne live in my garage if I could. He is fantastic. He repaired and also it was a reconstruction of my bathroom. Let me put it this way, it was deconstructed and reconstructed. It’s a new bathroom. He did some interior painting as well. I will use him again, I have another work left for him so he’ll be back.

    PENNSYLVANIA REMODELERS
We have used PA Remodelers for four different projects; Two different fireplaces were refaced with mountain stone, which included custom mantles. We had a new concrete pad placed behind our house for a patio, which included rerouting a downspout, building a french drain, and dismantling a brick wall. We also had them plaster our kitchen ceiling after some remodeling, and painting. Doug Pfier has always done the initial estimates, and the workmen that performed each job were professional and very competent. We have always been very pleased with their work and price, which is why we keep going back. I don't think that there is any home addition or repair job that they could not handle.

    RUBINIC'S ELECTRICAL SVC
Excellent.  He showed up and went over what he would be doing, aksed us if we had any questions and got right to work.
