Mammogram services are available in the same building and I was able to schedule the scan prior to my doctor appointment. I have seen several doctors in the practice and they are all professional, caring and easy to talk to. I was called in for my appointment pretty close to the actual time and did not wait long once in the exam room. I was able to ask questions and get the answers I needed. The appointment went well. I have been with this practice for about 9 years and am very satisfied.

He's very conscientious and very caring. If he thinks I have something wrong, he will refer me to a specialist to make sure that everything is okay. He is a very good doctor. He is very knowledgeable about the heart. My mom is elderly and she also goes to him as well as my dad. They are pretty good about getting appointments.

Overall the appointment went well. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and explains everything to you. He has delivered one of my boys in the past and the delivery went well. If you have the time to wait to see him I would highly recommend him to anyone. Because he takes the time to explain things he tends to run behind as the day goes on so when you make your appointment get the first one of the day or the first one after lunch.

It is extremely difficult to get an appointment on short notice with a specific doctor, so I made an appointment with one of the PA's, which was fine with me. I was a bit uncomfortable with the PA being a woman; however, she was totally professional and put me at ease. The exam was fine, and she explained my problem and the options available. The was no rushing me in and out so she could move to the next patient. I appreciate the time and attention provided.

I go once every two weeks. He works with two other doctors. They have visiting nurses and hospice there. My son had an ear infection previously. He had gone to another doctor but his ear just got worse. We went and saw Dr. Yost who saw him and issued a new prescription. His ear got better the next day. My son had seen him for his tonsils and allergies too. He is very friendly and very pleasant. He sits down and explains everything. I have had no problems and would highly recommend him.

During my preoperative preparation for my surgery the staff was very uncooperative in assessing the intricacies of my insurance. The office refused to believe that I had special requirements that differed from ?the normal? lap band patients. It wasn?t until I threatened to find another surgeon (4 months into the process) that they actually called my insurance company to get the needed information. They finally realized that they made me wait over 4 unneeded months for a surgery that would have been approved immediately.
The surgery appeared to go fine, I felt my after surgery pain level was normal until it did not subside. When I called about the pain I was again told by office staff that this is normal for lap band patients. I returned to work and expected the pain to subside. Less than two weeks later (total of one month after the surgery) I had to be taken to the emergency room because of severe abdominal pain. When I left the ER I called the on call surgeon and was told to call Dr. Melniczek in the morning. I called and spoke to staff on Monday morning; I was told this is normal but that the doctor would call me. I called again in the afternoon and to advise them I hadn?t heard from the doctor, I scheduled an appointment and was told that he would surely call me today. After not receiving a call that day I called the office on Tuesday and was again assured that the doctor would call me that day. I never received a call?
I went to my appointment on Wednesday and finally got to speak to the doctor. He explained that there could be multiple reasons for the pain and that if it doesn?t subside I may need to have an additional surgery to move the port for the band that was causing the pain. I saw Dr. Melniczek one additional time before beginning to seek out a second opinion.
Throughout this process I had to have the office staff fill out and submit two insurance claims for my employer?s short term disability process. I was charged each time the office faxed paperwork. I received bills showing that they charged my insurance company several hundred dollars for each occurrence and my cost was ten dollars per. I have received three bills thus far and am expecting more from the second leave from work. I also received a email from the staff threatening me (less than a week after getting the first round of bills) that if I did not pay for the first claim process that they would not be able to give my company the forms they needed for the second claim.
The overall rating of my experience was poor not because of the pain I am in, everyone is different and can?t possibly be expected to react the same way to surgery. I am rating this business poorly because of my treatment by the doctor and the staff. I was never treated as an individual even after it was admitted (during the initial pre-op process and the excessive pain afterward) that what was occurring was out of the norm. Additionally, being held hostage for a minimal amount of money after my insurance paid tens of thousands of dollars throughout this process seems petty to me.

The doctor is only in Cranberry on Tuesdays so you have to schedule everything around that time which is a pain. I waited in the room for 45 minutes before the doctor came in. The waiting room was bare so I don't know what took her so long!

My experience with him was pretty good. He has many offices in this area. He asks questions personally before the exam. I didn?t have any problems. Some of my questions were just brushed off and so I couldn't ask any questions. He provided feedback after the exam. They were all personable and the office was fairly clean.

He is very good and is almost blunt about telling you about your condition. On my first visit he took about an hour and a half and went over everything. He ordered quite a number of tests and I was very pleased with him. He is very busy, but I have never had any problems seeing him when I needed to. He is an internist and also a cardiologist. His office is very good. I sometimes have to wait 10 or 15 minutes in his office. His staff is very friendly, responsive and efficient. Several of my friends went to him and spoke highly of him. I have decided to stay with him.

I have been going there for 7 years. My doctor that I had seen for the first 6 years left, and I recently met a new doctor that just came in, Dr. Kanda. She was very short with me and told me to talk to my primary care physician if I brought up an issue. I didn't care for her answers. In response to a problem I was telling her about she told me to "stop eating that brand of popcorn." I didn't care for her, but I loved my other doctor over the years.
