Reflexology reviews in Broomall

I went to Taiji in order to try foot reflexology. To give a brief background, this type of treatment is more than just a massage; there are pressure points on your feet that are linked to the different areas of your body. By applying pressure to these points, the practitioner can clear blocked energy and help you feel better. Did it work? Well, I certainly felt more relaxed, happy and centered after my treatment. Here's how it went:
I was a walk-in, and they were able to take me immediately upon entering. I was led to the back and asked to remove my sandals. They had padded, comfortable reclining chairs where I began my treatment with an herbal foot soak in warm water. Relaxing, quiet music played in the background. I should mention that alongside me, a man was finishing up his treatment, so you don't have absolute privacy. This didn't bother me, but I hoped I wasn't disturbing him. They cover you with blankets and warm towels, which I enjoyed since I usually feel cold.
My treatment continued with the practitioner gently massaging my legs and feet with warm oil, concentrating on the pressure points as she went. She seemed to know the parts of my feet that needed the most pressure and spent more time on these areas. She ended the treatment with a hot stone massage on my feet and legs. It felt great!
At the conclusion, I tipped my practitioner, put my shoes on and went out to pay. They have cold water for you to drink in the waiting area, which is sparsely decorated but comfortable. Overall, I would recommend Taiji if you are looking for a traditional Chinese treatment, not a spa experience.
