An antique chair needed chair needed to be re-upholstered.

Andy did a fantastic job! His work is very high quality and reasonably priced. He kept the original tacks and even put the original horsehair stuffing back in (over new padding).

Andy recovered a chair for us.

He was wonderful to work with and made good suggestions without trying to sell something we didn't need. His prices were very reasonable and competitive. He had an excellent selection of fabrics to choose from and was quick to understand and identify the type of covering we wanted. The job was completed much sooner than we anticipated and we're thrilled with the final result. We will definitely use Andy again.

We had a favorite chair and ottoman which had become rather tatty. We didn't want to toss it and so looked around for a re-upholstery job

The finish job was exquisite. They completed the job and delivered it in under two weeks. The workmanship was unbelievable. They even lined the skirting around the chair and ottoman with a fine quality, contrasting fabric. The price we thought was incredibly reasonable.

Reupholster a chair.

Just got my chair back. It had been reupholstered before but the seat was not adequately padded or else the springs were bad. It felt like sitting in a hole. Andy arrives quickly, price was fair, finished product came in early and it is spectacular. Would definitely use this service again.

An antique cherrywood platform rocker that I had refinished needed a new seating deck and back insert with new padding and upholstery.

Andy did a masterful and artistically stunning job, with a high-quality scrap of fabric he had left over (which he didn't charge me for). To my surprise and delight, he took pains to make the back of the chair look just as beautiful as the front. He and his team finished the job very promptly, earlier than I expected. The cost was almost as amazingly low as the quality and artistry were high. Andy and company clearly care about their work and take pride in it. The value for the money is extraordinary.

Reupholstering an antique spring-suspension rocking chair. Besides the upholstery, the two upholstery mounting boards were also missing — the back and the seat. I had stripped, sanded, and refinished the beautiful exposed wooden parts of the chair and wanted an upholstering job of the highest quality commensurate with the quality of the chair, but dreaded the cost.

Andy was thoroughly professional and helpful, with great suggestions. In spite of feeling certain he would do a good job, my expectations were greatly exceeded. It was not just a good job but a spectacular job! The amount of concern for detail and high quality is pretty incredible. One thing that surprised me is that the chair looks just as amazing from the back as it does from the front. The upholstery is a work of art and consummate craft, but it doesn't overshadow the underlying fine carpentry and beautiful wood. It all works together to make a piece I'm very proud of. The workmanship also looks to me to have been done with long-term durability, as well as beauty, as a goal. And, in spite of the quality and workmanship, and the time it must have taken to produce such a terrific result, Andy's price was considerably lower than I had anticipated. He found a big enough piece of upholstery in his leftovers stash that I really liked and didn't even charge me for the material. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, and the turnaround time was more than reasonable.

Reupholster and complete overhaul of antique couch with new padding and springs

I found Andy on this site and could not have been happier. The quality of his work and attention to detail is exceptional. He reupholstered an antique couch (and a chair previously) , including replacing the interior padding and springs, and aligned and centered the pattern perfectly. I had chosen an expensive fabric, which was 1/3 of the cost. The cost of his labor is competitive and reasonable, and he is a pleasure to work with. He will not request final payment until he knows you are satisfied, and he does what he says he will do, with honesty and integrity.

Reupholstered my living room sofa.

My research indicated that his price for the job was competitive. I was able to find the material for the couch at his shop and I couldn't have found a better fit for my living room. It suits my decor perfectly. The job that he did is exquisite. People never fail to compliment me on the quality of the work and the new look of my sofa. He was professional in every way. Frankly, I dreaded living with the "hole" in my living room while the sofa was being worked on, but he did such a fast job that I never missed it. I was pleased that he did not take the sofa away until he could work on it. In this way it did not sit in line in his shop until he was ready to work on it. He deserves an A+ for quality of work and over all professionalism.
