5 Tips to Get the Best Tree Service

Tree Service reviews in Bridgeville

    Horhut Tree Experts
I had 2 flowering pear trees that I needed to get cut down. I had one quote already from one service but wanted to get a quote for another. I checked with 6 different places and Horhut Tree Experts were the only one to respond for a request for quote. They got a price back to me fairly quickly and were very competitive in their price. I had also read the many positive reviews already made and was impressed so I immediately gave them the job. Given the weather conditions, it did take some time to get me on their schedule but when they came they were on time and made a quick work of bringing both trees down. They also did a great job in the stump removal. They also accomodated some additional things I asked them for - getting rid on a large branch from a tree not quoted and grinding the stump of a smaller tree I had cut down before. For a very minor additional charge, they got that taken care of too. I'm very happy with their work and would highly recommend them! No complaints whatsoever.

    Sidelines Tree Service LLC
We have had Sidelines on two occasions to remove trees and brush from a hillside on our property. The gentleman who came to give the estimate made a thorough examination of the job site, clear identification of what had to be done, and gave an immediate and reasonable quote with a discount for accepting the proposal at that time. When the crew came, they approached the two jobs safely and efficiently, taking care not to damage neighboring fencing which was close to one of the trees. They cleaned up all of the debris including a massive amount of vines that were attached to the trees. The job was done exactly as we had hoped, We recommend them highly.

Jim replied promptly to my request for an estimate, worked with my schedule, came in with a great bid and performed the work as required when he said he would do it. He also serviced to of my neighbors at the same time with work they needed. I would highly recommend this business and will use them again.

    Hellmann's Tree Service
Great! Ray came to do an estimate within a day or two of my call. He came to complete the work within a week, and ended up charging me less than the original estimate. He and his team were very friendly, and so quick. They were done in less than an hour!

    Bruzzese Landscape and Walls

Over the course of the last 24 months or so, we have called on Bruzzese Landscape and Walls for a multitude of projects.  Tony and his crew have proven to be reliable, punctual, and effective.  Tony shows great flexibility in helping to design ideas and then providing for the execution to see them through completion.

Beyond the execution, if there was one point I'd like to share about this company, it is that Tony ALWAYS answered the phone AFTER the project was complete and promptly returned when requested to provide any after-project maintenance or touch up needed.  He NEVER disappeared after the check was cashed, which has been our experience with so many other providers.

I'm not one to write many reviews or recommendations, but I'm very glad to offer positive remarks and my highest recommendation  for Bruzzese Landscape and Walls.

    Aerial Arborist Tree Service
I called Doug and he came by within hours to give me an estimate for cleaning up a large tree in our front yard, which was growing over the house and had some unhealthy limbs. He was friendly and professional and really seems to know his stuff.  He did a wonderful job with the tree.  It looks great and I doubt I will have to worry about it again for some time.  Customer service and the well-being of the trees are clearly top priorities for Doug.  I would absolutely recommend his services if you want good looking results and healthy trees.

    Zingrone Landscaping
He was looking at the overall tree to make sure it balanced out. He did a really good job .  It was a Japanese red maple tree that had just got out of hand. He also trimmed another tree as well. Took him about 2 hours to complete. I highly recommend them.

    Aerial Arborist Tree Service
Doug and his staff were excellent. They were punctual, courteous, and explained everything that was going to happen that day. We had 6 trees removed and 1 bush cut, as well as health trims on several trees. They did an excellent job on cleaning up our yard and the street of debris. We would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to neighbors/family!

    Tree Walkers Tree Service
Asked for 1/2 the money up front, which should have been a red flag. On the day of the scheduled work Gary and his crew didn't show up, didn't call, and didn't answer his phone. 3 days later he called me with an excuse and rescheduled the job.  Gary and crew did show up on the rescheduled date and removed the trees but did not take care of the stumps as agreed upon. Gary said that he would be back the following week with a stump grinder to remove the stumps. Did not show up, did not call me to reschedule. I called Gary and rescheduled two more times, but he did not show up either time and did not call to cancel.  Finally Gary told me that he was finishing up several tree removal jobs & then would go and remove the stumps from all of those jobes over the course of the same weekend.  Gary never followed up to schedule the stump removal and never returned any of my multiple calls.  Ultimately I had to hire another service to remove the stumps.  Overall, Gary was completely unreliable and unprofessional.

    Aerial Arborist Tree Service
Doug came out not once but twice to do a consultation to ensure that he, we, and our neighbor were all on the same sheet of music for what needed to be done.  The removal of the 3 trees over our neighbor's house was unusually complex since all the trees were on a steep 10' hillside, and 2 trees had intertwined limbs.  In addition, we have a significant downward hill/slope in our backyards.  In spite of these challenges and the extra work involved, these guys did an outstanding job!
I give them an A+ in the 5 important "P's" of doing business.  They are:
Professional--returned phone calls and e-mails and clearly stated business terms up front
Personable--very easy to talk to and expressed concerned about our property
Punctual--Doug showed up when he said he would for the 2 consultations and the day of the job
Precise in handling an intricate job with great care and attention to detail
Priced well--we had 2 other companies assess our job so we knew that Doug's pricing was excellent for the quality of work
In addition, we never heard of the Emerald Ash Borer, an evil insect that is decimating tens of millions of ash trees in our country.  Doug took time during one of the consultations to point out several ash trees on our property that are dying from this insect.  We are very appreciative for him sharing his knowledge about this problem and for giving us guidance in maintaining several other trees on our property.
