    Gingerly Packed
Wendy's packing service was EXACTLY what I needed as I prepared to relocate cross-country. I needed help with packing up my kitchen, china cabinet and buffet. Wendy spent 5 hours packing everything into 14 boxes and provided me with a detailed inventory of each box. I know that when it comes time to unpack in my new home, I'll be able to prioritize these boxes and find what I need, when I need it. Wendy brought the care and attention to packing my wares as if she was packing her own possessions versus viewing this as just a job to be completed quickly.

They didn't label any of the boxes. I had clothing in my basement and my living area. The clothes from the basement could have just gone in to the storage shed. It's not clear which cloths are which because they didn't label them. They also didn't pack the clothing in wardrobe boxes.

    EverSafe Moving Co
I got the movers name from Angie's list which gave them a high rating. The movers arrived at the time they said they would and were very efficient and well organized. They were careful in wrapping all of the furniture in blankets followed by shrink wrapping. There were a few minor dings on wall surfaces and a few  scratches on the ends of furniture legs which missed the wrapping process. We have been moved several times in the past by other professional movers and Ever Safe was among the best.

    College Hunks Hauling Junk
Their on-line estimate and reservation system made it very easy to set up the appointment.  They arrived on time and reviewed the items to be removed, gave me the estimated cost and proceeded to get the job done.  They were very careful when removing the items and made sure they swept the areas clean after the job was completed.  The "college hunks" were very professional and respectful.  I would definitely use this service again and would recommend to others.

They did an awesome job! We moved every other year for the past 10 years, so I know what I am talking about. Mr. Bonitatibus came before for an estimate. He wasn't my cheapest estimate but he gave very honest answers about what to expect and what not. I know that reassembling and assembling of some of my furnitures isn't easy and they just wrapped it up without damaging anything.
The crew came in time, were super friendly, worked very hard, handled our stuff with care  and were done so fast like no other company before. The final  price was even a bit less than the estimate because the crew worked to fast.
     Thanks again!

    CHAZ & CREW
The move went so smoothly, it was much quicker than I thought!  They picked up my boxes and furniture from an apartment in Phila. and took some to a house in Montgomery County and the rest to a storage unit, so there was separating of boxes, bins, etc.  They were GREAT!  No issues at all.

They did an excellent job. They went above and beyond, they were enjoyable to work with, very accommodating, and did a perfect job. They came to give us a quote and they were the only ones that came with references and gave us information plus they were willing to rent boxes.

    Aloha Movers & Storage
They arrived later than expected on all 3 days.  In all fairness, the weather was lousy on one day (it snowed).  However, they left during rush hour in inclement weather and proceeded to complain constantly about the traffic (as if they were surprised).
The packing was substandard.  I've had movers pack for me before and at least some of the crew did not know what they were doing.  Some things were under packed - like a receiver that was dumped on its face without any packing around it.  Other things were oddly packed - like dishes that were wrapped in paper and then tape run completely around the object multiple times.
They did nothing to protect the carpets and they were a mess by the time they left.  They did send someone over a few days later to clean the carpets, so that situation was addressed.
I had to specifically request they  use wardrobe boxes.  Before I caught it, they had packed one closet by taking everything off the hangers and stuffing it in a box - no, not folded neatly, stuffed.
At the house, one of the crew used paper towels in the toilet and stopped it up.  I discovered the problem on my own and the crew member was told to clear it with a plunger.  After they left, I discovered it was still a mess.  I was told to call a plumber and they would reimburse me.  The plumber cleared it and sent a bill which I paid.  The reimbursement from Aloha is still an outstanding issue.
There was one picture with cracked glass.  I was told they would send someone to pick it up and repair it.  I finally took it to be repaired and sent them a bill - no response.
The receiver that was damaged does not work and I have notified them of that fact.   I have asked for a modest reimbursement for the damage and this is an outstanding issue.
I foolishly paid their bill when they left on the 3rd night.  It was late and I was not thinking clearly.  I should have withheld money until everything was taken care of.
They did come back a couple days after the move and move a couple things into place that needed to be moved.  Specifically, the BBQ was left in the middle of the garage, a bench in the front on the planting bed and a dresser was 4" from the wall.  These were things I'd asked about during the move and was told they would move later.  Then it got late and I did not notice them before they left.  I appreciate the fact that they came over and took care of those items.
I have emailed and called Aloha repeatedly.  They responded that they would be sending a check and later emailed to verify the address, but after repeated follow up emails no check came, no further emails and no responses to phone call messages.

They threw everything in big boxes without any organizations.  They charged me $500 more than they quoted.  They did work hard, and there were a lot of things there.  However, there was a lot of disorganization, and they just threw things around.  They are very young and inexperienced.

    Bekins of South Florida
I originally selected Bekins of S. Florida from Angie'sList. Now I will tell my story. I would give the corporate offices of Bekins and their merger partner Wheaton a D. I would rate their working force an A! Why the discrepancy, my tale begins. On the positive side, the actual movers were polite, careful and performed well. Everything arrived safely but not on time and with much aggravation. It all started with our relocation consultant, really a salesman. He came in and overestimated our load by 5300 lbs.( 17437 lbs vs. actual 12100 lbs.), probably to inflate his commission. Over the next week, the man lied repeatedly! He never checked in to make sure that everything was going well and was not interested in our welfare. He promised 1 large truck and we instead got two smaller trucks. The first one arrived on time and the first driver was an asset to the company and a true gentleman. The second truck which was only partially loaded headed to their warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale. The load sat , picked up more loads and headed North, eventually arriving 6 days late! The only time we heard from the " relocation consultant" was to defend himself and he was extremely rude. At this point in my review, I need to warn all of your clients to heed the tenet of " buyer beware".Bekins has a contract that is binding and is based on estimated weight, not actual weight. In retrospect, we did not fully understand the contract and we foolishly trusted the salesman and Bekins, a huge mistake!! The drivers confirmed the large discrepancy in tonnage. Even the Wheaton corporate office confirmed the same discrepancy. Instead of apologizing, the office maintained that we had signed a binding contract. Next they admitted that the contract stated a delivery of 1/17/13 and 1/18/13. Since they also had breached their own contract, they wanted to appease us with what they considered a generous penalty of $600. I next consulted an attorney who advised us that Bekins and Wheaton had us over a barrel! If we did not pay them, they would not deliver the second truck. He stated that we were theoretically correct that the contract was no longer binding because both parties had breached it. Also, since our damages were less than $2000, contesting the problem in small claims court would not make financial sense. What we are left with is a bitter and unpleasant memory. If the corporate office had been apologetic and had admitted their faults, we probably would have been satisfied! I end the review again with "let the buyer beware"!
