Carpet Installation reviews in Blue Bell

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Rich and team were extremely professional and thorough. At the consultation Rich walked us through the product offerings and had we appreciated his no-nonsense approach after having been through several other carpet consultations where we felt like the sales people were just trying to sell us versus trying to find a product to fit our needs. Rich also worked with our tight timeline to get our carpet installed prior to us moving into our new place. On the day of installation he and his team arrived on time and completed the job ahead of schedule and did a great job. It's been 4 months since the install and we are still super happy with the product and the quality of the installation. Thanks Rich!!

  • I made a quick decision on this rugs based on Angie's List rating of the company and because I wanted them installed before I move into my new home. Was told that the rugs were in the warehouse and could probably meet my date. Then there was problems with warehouse so installed two weeks after my move.

I should say that these rugs were the most expensive I have ever purchased.

They came on time, looked around and then went back to the warehouse to cut the carpet. The first day they installed rugs in the smaller bedroom and hallway. When they came back for the second day I told the installers that the bedroom had a very noticeable seam and the hall had three seams plus one seam was a bump and that I was very unhappy with the results. They did the larger bedroom and stairs that day and I'm very happy with both of them. They told me to wait for a few weeks to see if the seams disappear.

They didn't so I called he owner and he came right out and looked at the seams but said everything was done correctly so there's nothing he will do for me. Gave me all kinds of excuses as to why one room looks great and the other doesn't but bottom line he wouldn't fix them.

Oh yes, they also knock a hole in the wall when carrying the carpet upstairs. He came out right away to fix it but knows nothing about spackling a wall so I've had to fix what he did.

  • R&N did a terrific job removing extensive bubbling in several rooms in my house.  They stretched the carpet, removed extra material, and made it look better than it has in years.  When new problem areas were discovered, they came back and fixed them immediately.  In addition, they installed new carpet in the family room of the house.  Rob worked during his vacation to ensure that the carpet was ordered and arrived in time to meet a very tight deadline.  His customer service is excellent and he clearly cares about the work that he does.

I highly recommend R&N for any carpet needs that you have.

  • I found Millenium Remodeling and owner, Kip Poust here on Angie's list and definitely glad I called him!   Kip is extremely responsive, professional and easy to work with.   Our job was a big one covering pretty much every aspect of our rental home that we wanted to get quickly turned around and ready to sell.  Here are some of the important factors why we chose Kip and will work with him again:

-He provided a thorough proposal that met our timelines and budget very quickly after our first meeting
-He initially seemed very trustworthy in that he was candid about things we should definitely do and other things he didn't think were worth the spend.  That trust only continued to grow throughout the project
-He's a problem solver, always looking for an efficient and effective solution for problems or questions that come up along the way
-He will take the lead as much as you want in recommending products for the job (appliances, carpet etc. always looking at cost/value equation)
-He has a great team employed who were all very respectful, hard working and pleasant to have around
-He is a very effective and frequent communicator!  This is hard to come by in this industry I think and Kip was often the one touching base with me about how things were going, thinking about next steps etc. -- love this!!

I definitely will....and already am working with Kip again on other projects at the home we live in!

  • It was a great experience working with Rich.  He is a nice person and isn't pushy and is very honest.  We had the carpet installed in a condo that we are putting up for sale.  He was prompt and knowledgeable and very interested in pleasing his customers.  He and his nephew did a great job and it only took 1 1/2 hrs.  I went with a slightly upgraded carpet because I just wanted the property to look really good so didn't go with builders grade.  It was not that much more expense.  We plan on having carpeting installed in our house and will definitely be calling Rich to do the job.

  • They had a lot of in stock options for us to look at. They also had a children's room so we could shop. They accommodated to us nicely and had to come back out twice to do the work and there was a crew of 2 people. We are very satisfied with the results of the carpet.

  • They were very good in helping us select an appropriate style of carpet for this job. They have the best reputation in the area for carpet selection, installation, and repair. They appeared when scheduled and did an excellent job of installation, fixing a bedroom carpet for free. The prices they charge are fair.

  • My experience with Home Depot was fantastic. They were very prompt and they even explained to us what time of the year is best to lay the carpets. They were really nice. They were able to get the measurements, they were able to get back to me and install the carpets within a few weeks. And they had a special where they had a flat rate for the entire house for the install. We pulled out the carpets ourselves and they told us what we need to leave behind, tacking strips, and if any tacking strips were needed they would replace them for free.

  • I never even got as far as the estimate because the whole process was so slow. I got a quote from Home Depot almost a week before I got a quote from them. Their price per sq.ft wasn't as competitive as Home Depot's.

  • I decided to go with Valley Forge after reading their glowing reviews here (and after Lowe's was a complete nightmare just to talk to someone about installing). Aimee was fabulous! We called two weeks before we needed carpet installed, and she bent over backwards to make it work. She moved around their schedule and worked with us to make sure the job got done. As an aside, they ended up being about $600 cheaper than Lowe's would have been.
They were prompt with arrival, and they worked quickly. The carpet was installed extremely well--very tight and you can't see any seams. They did a great job on the stairs, which needed to be cut around banister spokes and folded under the edge of stairs that opened to the room.
The only small negative was that their vacuum broke in the middle of the first day of install (they broke it into two days of installation because of our schedule). They used our shopvac, which was fine. But then they arrived after the weekend without a new vacuum and asked for our shopvac again. This wasn't a big deal but our vacuum wasn't great, and there were still a lot of fibers on the carpet.
Aside from this small complaint, they were fabulous and we have recommended them to many of our friends and family. I intentionally waited a month before writing this review to make sure the carpet and install held up to some wear and tear...and it definitely does!
