    Dryer leaving marks on clothes���technician came out...said it���s not the dryer, it���s the washer (day 1). Took it upon myself to inspect each article of clothing after coming out of washer and before going in dryer, turns out it was what we originally thought���dryer leaving marks on clothes. Called company to report misdiagnosis; they begrudgingly agreed to have someone else look���cancelled that appointment the morning of (day 2). Technician came the next day...said it is the dryer and ordered parts (day 3). Parts arrived a week later/scheduled repair���guy came out and said something needed wasn���t ordered (day 4)���can���t repair today. (Day 5)���technician comes and reports an entirely new diagnosis, saying we need a new dryer and ordered parts won���t fix the problem. Company tried to CHARGE for this visit! That���s FIVE days, which went on for weeks, of giving us the run around. Extremely difficult to work with...unreliable service. I���ve never left a review of anything before but felt compelled to with Appliances Unlimited. We paid for the initial diagnostic visit.

    We had a wonderful experience with Appliance Repair Service. Our technician was polite, thorough, and neat. He diagnosed the issue with our fridge very quickly and was able to fix the problem. We would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend them to others. The company has amazing customer service and it was honestly a pleasure to work with them.

    Fred was able to "untangle" what seemdm like a complex problem and then showed me not only the problem but how he had resolved it and how I should scan and e-mail material in the future. It took several hours. I was impressed with Fred. He looks and acted like a professional. I definitely would use him or some one from his group again to fix my computer problems.. It is not easy to find good, reliable computer "fixers".

    I have been using them for the last 3 years. There are a number of weeks I have had to call for missing items. I have 3 items missing for almost 1 month. $700 in missing items. They brought 3 items to my house (other customers) on 6/13, today (6/20) they brought over 20 items that were not mine, still missing my items.

    I have been using them about 6 months, because we just bought the house last year. I think its about $30 per months. They always pick up our trash on time. They bring the trash can back, and the recyclable is always put upside down so it is not collecting water. Previously they don't have the extra service, they just pick up the trash and leave it where ever. I think they are doing pretty good. I really have no complaints. I didn't really shop around but I think their price is good for the neighborhood. I have never really contacted them for anything.

    Was away when the work was done, but when we returned you would never know they were there - except for the new roof. There appeared to be a leak which I assumed was caused by the new roof. When they returned to inspect they found that another part of the roof which they were not responsible for was the culprit. They did a minor fix - w/o charge and the problem has not occurred again. Awesome.

    John was incredible to work with and the design and final product was exactly what we were looking for. This was a job that required some creativity to allow for back cushions and seat cushions while also allowing the wood from the bench seats to still accent the upholstery. John's passion for the design and his business in general was clear through his excitement each time we met with him. We are so pleased with the final product and happy that we now have a go-to person for all of our custom upholstery needs. Thanks to John and his team!

    I purchased a deal through Angie's List that was for $79 for Roof, Siding, and Gutter Maintenance. The provider came out and stated that they did the work. Afterwards, I went up on the roof and noticed that there were many holes and nails that had not be sealed or corrected. I had an electrician come out that needed to do work on the roof. I went and purchased the necessary supplies to seal the roof and the electrician completed the work that Tycos should have done.

    Steve and crew did a very nice job. It was a big job that took about 3 weeks. He is old school and has 1 crew with several family members. He found a number of issues that he were fixed prior to installation. Although scheduling was a little tough, once they got started they stayed until completion. Very pleased with end result and would recommend him to others.

    O?Brien?s Moving and Storage

    Missing Jewelry!!!









    My wife and I hired O?Brien?s Moving and Storage (associated with Allied Van Lines) for a local move in suburban Philadelphia.  Their salesman came, was terrific, and gave us an estimate which seemed very reasonable. 

    On moving day, two trucks with 5 movers arrived on time and began to pack up our house.  The movers were a little rough around the edges but seemed like good guys.  At their request, we bought them breakfast about 10 am.  The move was slower than we expected and, after a call to our salesman, they sent two additional movers to speed things up.  The movers were a bit forward, asking for pieces of furniture that they liked and hinting that we should pay for lunch as well.  One repeatedly reminded me that it was, ?Big Tip Wednesday?.  They also advised me that when they unloaded, they worked better with beer.  After multiple, not so subtle hints, I went out and purchased a 30 pack of beer for them.  The total job took about two hours longer than estimated and cost me an additional $500.  I also tipped them $500.  Then they asked for beers for the road and took the rest of the 30 pack as they drove off in Allied Vans.

    The next morning, my wife looked for some jewelry (about $13,000 in rings) that she had, mistakenly, left in a dresser.  It was gone.  We looked all through the dresser, the house, called the company, and then the Police. 

    Other than my family, the only people with access to that dresser were the employees of O?Brien?s Moving and Storage.  After many phone calls, a supervisor called me back and advised me that we should not have left the jewelry in the dresser and that, based on the insurance by weight; we would likely be reimbursed a dollar or two.  They did not seem very concerned at all. 

    Do not trust this company.   The initial professional estimate and sales pitch is a façade.  The actual moving experience is not good.   It was a mistake to leave that jewelry in the dresser and a bigger mistake to hire O?Brien?s Moving and Storage.  It?s hard to believe that a large company like Allied Van Lines associates themselves with these people.
