    RM Outdoor Living, LLC
I will be brief.    RM Outdoor Living did an outstanding job - well beyond my initial expectations ( which were high ).   Our driveway spans a creek with a  stone bridge whose foundation had been slowly eroding  since we purchased our house in 1981.   In addition, one of the buttresses had collapsed and the other was possibly on the verge of doing the same.   I became increasingly concerned and this year it deteriorated beyond what I was able to tolerate.   Robert ( owner of RMOL ) came out to give an estimate.    We discussed the situation and he formulated a plan which I considered sound and affordable, so I hired him to do the job.    Because of his tight schedule he could not begin for a few months.   Meanwhile, I had noticed a bad review on Angie's List and became a little concerned.  Thankfully, I didn't put too much credence in that review since the scope of jobs differed and RM's plan seemed to be what I needed ( and, quite frankly, I couldn't find anyone else willing or able to do the job in an affordable or  timely manner ).    To my surprise, the plan we discussed and the finished product seemed to differ in my favor.   I had hoped only for reinforcements so the bridge would not collapse.   What I got was not only substantial reinforcements but ones which seemed part of the original bridge.  They had  replaced the damaged buttress and reinforced the other.   The fix completely blended with the original structure.    I could not be more delighted.   In fact, I couldn't wait to show and tell everyone I knew about our new bridge.
After worrying all these years, I am now convinced that our bridge will outlast anything else on our property, conceivably even our house.   Thank you RM for a job well done.

The steps of our front porch were separating and sinking. I had used Carl in the past and waited for him to become available to take care of this problem.  At first he thought that the one step could be rebuilt but after removing it, we discovered that there was not much supporting the entire porch.  The entire thing had to be removed and replaced.  Carl and his crew did a fantastic job.
He carefully removed the two pillars on the porch, He poured a solid cement footing, with rebar, and then rebuilt the entire porch with new brick.  I was concerned about using new brick because there is a lot of older,  antiqued brick in other areas outside but Carl had a great suggestion about using  Vermont waterstruck brick that looked old and blended perfectly with the existing bricks. He made the mortar look old too. You would never know that it was all new.
Every day the site was cleaned up and protected and the crew was very careful of our property.  I will always hire Carl to take care of our masonry issues.

    CORNERSTONE STUCCO INC
Corner Stone:  Do not do business with this company under
any circumstance their work falls apart and they refuse to stand by it.  We had a costly extensive stucco repair done
to a chimney in July 2013.  The following
winter a major portion of the repair fell apart.  Photographs were taken and sent to Corner
Stone requesting that they inspect the area.
They answered an email to this end with multiple excuses but refused to
inspect the area.  The photographs of the
original damage were reviewed and confirmed that the new area was in the identical
place of their repair.  An insurance
inspector visited the property and confirmed in writing that the new area was a
result of the prior repair falling apart.
All of this information including photos of the original damage and
current problem were transmitted by email to Corner Stone requesting that they
return and fix their defective repair. Multiple emails were sent to this end
and all of them were ignored.

We were negotiating an agreement of sale on a new house and needed an estimate for rebuilding the front porch and steps.  We spoke on the phone and I explained that we needed the estimate as part of our negotiations and inspections and that I had a deadline by which I needed the estimate. He said he could do it within the next couple of days, which was fine, and he would get the estimate to me before my deadline. We told the Sellers to expect him within two days.  He never showed up and never called to say he couldn't make it after all.  Not reliable at all !!!!

We have used this company several times for projects at our house and have never been disappointed.  Carl and his work crew are very professional.  They arrive on time, review the work to be done, complete the job as described and in the timeframe promised.  Carl follows up with us periodically during the job to ensure that we are happy with the work and have no questions or concerns.  I wouldn't think of having anyone else do masonry work for us

I contacted the company, they came out for an estimate, and performed the work exactly as communicated, on time and on budget.  The job was done perfectly, the immediate area was left as clean as it was before they arrived, and I was very pleased with their service.

    R & J Landscaping LLC
Ryan Donnelly responded promptly, did the work in the time he committed, and for the agreed price.  There was a very strong rain storm the day after the mulch was put down, and it washed away.  He came back out and re-spread new mulch (I had to pay for mulch and labor, but that is fair, and he came straight away).  Two of the shrubs are dying, but that is my fault for not watering them during these very dry conditions!  He even put down several additional plants for free, trimmed up some of the trees, and cleaned out part of my gutters!  I am really happy with team members' professionalism as well. I will use R & J for some additional work.

The job was professional. Chris and his helpers worked through some really hot August days, but they finished on time and completed the work at the estimated cost. When the grade outside the house was raised, it brought the ground level up to the (low) vent opening for our clothes dryer. Chris sealed that opening and cut a new hole for the dryer, higher on the basement wall. It was then that I mentioned that the washer and dryer were in the wrong positions and needed to be switched (washer where the dryer was, and vice versa). Chris moved them while he was giving us a new vent opening for the dryer. The day after they applied the water barrier to the foundation, we had a day-long downpour. The trench was still open and it had a lot of water in it, but we had a dry basement floor!

We were very pleased with them. They are excellent. They are very competent. He was a very pleasant guy to deal with. He did what he said he was going to do and he did it well. He is a little on the high side as far as price, but I would use him again because I think it is worth it.
