    Whitaker Roofing & Siding Inc
I received a recommendation from my neighbor last summer regarding the excellent work Whitaker had done when roofing her house.  In the fall I obtained three bids for roof replacement on my home.  Based on my neighbor's recommendation, on line reviews of the three contractors, and final evaluation of the proposals and pricing received from the bidders, Whitaker was my preferred choice.  Due to a large amount of roofing work in the fall of 2015 as a result of local hail damage, I requested that my roof replacement would be performed in the spring of 2016 when the weather was warm so the roof would seal properly.  Whitaker agreed to hold the price firm through the spring.
On April 14th, Doug and his crew arrived promptly at my home in the early morning, and laid plywood on my driveway to prevent any possibility of damage by heavy equipment.  The crew size was very good, everyone knew their jobs, and everyone was very professional and continuously working.  By the end of the day I had an excellent new roof, all debris and nails were cleaned up, and you would not be able to detect that any work had been done that day...except for the beautiful new roof.  Also, there was no damage to any of my shrubbery.  After the crew had left, Doug remained behind and answered any final questions I had regarding the project.
Everything considered, I was very impressed and happy with Whitaker Roofing, Doug and his crew, and the quality and price of the work performed.  Carol and the office staff were courteous and professional in answering any questions I had.  I will certainly hire Whitaker for any future roofing work I need, and I will highly recommend Whitaker Roofing to my neighbors and friends.

Although I had to wait slightly over 6 weeks, it was well worth the wait. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and neatness of the worker/s. Dan was on site every day working or to check on progress. My patio was attached to the back of the house and had a simple shed type roof with angled screened openings. Dan had all the openings squared off and made the patio look much more like a room. The screen doors were installed perfectly. I don't know how Dan did it, but the paint color around the window openings matched the original color perfectly. And, the siding put along the bottom of the patio matched the house siding exactly. All in all it was an absolutely perfect remodel of my patio. Thanks Dan for the great work.

I couldn't be happier with the work done. Tim and Joe arrived each morning when they said they would. Cleaned up after themselves. Were polite and offered great advice. Got the job done in one week. Would recommend them highly!!!

They built an external patio structure for us, a covered patio structure. They are fantastic, I would recommend them highly to anyone. They were very professional, very conscientious of our time and our communication requests. They were very attentive. Although they were not inexpensive, the service was great for the cost. I would recommend their attention to quality. We had some issues with some of the things they did they have worked to correct those at no additional cost to us and also to make sure they are correct before they are done working with us. They were very good about making sure the things were done and they were done right and they weren't finished until they were done right.

    BETTERLIVING
The project was easy enough to plan and work out with Lehigh Patio Room. The price was initially relativvely high, but they dropped it significantly saying they had the latitude to do it on a limited number of jobs as a promotional offer.
Once they started they "finished" in a reasonably short time.  However there are still unresolved issues.
Our house has aluminum siding. The installers cut a window in the siding to attach the roof beam, and just caulked the gap. Ad since they used pure silicone caulk I could not paint it to match the sidingwithout first re-caulking with a paintable caulk. They flashed along the siding in other areas, but not there. I requested a scrap piece of flashing, to do it myself, but never got any.
They told me all the wiring would be hidden, but then ran the wiring to the fan using wiremold. If I had known they were going to do that (supposedly due to township restrictions), I would have explored other options.
My biggest frustration is with the finishing of the exterior right at the roofline. The roof beam along the peak is rectangular. The roof panels frame into it on each side of the beam, so that there is a flat spot on the peak of the roof. The facia pieces are flat aluminum, that come together in front of the beam. However they should come to a point, an inch or so below the top of the beam, leaving a "significant" gap under shingles covering the roof beam. Further, the facia boards do not even butt together- the installer left a vertical gap about 1/2" wide between the two sloped pieces. I will have to flash both areas myself.
I complained to the Better Living Company itself, at least twice, about the lack of response from the installer (who kept promising to fix the flashing but never came back to do the work). I have come to the conclusion that whatever warranty I got is unenforceable.
I would not use them again, or believe anything they promise. Unfortunately I did not see the outside problem until well after we paid them (I only saw it when I was on a ladder moving some loose weatherstripping back in place). I also would not buy anything from Better Living, even with a different installer.
    Buyer beware.,

Work was done in a timely fashion. Workmanship was excellent. I was kept informed as to starting and finish dates. Have received compliments from family and neighbors. They have a good reputation with the building inspector and no problems were encountered. Would recomend highly to others

Upon order, we were informed that they were extremely busy and it might take some time for the installers to do the work. It took some time before they arrived but it was well worth the wait. They had a difficult time digging down to lay the foundation. There is a lot of clay and stone in our soil that makes it tough on anyone who tries to penetrate it. I am a gardener and know how I struggle working the soil before planting season. Two men worked several days preparing the ground for the foundation while a 3rd man, supervised and measured the area. After the foundation was complete, inspection was necessary. Being anxious for this room to be completed, we grew impatient while waiting for the inspector. Once again, it was worth the wait. The walls and ceiling went up, floor was layed, electric outlets and ceiling fan installed. The installers worked as a team and cleaned up after themselves. They behaved in a professional manner, were courteous and respectful. Overall, everything went very well. We are delighted to be the end user of this beautiful, bright and airy room. The installers were competent and skilled.

    CPM CONSTRUCTION
Before he completed the work he wanted to charge me $400 to obtain a permit. He said I had to pay for his insurance as well. I gave him $200 dollars. He said that I should pay the additional $200 and if I didn't it would not be good for me. I wrote him out the check omitting the additional $200. He told his crew not to finish the job and he just left. He won't return my calls, I have even written him a letter and still no response. He got so angry with me because I didn't give him the extra $200. I also had to pay $1,000 dollars to hire a guy to write up plans for Mr. Pineda's job. Mr. Pineda was sloppy and unprofessional. His materials were all over the lawn and the mess was ruining the grass. When asked to move some of his materials he cursed at the landscaper. When the inspector came for the final inspection, the inspector told him he needed to install hurricane clips. Mr. Pineda made me pay for the clips. I feel he should have included this since I had already paid him over $10,000 dollars. They used my guest bathroom downstairs and took my monogrammed towels, they disrespected my property greatly. One guy had hay fever and threw his used tissues in the yard. This guy has no idea what he is doing and is by far the worst contractor I have ever encountered.
