  This was a very awful and stressful experience. Most of the time they never showed up or called. There were times they called and said they would be late and never show. My dad could not move when he woke up and would be lying in this urine.. Family members would be called on to help.. After 3 days of no phone call and no show, I had to start interviewing other agencies for my dad. To this day, 2/1/15 I didn't cancel them or break the contract because the newly hired agency doesn't start till 2/4/15.. AMS knows I'm dissatisfied with them so stopped the aids from coming anyway. Tears filled our eyes seeing my dad laying there, wet and immobile. It was so pitiful and broke our hearts. It would take 2 or 3 of us to get him up.. My dad served his country for our freedom and because of his wounds he always walked with a limp. He wasn't expected to walk by age 40. Is this the kind of help that is out there for our veterans? It makes me sick to my stomach. Besides the stress from AMS Care givers we can't even get help from the VA for private care because my dad worked hard (physically) all his life and made a descent living for our family.. I'm am totally disgusted with this facility and advice people to do do their research and take recommendations from others. Don't put your love one through this. I'm feeling much guilt and I feel I left my dad down. Please please, do not use this agency. Marie Drozda (daughter)

  I used their services this morning. It is an ongoing home healthcare thing. I am getting a tech seven days a week helping me with bathing my husband, as my husband is immobile. A lady comes in, mostly twice a week, and makes sure I have all the medications I need. She checks with the doctors if something is unusual. My experience with them has been okay. The aides have been here every day, even over Christmas, which helped me a lot. My husband is a 280-pound man, and to pick him without hospice care is hard. They make sure I get the things I need, I do not have to ask them. They listen. They get the aides and stuff. They make friends with my husband. They provide the diapers of different sizes. They have come in in the middle of the night like three times already, which is a good thing. Whenever I pick up the phone I have got somebody on the other end and that is the key thing.
