  • Kelly from Handyman Matters was fantastic. He showed up right on time, walked through the tasks on hand, and seemed eager for the challenges some of the projects posed. In the seven hours he was at our house, he repaired one ceiling fan, removed and replaced two other ceiling fans, removed and replaced a bathroom fan, removed and replaced an outlet, repaired three other outlets, and repaired a gutter. Wow! We will definitely hire them again the next time we need a handy person. We'll be requesting Kelly too!

  • After much research on the web, including Angie’s List and the Oregon CCB, I hired SFW Construction in June 2018 to repair dry rot and other issues on the exterior of my Wilsonville home. I was not disappointed in their work. The SFW crew (Tracy, Don, Tom, Angel, and Matt) were the best: knowledgeable, skilled, hardworking, and just darn nice guys! Every interaction and communication with SFW was a pleasure, including their office staff. In the SFW office, I want to single out Natasha, SaDee, and Jeff as being especially helpful and focused on customer service. It doesn’t get any better than this. I’m so lucky I hired SFW Construction.

  • It went extremely well. Damiel came out day after we called and gave us a bid on doing the job. We hired him the next day as no one else even answered our calls or were booked until January. Since the window leaked despite intensive caulking we accepted his offer. We couldn't have asked for anyone better. He and his son are a great team. He kept in touch by email and text arriving as scheduled. The job was done much faster than we anticipated as we didn't have the issues we thought we would have. The drywall and siding in, job cleaned up in 4 hours! They are a wonderful team and we will hire them again to do some other remodeling jobs. I am also giving his name to my neighbors who are trying to find someone. Thank you Damiel!

  • A 2 day job stretched into a 6 day job over two weeks. Because they charge time and materials there is no incentive for the work to be completed timely. After two days of work they said they would need to have a signed change order for 32-48 more hours of labor. That turned into 68.5 more hours after signed. We were not advised of the extra 20.5 hours and did not authorize it. They have a 42.86% mark-up of materials. They call it a "30% margin of mark-up". The margin is 30% but the mark-up is 42.86%. Using both terms to refer to different calculations is confusing. Be ready for potentially large over-runs. The work they did was good quality and on the days they came they were punctual and so both of those items were marked good. On the last day of work I asked for an invoice and was told one would be sent to me. I called the office after waiting a day and was told they didn't realize the job was completed. The office person was nice enough to listen to my concerns and did offer a small discount for the misunderstandings. That discount took the price from Lousy to Bad. Learn from my experience. If you are asked to sign a change order, make sure they give you a copy. Also be sure and date the order. There is a place on the order for an estimate to complete the job. You should make sure they fill out that section as well. I asked for and received an estimate of charges to date after the third day of work, the worker showed some calculations on his calculator but nothing was given in writing. Ironically on one day of work, we had someone come-out to bid for some gutter repairs. The HandyMan Matters worker told us to make sure we got everything in writing with details of exactly what was going to be done and the cost of the job. So some parts were good, at least one was bad and the other areas were fair for an overall rating of fair.

  • Didn't - Joseph Herndon came out a few weeks ago inspected - took measurements - never provided an estimate. I sent an email asking for it. NO response. We left a voice mail asking for a call back - NO response. No common courtesy or responsiveness. I would not recommend them.

  • We were responding to a number of items from an inspection report in order to close on our house sale. Handyman Matters could schedule me within a week and promised to send an experienced handyman who could handle everything on my list. Troy was indeed that expert. He has a broad range of skills and provided the solutions and experience required for everything on the list. He is very efficient and completed the work in a timely manner. He explained everything and signed off on each item on the work list. We were extremely happy with their service and would highly recommend them.

  • He came out and gave me a bid to have some work done for my buyers.  I am a realtor.   He was timely and knowledgeable about the repairs.   Unfortunately the seller did not use his services.   I will use him in the future.

  • Have used Shawn for two different projects in two years. Both were completed to our specifications and done extremely well. The installation of the living room ceiling fan required building a new box over the beam that goes the entire length of the room.  It perfectly matched the existing beam and one cannot tell it was not original to the house.  Would definitely use All Phase in the future for any remodeling or handyman needs.

  • My husband is not a handyman.  So he avoids doing handyman work at all costs.  We had several items that needed to be fixed, so we hired Larry.  Larry was punctual, and quick.  I had paid for 4 hours, but Larry was getting work done so quickly, I wasn't sure I was going to use the entire time.  I needed a rug brought upstairs and put under my bed and Larry even vacuumed it for me.  He was able to do most everything I asked and, if he wasn't sure, he said he would try (but gave me a heads up that it might not work.) Larry was fantastic to drive all the way to Home Depot to get a few things that we needed.  While he was working I told him "we love Larry" several times.  When my husband got home and saw his handy work he said the same thing.  "We love Larry" !  We will recommend him to everyone.

  • I had an appointment for Thursday May 28th. The customer service lady called and asked if I could move my appointment to Saturday May 30th between 12-1 instead to help them out. I agreed, however, no one showed up or called on the 30th.
