    Bull Mountain Roofing replaced our cedar shake roof with 50 year Presidential shingles during the summer of 2017. They also replaced the gutters and fixed some siding. We were very happy with their work and would highly recommend their services!!! We researched several roofing companies and selected Bull Mountain Roofing based on competitive pricing and responsiveness to our needs and questions. Hector was particularly friendly and helpful with setting up the schedule and coordinating the effort. The crew arrived on time, were polite, and very professional in their work. They cleaned up each day and provided an informed update on their progress. They always included us in any installation decisions. We enjoyed watching our house become a ���Street of Dreams���.

    Handyman Matters
    Kelly from Handyman Matters was fantastic. He showed up right on time, walked through the tasks on hand, and seemed eager for the challenges some of the projects posed. In the seven hours he was at our house, he repaired one ceiling fan, removed and replaced two other ceiling fans, removed and replaced a bathroom fan, removed and replaced an outlet, repaired three other outlets, and repaired a gutter. Wow! We will definitely hire them again the next time we need a handy person. We'll be requesting Kelly too!

    Very happy with their work. They keep their promises. They are fast but do good work. The are also low cost. Their work holds up. The roof replaced was only the lower roof where an addition had been added 7 years ago and that part did not need done.

    It went fantastically well.  These guys have my business.  They were courteous, on time, answered my questions, and genuinely want to do good work.  We had a small snafu and they were back within days of me calling them to fix the problem and even improve the gutters that were already there.  I was really impressed by them.  Plus, I felt that they were more than fair in their pricing.  If/when the need arises, I will be giving them a call.

    The salesman, Taylor, was very personable, friendly, and... convincing! We ended up spending a couple hours with him one evening working out details. He made us very comfortable with the decisions we made. In the end the roof looks good and they crew were friendly, but the real problem here is the scheduling and customer service.
    My wife got a voicemail on her cellphone on Friday afternoon at 3:00 PM from Val saying that they were going to come get started early Monday morning, and we should call them before 4:00 if there were any problems. We didn't get the message until after 4:00. We'd never had any conversations with anyone at the company after the initial sale, which means they arbitrarily scheduled a start date for us and gave us a one-hour warning. We had insurance people coming the following week to inspect the roof damage, so the last thing I wanted was someone coming to tear off the roof!
    The number she left was mumbled and garbled so I called every possible iteration leaving frantic voicemails on some wrong-numbers. On Saturday a manager of some sort called and apologized. Nevertheless, Monday morning a huge dumpster got dropped on our driveway. Luckily, their crew did not show up.
    Throughout the process, getting through to the company was always problematic. For instance, no matter how many times I told them to call my number, they continued to call my wife's cellphone?she's a teacher and not available most of the day.  I eventually took to calling the salesman, Taylor, so that he would take care of things, since Val and her colleagues weren't responsive. 
    Weeks went by after the job was done, and we never heard from the company for our "final walkthrough" that was promised. In fact, the dumpster continued to sit there. I called Taylor to get them to remove the dumpster ask about the walkthrough. In the end we had the dumpster in our driveway for about a month. Still no final walkthrough. 
    A month later, they must have realized that their paperwork was incomplete, and rushed someone over to get us to sign the completion notice, at which point I made him give me the promised walkthrough before I would sign anything. Another month later I was in the garden and Taylor drove up asking me to resign the paperwork due to an error in the way they ran the credit check.
    The crew worked some long hours getting stuff done. They were friendly and not disruptive. The roof looks good, but I'm not well qualified to judge their work. I only found two pieces of debris in the yard afterward?admittedly one was an 8-inch nail! The crew who installed the gutters did damage some of the bushes around the downspouts. 
    Taylor was very knowledgable and helpful, and the crew was friendly and hard working, but the company was difficult to work with.

    Big Jim's Home Repair

    Jim did a great job! Because we had no idea how bad the water/ant damage would be until he pulled off the siding, the original quote was less than the final price, but repairing all the water/ant damage only added about $1500 to the cost, which we felt was reasonable considering how bad it was.  Jim also worked to get us his painter right when the work was done so we could take advantage of the great weather and get the painting done right away. 

    Jim did a thorough job but he didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need, which we really appreciated.  He takes great pride in his work and the new trim and siding looks beautiful.  Jim even had his assistant come out and repair all of our screens - which were torn from the previous owner!  When you buy a new house and find there is thousands of dollars worth of unexpected repairs, it is hard to trust anyone!  Jim really understood what we were going through and I feel like our house is in great shape now.

    The entire process went really smoothly. The man who came out for the estimate was very professional. They quickly got back with me a very fair estimate that used top quality materials. The crew was also very professional and skilled. They were very clean and tidy in their work. It was just an outstanding experience, from the estimate to the follow up. I cannot recommend them enough!

    We purchased a "big deal" to have the service done.  It was done while we were at work so I can't comment about the workers' professionalism.  The roof and gutters looked good after the work was done.  Homemasters gave us an exterior report but it wasn't very detailed.

    We selected Cedar Tech based upon their
    favorable rating by Angie?s List, and they lived up to it 100%. We dealt
    with their representative, Kevin Stimson, who is both highly
    knowledgeable and personable. The price was fair, and precisely spelled
    out in the contract, and Kevin clearly explained what was necessary to repair
    and maintain our home?s shake roof so that we understood perfectly. The two-man
    crew that performed the repair work and applied the protective coat of Cedar
    Silver (an organic and environmentally green product), was on time, polite,
    and very hard working. In addition, they cleaned up superbly at the end of
    each and every day of work. Kevin paid regular visits to insure that the
    repair was being performed to the highest of standards, and to address any
    questions or concerns we might have. Further, after the repair was complete,
    Kevin returned to review with us all that had been accomplished, and to
    advise that he would be checking on a regular basis to make sure the
    Cedar Silver was steadily performing its job of gradually dissolving the
    remaining sludge that weather attaches to shakes so that it washes
    gently away over a six-month period. What this added up to in our
    opinion is excellent workmanship, complemented by excellent customer
    service---all that anyone could want. If you need your shake roof,
    cleaned and/or repaired, and protected, we are most pleased to recommend
    Cedar Tech. In our book, they are simply THE BEST.
