    Ponderosa Dental Arts
They are very good. Things went wonderful. They have all updated new equipment and they make the crowns right in-house so you only have one visit. I went in. They took the impression. They gave me magazines and turned on the music. I sat there for maybe 45-minutes. My crown was done. They put it in and I walked out. It was wonderful.

    Dr. Robert Darke
We have been going there for like eighteen years. They have a lot of technology. They are always updating their inter-mouth cameras and stuff like that to make it easy. They have good customer service and it is easy to schedule.

    Van Gordon, Dr. Brock A.
The service was excellent. He has a terrific staff. The waiting room was pleasant. I did not have wait at all for my appointment. They schedule people correctly. They do not over-schedule. My old dentist retired, so I had to shop around for a new one. Dr. Van Gordon is the dentist that I have chosen to stay with.

He is very conscientious about his work. He isn't satisfied until it's the best he can do. I have been going to see him for probably twenty years. His wife works in the office. He has had the same dental assistants ever since I've been there, so it's like seeing some old pals when we go in.

I've been seeing him for a long time now. He is very caring and very knowledgeable. He is a perfectionist and so he is not satisfied until everything is exactly the way it should be. His wife, Karen, works in the office. I think she does the bookkeeping. His Dental Assistant, Roxy, has been with him for ever, so they make an excellent team. They treat their patients like family and all of them take a personal interest in their patients.

He is such a great dentist that I actually drive 45 minutes to get to him. He is so, so good. I had a closer dentist and I got recommendations for a particular problem and I found him the best. He is phenomenal. I am really picky about my dentist. She is fantastic. She is super, super knowledgeable, very well educated, very knowledgeable about any kind of dental problem and if it is something that is not in his specialty, he is very happy to recommend to a different specialist. He does not only regular dentistry, but he also does dental surgery. He is smart, kind, gentle, and trustworthy. He really listens to the patients and adjusts treatment to accommodate people's phobias and fears and make sure that they get the very best treatment, but he takes into account their level of fear, which I think is wonderful. He has very clean offices and nicely decorated. The office staff is great, friendly, knowledgeable, on time, and super punctual with the appointments. They have great billing people and great administration people. They really explain everything. They explain all of the costs and all of the ins and outs. They take dental insurance. I think the best provider is that I have run across and they are just fantastic. I do sometimes get to read their magazines. I would absolutely visit him again in the future.

I just love him and his staff. They are just marvelous. I had some extensive work done by Dr. Lorio. He changed out all my fillings, and it was one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. I love his hygienist Colleen. They are gentle.

Upon my 93-year-old mother-in-law's initial exam, it was discovered she had extensive untreated damage, decayed and infected dental problems. This necessitated the removal of several teeth and the fitting of upper dentures.

The dentist and his staff were supportive, gentle, honest, and caring through the long and involved process this entailed. Her overall health has improved significantly since this procedure was completed. We appreciated their care.

    Van Gordon, Dr. Brock A.
adequate--missed filling that had fallen out, failed to follow up on prior conditions, cleanings never felt quite clean

good enough if you have no history of dental problems--gentle enough for the dental phobe

not good for someone who has a complicated dental history

    James, Dr. Dustin
Dr. James has an office that is "split" in two - one side for the little ones and one side for teenagers. The office staff was excellent, warm and invited any and all questions. They have all the latest and greatest equipment! My teenager has Asperger's and they were very gentle and patient with him. My son had his routine check-up and cleaning. They took x-rays and were able to print them out on regular printer paper which I found amazing. Dr. James showed me on the x-rays, and explained in great detail, a baby tooth that had a crown on it from several years ago that was wedged between his two back molars in a fashion that kept it from being able to come out and was keeping his 12 - year molar (which was visible on the x-ray) from coming in and he's 16 now!. He also showed me his wisdom teeth and explained that they needed to come out. He took all the time needed to explain our situation to us and never acted as if he was getting impatient with our constant questions. Due to my son's Asperger's, he has to have his teeth cleaned every three months and my son is already reminding me that his appointment is coming up! I couldn't have been happier and I've had to call their office a few times regarding a referral to an oral surgeon and they were right on it and e-mailed the x-rays so I wouldn't have to drive the two minutes to their office to pick them up! They were able to get my son in the same week I called for an appointment and the only "wait" time is the time it takes for you to use one of the numerous computers to register your child. I can't say enough about this dentist and his staff. I myself am completely phobic of the dentist and Dr. James was even understanding about that. He asked if I knew why I was so phobic and did I mind him asking and I explained the reason and he was so sympathetic. It was just an all around "pleasant" experience for my son which was all that mattered.
