ASAFE START BABYWe have a colonial with stairwells that have a unique configuration. We were extremely frustrated with trying to install baby gates. We called Safe Start and scheduled an appointment. Michele was on time and provided years of experience in baby-proofing. Within two days we had three baby gates beautifully installed. Michele's staff were punctual, clean and courteous. They were the best contractors I've ever had work on my house. They did excellent work and cleaned up the work areas when done. I would highly recommend Safe Start Baby-proofing!- NICOLE C.

I was truly impressed with how efficiently he installed latches on our cabinets. He charged by the hour, but made sure he worked very quickly without sacrificing quality. FThe handyman scheduled (Tony) did not show for our appointment. The office called to tell us that Tony had a large job before ours and that he would likely be a little late, but that he would show up well within the two hour window allowed from his start time. The office told us that they would keep us advised if things changed concerning the arrival time. Tony did not show up during the two hour window from his scheduled start time, and we never heard from the office. We would not use this company in the future.

AI was very impressed and inspired by my meeting. He had lots of great ideas and pictures of past projects. His imagination to see what a space was capable of becoming, his attention to detail as demonstrated by his portfolio, and commitment to high quality work was very exciting and refreshing. Unfortunately, we were not able to go with Artistic D-Zine for this project due to a crazy tight timeline and budget constraints. However, I can say that we really hope that we will be able to work with this team in the future. The experience was very positive, professional, and fun.

APaul’s crew did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen. This included removing the soffit, upgrading the electrical service, installing new cabinets, and installing some new appliances. We stayed with a similar layout for the kitchen. His main crew person, Mark, did 95 percent of the work and was highly skilled. This included demolition, preparing the space for the new kitchen, installing the cabinets, and putting in duct work for the new hood. He even unpacked all the cabinets after delivery. His attention to detail was impressive in all areas like ceiling texture, painting, backsplash tile, and trim/molding pieces. Mark will be able to figure out and resolve any issue your old house might present. New appliances were on our own to provide, and the contract clearly stated “owner supplied.” New cabinets were also on our own, and here Paul included an allowance. This allowance is an amount he will subtract from the final amount you owe. That’s nice when you get to the end of the project. Your cabinet estimate will come from the cabinet supplier/design company you go with. To give you an idea, in our small kitchen we spent $10,000 on cabinets from Parr. Paul coordinated the main construction, electricians, plumbers, and countertop installation. He even communicated with the cabinet supplier we ordered from. The project took a tad over 6 weeks which was about right for the work involved. Each day there was noticeable progress.
