Roth Heating & Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical
We have used Roth in the past for furnace and A/C work and decided to try them for plumbing. We were second call for the day and John arrived around 11, after calling to let me know he was on his way. He didn't have the bolts in his truck for the type of toilets we had, but he went to the store and got them. He promptly got the bolts installed when he came back. He spilled some water from his shop vac on the entry floor (not really his fault as we have boxes around the edge of the stairs to keep a blind dog from falling down the stairs, making it hard to navigate) and charged us $24 less for the inconvenience, which was a nice touch. I like it when companies allow their workers to decide on pricing based on the situation.

Great. Brandon arrived early, assessed the situation and completed the repair in one day. Brandon arrived early for appointment ready to work. I had previously had a leak locator identify the problem as being in the crawl space. Brandon indicated that the water in the space did not support the leak being in the crawl space. He did some measurements and translated these to the outside of the house, where he did find the leak. He had to dig with his hands (literally) to avoid breaking the sewer pipe that was running parallel to the water pipe. He worked until the project was completed. I had several other estimates which ranged up to 5 times his price. The other plumbers were planning to dig in the crawl space - which would have been a waste of time.. One said I would need to replace the pipe from the street to the house. Brandon was more thoughtful and investigated the situation more thoroughly before starting the work. He was professional and kept me informed of the progress during the day. I highly recommend him.

    3 Mountains Plumbing
I'm a fairly "handy" guy, but I had two toilets that were flushing slowly and using the plunger didn't resolve the problem. I hired 3 Mountains plumbing based on their online reviews, and they were super-organized and responsive. "Frankie" arrived right on time and told me my toilets needed to be replaced, not cleaned-out, due to age (circa 1990). He prepared two bids on his tablet to install two toilets either purchased from them or "customer provided". $1,691.00 to install toilets they provided, or $850.00 to install toilets I provided. A quick trip to the plumbing supply shop confirmed they were quoting MORE THAN DOUBLE the retail price I'd pay (and you gotta know they're buying product for less than retail). My bigger problem is the labor quote. If you're the type of person that walks onto a car dealership and pays the sticker price, stop reading now. 3 Mountains Plumbing is perfect for you. They quoted $850.00 to install (2) toilets. I've installed a toilet before, I've watched a couple YouTube videos, and I called 2 other plumbers for an estimate. 3 Mountains was so much more expensive than anybody else I talked to that it was unbelievable. I explained that even if I allowed 1 hour per toilet install, that would work out to $425.00 per hour. They responded that they don't charge by the hour, they "flat-rate" it. Was that supposed to make me feel better? For comparison purposes, MP Plumbing quoted me the exact same toilets with an installed price that was $600.00 lower. They don't know me, I wasn't getting any special deal, that was just their over-the-phone quote. So you have to ask yourself, "Is it worth paying a 54.29% premium to work with 3 Mountains Plumbing?" Personally, I'll buy my own toilets and install them myself before I'll let somebody take advantage of me. As the women working in the Plumbing aisle at Home Depot said, "What's the big deal? It's two bolts and a water supply line!" Then with a sly smile she said "I'll install both for $750.00!" Yeah, I'll bet she would...

    Pipeline Plumbing & Drains
I provided Pipeline with a detailed description of the problem including manufacturing information and a complete photo album. They said they'd send a service plumber for $75 to diagnose the problem. When the plumber came he was completely unprepared for the problem, completely unaware of the information I previously sent to Pipeline to ask if they could solve this specific faucet leak. He instead took pictures (the same that I sent in advance of the visit). And he Googled the faucet manufacturer on his phone. The front office staff did nothing to make this a productive visit. They just wanted the $75 to open the door.

    Pipeline Plumbing & Drains
Out of 3 requests for bids through Angie's List, Pipeline was by far the most responsive. Rapid and friendly response from the scheduler. They had to cancel the first appointment at the last minute due to an unforeseen scheduling problem but were able to reschedule within 48 hours. Actual visit by the plumber was brief as it turned out to be a much simpler problem than I originally thought. I was able to correct the problem myself. I am writing the review mostly to praise the customer service as they were willing to adjust the bill out of consideration for my time on the missed appointment.

    Lamont Bros.
Excellent !. Daniel Birch, Lamont Brothers designer, worked with us to start with to draw up plans of what we wanted to do, get permitting, select cabinets, sinks, toilet, lighting and all cabinet hardware and get it ordered Then, when the time came for our project to done, he handed us over to Aaron Davenport, our construction superintendent, who guided us through the actual work to be done. All work was done very well, on time, and the leak issue was corrected to our satisfaction. The whole job took just a little over 3 weeks to complete. We are VERY pleased with the work and the overall project. !!!

    G's Concrete Inc
Oh my goodness! G and his crew are, by far, the best in their profession. G was great at keeping me informed about the job and what to expect. His crew were all very delightful and fun to watch as they crafted the slope and layout of the driveway. I would definitely recommend G's Concrete Inc. to my friends, family and neighbors.

    Casey's Plumbing Inc
We had old galvanized piping throughout most of our house. These were replaced with PEX. The crew did a fine job, minimizing mess and making as few holes in the drywall as possible. They also replaced a toilet flush valve, and showed me how to replace a vacuum breaker on an outdoor hose bib, for no extra charge. Unfortunately two calls to the drywall repair outfit they recommended, Indigo Construction, were not returned by the estimator, even though the person I spoke to at Indigo indicated that would happen. So we hired someone else to repair the drywall (Oswego Drywall). Overall I would recommend Casey's -- professional crew, and the work was done right.

    BSC General Contractors Inc
Bryan, Ben & Brian are FANTASTIC to work with. Very professional and extremely detailed in all finish work. Our fully tiled master bathroom is beautiful! I've yet to find even the smallest irregularity (finished approximately 4 months ago). New cabinets, tiled floor, fully tiled double shower, etc. - all looks perfect. We are very picky and they have met all expectations... We received bids from 4 contractors before proceeding with BSC.

Evan was great! He was very responsive and came out within 24 hours to evaluate the project. He got back to me the same day with a very reasonable bid. Work was performed on a Saturday. They got straight to work. Clean, efficient. Noticed some other issues with the roof while up there and will bid on that as well.
