We were considering selling our home which is located in a floodplain. We needed to get an elevation certificate completed to be able to do so. There was a strong chance we we thought we could petition FEMA (with a LOMA) about our floodplain status as well. I contacted a few surveyors and chose Township Surveys after speaking on the phone about what we needed done.
It was explained to me that they would be able to send a team out the following week to do the survey and I would have a certificate shortly after that (1-2 weeks). Then they would be able to help file a LOMA if it were applicable to change to the flood zone designation. That would have been an additional $750 if we wanted to purse that.
Two men came to the house and did all of the measurements on Oct. 14, took my full payment, and then I never heard from them again. I have called twice and each time been told they were very busy, but the elevation certificate was completed and I would get it in a few days. It is now Dec. 7 and I still do not have my elevation certificate. I need this to complete sale of my home and I have been unable to get a straight answer on when I will actually receive my certificate.
I would never use this business again for any surveying needs.

I called them. They came within a few days. They readily found the markers for our property and put in stakes every few feet along the property line to define property boundary.  Two fences were pretty much exactly on the property line, so didn't have to be marked.  Also marked city right of way.  Great service. We were very pleased and would use again.

Our biggest surprise was just how emotional your property survey can be - especially in an environment where property values are high, local ordinances are in flux and development competition is keen. Township was extremely patient, flexible and helpful as we moved through the process of the survey and recording. We had a lot of questions and a fair amount of anxiety, but Township returned our phone calls and email messages promptly and politely. We would absolutely hire Township again.

The staff in the office was great. They responded to my call immediately and had the someone contact me after they had done some research on my property. They scheduled an appointment within a responable time frame and as promised they showed up on time. The surveyor was very knowledgable and extremely polite. I asked for several markers along with the corner markers to make our fence installation easier and they meet my needs. They were fast, while doing a great job.

A+ services. Ken did it all remotely. He did everything he said and went above and beyond the call of duty. Even went back and spent additional time B/C the current landowner's information(false) was different than his instruments were telling him. Rather than just moving on, ken went out and resurveyed to check his work. He had about twice the original amount quoted in this job, but kept his original bid. He is awesome, professional and i would certainly recommend him to anyone. YOu may call me personally for a reference, Ken has my contact info.

The surveyors were personable and nice. They estimated the location of the pins that they could not find. When I asked them if they could use their equipment to verify our property line on the West side, I was told they would have to return at a later time at an additional charge, since they did not have their surveying equipment with them. To their credit they had some good advice for me on how I could figure out the property line myself, which is obscured by vegetation and an existing fence. Come on, guys! Why don't you bring all of your equipment to the job site? I paid a steep $450 for this guesstimate, and I also requested the report to be sent to me quickly. When I didn't receive it in the mail, I called B.L. three times to remind them that I needed the report for my neighbors. They had many excuses. After 5 weeks - still nothing. I am disappointed about how they do business. I expected to get more for my money and would not do business again with them.

Very professional people. They always answered my telephone calls and many questions. Work was prompt and was completed on time. Survey work is expensive, but they are priced fairly and will work with you. Harry is a very honest man.
