Fantastic effort! Very communicative, and balanced our desire to balance price with quality of product. We were faced with a daunting list of repairs that we needed for our recently purchased home, including water intrusion behind both siding and cultured stone on the front and sides of our house, water leaking through a deck into our garage, rot repair, water envelope replacement, and installation of a new sliding door. In addition, we needed to remodel our laundry room in order to make it functional. All the work that was performed was performed with the utmost of care and professionalism. I've never been this pleased with services performed with a contractor, especially in this environment when tradesmen / tradeswomen are so flooded with work. Definitely exceeded our expectations!

Excellent !. Daniel Birch, Lamont Brothers designer, worked with us to start with to draw up plans of what we wanted to do, get permitting, select cabinets, sinks, toilet, lighting and all cabinet hardware and get it ordered Then, when the time came for our project to done, he handed us over to Aaron Davenport, our construction superintendent, who guided us through the actual work to be done. All work was done very well, on time, and the leak issue was corrected to our satisfaction. The whole job took just a little over 3 weeks to complete. We are VERY pleased with the work and the overall project. !!!

Went great. The guys showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, were professional, and did an outstanding job. We really have a hard time seeing where the repairs were, the finish was so well matched to existing.

    JR Insulation Drywall
They did a superb job. They put up sheetrock, taped & textured - all in one day. Received a call the night before to confirm when they would arrive. The guys arrived on time and got right to work. Once they were done, I couldn't even tell they had been there - except for the fantastic job they did. I will be hiring them again without question for other jobs we have coming up!

    Lake Oswego Drywall & Construction
We hired Lake Oswego Drywall to repair some sheetrock damage that occurred due to a leaking skylite. They were prompt, professional, took great care in covering surrounding furniture, and did a great job!

    Larry Hudson Contracting
Horribly. Mistakenly bought 2, four hour blocks of Mr. Hudson's time, as the credit card app lagged and I hit the button twice. Mr Hudson sent a one line email which we missed. Did not hear from him again until we sent a message months later. He was available a month or so later. When he came out, he was shown work needed. I was not able to explain much, as I didn't understand it. When I left to do other things, Mr Hudson told my son he was going our to buy supplies that I couldn't find. Mr Hudson called 10 minutes later to say he was "not comfortable" doing our jobs and that he would call to arrange return of money. In a month since, we have not heard from Mr. Hudson, at all.

    Skandia Remodeling
I do a lot of cooking. I grow all my own vegetables, and make all my own everything. I've lived over twenty years in this house. So, I hada lot of viewson how I wanted my kitchen to be. Like, a kitchen door should have all the fiddly little individual glass panes that take two days to paint around, not just one big pane with lined divisions. I need the counter lowered where I roll pastry.I want this drawer to slide out with dividers for oil bottles... All this to say, I may not have been the most easy-going client to work with. Too, the house dates from 1897 and has no straight lines or level surfaces. There were random hot wires in the ceiling and mummified rats under the floor. Of the three design/build contractors and one architect I interviewed, Paul Olson at Skandia was the only one who seemed really interestedI don't mean in landing the job but in the house itself. He got the vibe.

Paul has an artist's eye and experience with period styles. Hewalked me through all the kerjillion design choices and kept me real with the budget. When I needed to pare down he helped me pare, and where I wanted to splurge he enabled (that fabulous green stone countertop!)Skandia was not the lowest bidder. But Paul stuck religiouslyto his estimates. There was not one single surprise.

Every single workman who came to the house seemed to have known Paul since their dads went to high school together. The men were uniformly competent, punctual, and a joy to have around. Especially, Paul's right-hand man Bil Frost must be the handyman in the mind of God. Bil never left the house without cleaning everything. There was no detail too minute, too fiddling, to often, too back-breaking. Haul the old fridge to the basement? Sure! Need to cut out the basement door frame to make it fit? Hey, no problem. I blush to think how often I heard Bil say, "She wants..." But I got it, whatever I wanted.

The job took three and a half months and cost a staggering amount of money. I love my new kitchen with a sick passion. I would hire Paul (and Bil! I would adopt Bil) againin a shot. And actually the whole look and flow of the house is so improved, if I sold the property todayI believe I'd make my money back.

    H&H Drywall, Inc. (East Office)
After a plumbing leak the plumber had to cut into the drywell to repair the leak. On recommendation of the plumber I called H&H Drywall. They were able to provide an estimate after I texted a photo of the damage. They provided an estimate after 3 days and we scheduled a repair date. Repairman showed up on time and took great care in preparing the space to contain the debris. Quality of the repair was superb. The surface was a knockdown texture and after painting the surface the repair is undetectable.

Did a great job repairing the holes in the ceiling and matching the texture to the existing ceiling. For 2 of the 3 holes, you can't even tell there was a repair made; the 3rd has some discoloration that needs to be painted over. The 2 workers were fast and efficient and did a great job. I would use this company again for drywall repairs or other construction services.
My only concern about this job was that it took 2 months to get it completed.  I think I was rescheduled 4 times.  However, they were really nice about it and I wasn't in a big hurry so it wasn't a big issue for me.  It did leave me wondering how long it might take to get work done if I was in a hurry though.
