    CASCADE ROOFING
The company sent in a large crew and had the job done quickly and efficiently in about a day and a half. The foreman was there to meet me the first day and go over some areas of concern that had shown up. He was very professional and made good recommendations. I am very pleased with the work and would recommend them to others.

    Lamont Bros.
Excellent !. Daniel Birch, Lamont Brothers designer, worked with us to start with to draw up plans of what we wanted to do, get permitting, select cabinets, sinks, toilet, lighting and all cabinet hardware and get it ordered Then, when the time came for our project to done, he handed us over to Aaron Davenport, our construction superintendent, who guided us through the actual work to be done. All work was done very well, on time, and the leak issue was corrected to our satisfaction. The whole job took just a little over 3 weeks to complete. We are VERY pleased with the work and the overall project. !!!

    Larry Hudson Contracting
Horribly. Mistakenly bought 2, four hour blocks of Mr. Hudson's time, as the credit card app lagged and I hit the button twice. Mr Hudson sent a one line email which we missed. Did not hear from him again until we sent a message months later. He was available a month or so later. When he came out, he was shown work needed. I was not able to explain much, as I didn't understand it. When I left to do other things, Mr Hudson told my son he was going our to buy supplies that I couldn't find. Mr Hudson called 10 minutes later to say he was "not comfortable" doing our jobs and that he would call to arrange return of money. In a month since, we have not heard from Mr. Hudson, at all.

    SFW Construction LLC
They were nice to deal with but their schedule was too busy to do the job quickly. As a result, I had to cancel the work after payment through Angie's List. The refund process went smoothly and because of the professional way it was handled I will be using SFW in the future when then need for construction arises.

    On The Level Remodeling Co.
Everything was smooth and timely. Cost a little high but commensurate with the quality. There was some small miss-communication that I was partially responsible for. I would suggest that you get sketches of any project that has room for misinterpretation. In any event, Zandy went out of his way to make everything right, and he did. That is what you really want. Things often go wrong and its how a guy responds that counts.

    Dahlberg Construction
Our old porch was built in 1984 when the house was built.  It was wooden with wooden handrails.  Every year my husband had to sand it down and repaint it.  Then, a few years ago, it got dry rot.  We nursed it along - resanding and repainting every year.
We finally decided to replace it this Spring and instead of wood, we went with Trex.  Trex looks like wood - lots of color choices - but never needs to be sanded or repainted.  You just power wash it a couple times a year.
We heard about Erik Dahlberg from friends, and he came over to give us some options and ideas - and he gave us an estimate once we decided to go with Trex instead of treated wood.
We could not be more pleased.  Our new porch is beautiful!  Start to finish this job took him 6 days.  He is very efficient and professional and just a really nice guy.
Feel free to stop by and check out our new porch!   Erik gets our highest recommendation!

    Dahlberg Construction
Erik promptly came out and gave us a bid for the work. When we selected him he scheduled the job and It turns out there was much more hidden work that needed to be done than in the quote. Erik kept us informed and involved in the decision making process every step of the way. He was polite, dependable and respectful. We have already talked with him about doing another job for us!

    Portland Painting & Restoration Inc
The owner Benjamin Friberg was known to me from coordinating interior painting at a previous address over 5 years ago. I am happy to have reconnected with him. I feel confident that he is trustworthy and professional. His company offers a range of services. He won't be the cheapest, and probably not the most expensive, but he will be sure the job is done right. The carpenter that works with him (Tom) is a nice guy who has had to do some research on products to be sure that I am happy with the outcome of the job. We are only 2/3 done with the current jobs but I am definitely comfortable posting this review early.

    J & S Home Maintenance LLC
Jay responded to my initial email within 24 hrs.  He called to arrange for an appointment and was able to come at the end of my work day.  Very nice and professional.  Even though this wasn't a big project, he took plenty of time to understand what I wanted and made suggestions to make it better.  He had an opening in his schedule and was able to do the project that same week.Jay gave me an estimated price that was reasonable since the removal of the trim on the stairs was going to be time consuming.
Jay showed up right on time and I felt very copmfortable in leaving a key while I went to work.  The cat door looks great and the cabinet in the garage far exceeds my expectations.  It even has 2 round screened windows for ventilation and light.  The stair edges look very good without a nick or scratch on the existing flooring.  Jay came in right on estimate even though he did some extras and even put a new crew in a door knob.
I would highly recommend Jay for any maintenace project and will definately use him again.
