    I was very happy with Oregon Blind and Window Cleaning. I bought a special so the price was right. I've stalled getting my blinds cleaned because I thought I had to take them in. What a nice surprise that they come to your home with a truck and clean them right there. They were very professional and and right on time. I was amazed at the speed they completed the project. They first came in and removed all the blinds, then took them to the truck to clean them, and while one worker finished washing, the other started hanging the clean blinds. In no time everything was done and the blinds looked super. I would recommend the company anytime.

    This experience was fantastic from start to finish - the best experience we could ask for. We first went to the showroom, where Lynn showed us all the options on the many blinds, roller shades, and other treatments that they have full-size displays of. (Going there first was a wise decision, as we learned much more from that visit than we learned from the other sole bidder, who did not have a showroom and just brought samples to our house.) Lynn then came to the house two days later and did a very thorough job of measuring -- much better than the one other company that I sought a bid from. Lynn was very professional, and very helpful -- taking the time necessary to help us with our many questions. The entire order showed up 4 weeks later, which was 2 weeks sooner than other bids were telling us. The installation person was very good -- worked diiligently and efficiently, left no mess, was careful not to track in dirt, etc. I have read the other reviews of this company, and am in concurrence with those people who have given Premier a top grade. They have outstanding service. And oh by the way, Premier and the other bidder came in at the same price, but Premier actually provided two more treatments than the other bidder.

    The experience was unbelievably unprofessional. We surmise it was a bad sales rep (Karen), plus a system that didn't catch that this person was a complete whack job. We canceled the order before it arrived after a four-month delay. We got our money back -- and reasonably quickly too -- but this probably happened only because it was an order placed through Costco. (Thank god for them.) Here are the details of what happened.

    Nothing happened after we placed the order. We were told it would take six weeks for the order to show up. We heard nothing, then called at that time. The sales rep (Karen) said it should show up the next week and she would call us. The next week, nothing happened and she didn't call us. We called once two months had passed (since placing the order). We got her voicemail and left a message. Heard nothing. Left another message (or maybe it was two). Finally, after a week or two, she called back and said she couldn't get the message because she had dropped her cell phone in the ocean while vacationing at the Oregon coast the prior weekend. She said the order was being shipped from North Carolina, and that she would call is in two or three days. Nothing happened. We called a week later, and couldn't reach her. Finally, I noticed in the fine print that it was Custom Decorators who was the vendor. My wife called their office and was told that they couldn't find us in their system and that no order had been placed. This was about 3.5 months after we had (1) placed the order with Karen, and (2) on that same day paid in full with the Costco American Express card (because she told us that Costco requires full payment up-front). Also, we had already paid the Am Xpress bill in full. How it got into Am Xpress without every showing up at Custom Decorators is still a mystery, but it appears that the sales rep (Karen) (can you tell I'm not a big fan of her?) never handed the paperwork to the people in her shop who place the order -- though that makes no sense when you think about the fact that we got billed for it. Or, perhaps the shop can't keep track of its paperwork. Or maybe Costco screwed up. I don't know. Whatever the case is, it's obvious that this company -- whether at the individual level (the sales rep) or the business / corporate level (the folks in the office) -- does not have its act together at all. The only reason I did not give an F was because I got my money back quickly (thanks likely to Costco, rather than this outfit).

    Night & Day Blinds
    We first talked to Mr Carsner at the Street of Dreams in late summer of 2009 because w had an old vertical blind that had broken and didn't know what to do with it. Cost of replacement was near $1,000. He said he could fix it, and managed to track down parts for a model no longer made and repaired the blind for us, at a very reasonable rate. We then had him look at a sunroom in December, 2009, that was just being completed, and he helped us find the perfect solution to provide some privacy and still keep the open, bright look we wanted in the room. A couple months later we had him help us find a blind for my husband's office after a new window was installed. Again, it was the perfect solution. His expertise and helpfulness was greatly appreciated. The total price was much better than other places we had checked, to say nothing of dealing with one of the nicest people we've ever encountered.

    Original contact was great, person came to measure, order was confirmed in visit to store. Paid a deposit of 50%. Delivery date came and went, no contact. Follow up discovered that order had been misplaced, never sent in so new order placed. Called to confirm that delivery would take place with new date... and assured it would... date came and went, no contact. Went by store only to discover it had closed. Called again, contact said order was being expedited... date came and went... you get the picture. Ultimately they stopped returning my calls. I called my bank and had them reverse the deposit made on my credit card. Next day they called to see when they could come by to install the shades. We did end up buying the shades from them because they had the style and color we wanted. Installation was done well.

    I contacted this company after receiving a discount mailer from Milgard. The owner, Glen Johnson, was on time for our appointment and returned a second time to answer additional questions and finalize measurements. Glen is very knowledgeable about both the product and installation and willing to answer all questions thoroughly. There were no annoying, high-pressure sales tactics. The order did take a few weeks longer than quoted but was worth the wait. Peter Johnson did the installation, kept me informed of his progress, and was not bothered by my numerous questions. Peter is meticulous in the installation process and very respectful of property, cleaning up after each window was installed. The installation looks awesome! After a year of numerous home improvement projects and contractors, this experience was by far the best. I highly recommend this company. Thanks Glen, Pete, & Arlene!

    This is a great company. They're always on time for appointments, and the blinds that they've installed have always been right the first time. They even gave me some hanging brackets for some existing blinds that they didn't sell. In my previous house, I broke a blind that they installed years before, and they came out and fixed it for free. That experience alone made me a customer for life.
