We needed a new RV parking area paved and tied into our existing driveway. To complicate matters, we were also installing a new concrete pad for a new garage. Scot was super flexible and worked with our concrete contractor to get the entire job done perfectly. His guys went above and beyond with the excavation, paving and cleanup. One of the most professional companies I've ever dealt with. We will definitely have them back in spring to seal our new driveway.

To say that my wife is particular with what she wants might be perhaps a bit of an understatement. Anyway, Dave was very quickly able to come up with a great solution. Furthermore, Dave was actually able to work us in about a month earlier than originally estimated. His crew was great to work with and completed the job on time with a minimum of the sort of lifestyle inconvenience that are part and parcel of these types of small construction projects.

We were extremely pleased with the work Bret and his team did on our backyard living space. It is truly an oasis. Bret is creative and thorough in his approach and his team is very hard working and reliable. We appreciated their communication and professionalism. We would highly recommend them!

The quality of work done by this company is very good, and we have absolutely no problem with this. The problems that we had with this company were twofold. First, they overbook in the summer and could not perform the job for almost two months. Please be careful when booking and making a down payment. Secure a date when they will be able to start the job. At the initial quote, we were told that it might be a month out. We were not told that it would be twice that at the outset until we had made our down payment. So we had to wait. Ok. All along it is fair to say there was poor communication on the part of Cornerstone Hardscape. The job finally started over a week late in September (After scheduling in June) and then over the duration of the job nobody would show up and work for three or four days straight. There was no communication about the timetable of the job or why nobody was showing up. There were a few days in which there existed the probability of rain, but there were plenty of sunny days during the companies disappearance.  Our bushes were dug up and left in the front yard along with half cut bricks strewn around. It looked like a construction site. The neighbors began to ask who was doing the work and if they were ever going to finish. Cornerstone Hardscape was aware that we were being put at an inconvenience and accepted our request to put in some bark dust as compensation.
    email: Request to Cornerstone Hardscapes,
"Anyway you could throw in a some bark dust once your done? That would be
great if you could. We have been waiting since June and now another
    three weeks."
email: Answer from Cornerstone Hardscapes  "Yes?we would be happy to"
No bark dust was ever put in.
The company does not want to hear about complaints. After a summer of being very patient, I wanted to express my displeasure with the communication and long delays in getting the work done. When I called to talk about some of my complaints the secretary listened for a bit and then hung up on me. I went ahead and sent in my final check and will not use this company again.

Our disappointment is a lack of communication between the salesman, project manager and third-party workers .  Specifically, the estimate needed to be modified because the measurements were inaccurate.  When the program manager came out he noticed the estimate wasn’t right.  The program manager remeasured and got the accurate info so the outsource workers could come out.  Labor is provided through a third party.  When the first workers came out we needed to explain to them because they had the initial incorrect estimate.  A couple days later a separate group of outsourced workers came in and had the old measurements.  The program manager did not take responsibility and placed the blame on the 3rd party workers. Also, I was a bit disappointed with the product result.  They also did not clean up after themselves very well.  It didn’t look shiny and the program manager explained that he didn’t use the shiny material because the material he uses is more durable and reliable.  There was also one main crack and a worker came out and fixed that.  A couple weeks later there were a couple other issues that came up and it took them a while to get back with me.  Currently, there are areas where they sand is continually falling way and I am most likely going to be calling him again to come out to add more sand.

    Quartz & Granite Countertops Inc.
After a horrible experience with a contractor that took our deposit and left us high and dry, I joined Angie's list to search for a contractor to install countertops.  I was specific in my search and only requested top rated, recently reviewed and local businesses.  I met and took estimates from two companies and ultimately chose Dion's company, Quartz & Granite Countertops, Inc.
I called Dion on a Thursday and he met with my husband and myself early Saturday morning.  He educated us in different types of countertops and prices.  By Tuesday, Dion sent us an estimate.  We made a decision on the counters and company by the following week and called Dion.  Dion wanted to us to be happy with our choice so he took some extra time going over the pros and cons of the material.  Dion updated our estimate based on our choice of material within a day and set up a construction date the following week.
Dion's crew showed up 8:00 am sharp on Monday morning, demo'd the kitchen and created a pattern for the counters.  Tuesday, they installed the counters and put up the tile, Wednesday they came back and did the plumbing and grouted the tile.  Each day they showed up promptly at 8:00 and left the site cleaned up.  Dion called me at work as need to go over details and any questions he had.  The counters turned out beautiful and are exactly what I envisioned.
I would certainly use Dion again and I highly recommend him.  This is how a job should be done.  I'll try to upload pictures.

Got a friendly and low pressure bid.  Once I chose to move forward the process was simple.  Everyone took the time to make sure they got it right the first time.  They were able to schedule the install the next week.  I did a patio with fire pit and walkway around the side of the house.  It took a full week but the detail was superb and the workers left the place clean and organized each day.  The finished product looks awesome and I'll probably do more in the future.  The only negative aspect was that some neighbors felt the dust created by the process of cutting the stones was a bit much, and my house needed a good cleaning after, but hey, it's stone cutting.  It was a small price to pay for an incredible looking patio.

    System Pavers
First of all the gentlemen that do the paving work and lay the pavers are very good craftsmen but I do have a issue I'm not happy about an in fact I really do need to call them again because when I have the planter built it is a long planter down the whole length of the side yard area and they didn't account for neccessary drainage. I have water that ponds and when I called them about it they sent people out that evidently no longer actually contracted with but they had them come out and supposedly create a drainage which is not working. So for the amount of money I have spent with this company because I used them twice I really think feel they should pay more attention to what my problems are. They are really actually nice people to work with when they are here but once they are gone that is when my issue comes up. I have to call them again because now I am learning that now I have a pond of water when it rains in an area that is not suppose to have a pond of water.

    Moss Rock Landscaping
The Moss rock crew did a fast, complete job. They encountered a much thicker than normal concrete patio when starting the removal but did not charge more for the extra work required. They were very cooperative with our design ideas. They came back a year later at no charge to reset one small decorative stone that had slid off due to heavy rains. Overall they were able to correct many of the flaws in the patio and drainage systems of our 22 year old house.

    Earth Stone Water, Inc.
Always professional, the weekly work is complete leaving my yard looking great. Neighbors have commented on how good the yard looks. Special projects are priced fairly. The stone path and stairs were well designed. When shopping for the stone and later a large tree to plant, James met me at the suppliers to help pick out the right ones. I would highly recommend Earth, Stone, Water, Inc.
