    ABRA Auto and Body
It was a wonderful experience, and fine work was performed. David was professional, friendly and understanding. A rental car was arranged and the coordination was perfect, David texted me several times to update repair details, and my car was cleaned inside (even the sheepskin seat covers) and outside. I am more than pleased and am happy to give them an A Plus review. A VERY different experience than the one I had two years ago at Leif's. who kept my car for a month, sent me home with faulty steering mechanisms, used recycled parts and charged me almost $3000.00 for a car that still wasn't running.

    ABRA Auto and Body
The dog was ok. :) And ABRA did a great job. They were not the cheapest, but they seemed very trustworthy, and indeed they did a good job. They missed one tiny detail but noticed it before I did, and came to my home to get it right!

    Tualatin Auto Body Inc
Excellent. This is the second time I have used them with the same excellent results. They weren't the least expensive but if I have to use them again I won't even get another estimate. They are that good. They matched a red color on a 6 year old car PERFECTLY.

    FINAL TOUCH PAINTLESS DENT REMOVAL
Jason texted me and set up an appointment this AM. Very prompt service. Jason was able to fix dent in one car, but was unable to fix a longer crease/dent in my pickup.  Very honest appraisal of my options.  His work is top-notch.

They charged me $150 for allowing the other driver's insurance adjuster to have access to the vehicle after their insured had totaled it.  They told me that this was standard in the industry but the other insurance company would not reimburse me that amount nor did my insurance agent feel that this was a standard.  Since it was just a small amout, I decided not to fight it but it obviously left a bad taste in my mouth.  I had previously had good experiences with Tualatin Auto Body.  I'm not sure if I will use them in the future.

    Kadel's Auto Body
It was a very pleasant experience. their estimate was not the least expensive, nor the most. But they performed as expected. Called before the service to determine if their estimate was competitive, they stayed within budget, and had my car ready when promised. My estimator, Doc Hoots, was professional, and made sure I knew exactly the service they would perform.
My overall satisfaction is very high; I have recommende their service to my spouse for her car.

    LINE-X OF TUALATIN
In short: They screwed up multiple times with multiple things, wasted 3 days of my time for a 2-3 hour job, scratched the paint on my bumper ($400). I would never go to this shop, nor would I recommend it. I gave them opportunity after opportunity to fix their mistakes and produce a favorable outcome, but in the end, it didn't work out. Details are below. After shopping for a while for Line-X shops, these guys had the best price around town. I talked to Wade (owner of both locations) on the phone and he was a straight shooter. I stopped by the shop and had Mike, an employee, go over the Line-X process. I set up an appointment for a Saturday and dropped my truck off. Here's where the trouble began. Mike calls me at 1:40pm to let me know my truck is ready to be picked up - well they close at 2pm and being that I was unable to get down there before they closed, I opted to pay over the phone. Upon inspection of their service, I noticed the Line-X looked thin in places, small bubbles in multiple places, tailgate handle was hard to open, and the bed bolts had been sprayed over (Mike said they remove those and spray them seperately). Further inspection showed that the Line-X was not properly applied and I could peal it off in chunks. My tailgate has a removable panel to access the internals and they didn't mask off these internals - leading to a (still) stiff tailgate handle. I called Wade the following week and he had me bring it down - saying the sprayer must have been messed up, water got in behind the Line-X and wouldn't allow for good adheasion. He would take care of the bubbling and thin spots, cut out the bed bolts and shoot them seperately, clean out the tailgate and mask it off. I thought, "great, no problem - this guy is a standup guy and must have been a fluke job." I made another appointment during the week to drop my truck off. Wade calls and says my truck is ready to go - perfect. I get down there and looks good. Further inspection shows that the bed bolts have been left in (more Line-X sprayed over them), the Line-X on the tailgate still can be pealed off by hand and has bubbles. I leave my truck there overnight and call Wade the following morning. He says they must have just forgot about the tailgate, apologizes, and says they will get it fixed up right away. Mike calls me that afternoon and says the truck is ready to be picked up. Hesitant to go down there and waste more of my time, I go over all the possible areas they could screw up. He tells me, "We always try to remove the bed bolts prior to spraying, but we broke 2 bits trying to remove yours." This is interesting since I had the bed completely off the truck a couple months prior when doing some rear suspension work. It wasn't going to get fixed now. Investigating when I brought the truck home, I realized nothing was masked off inside the tailgate - leaving a bunch of Line-X rubber to be removed. And I now noticed a few scratches through the paint on the front/bottom of my front valence (bumper) - I know every inch of this truck and these were fresh marks. Note: this truck is lowered and it can clear the standard curbs with about an inch. I know this and still stay a fair distance from them. I drove back to the shop and low and behold they have higher curbs (atleast 2"-3" higher). Pulling my truck close to them revealed that my truck would in no way clear the curb. Wade said he would investigate the matter, ultimately giving me the run around after saying he would have his paint guy in Newberg take care of it. Wade wanted pictures - I didn't hear back after sending 2 emails. The run around continued when confronted by way of "I got your email, but no attachment" or "I was busy and didn't have time to get back to you - but I'll see what my painter says." Mike was no help when I went to the shop. Giving this some thought, I realized I probably don't want these guys trying to take a bumper off, nor do I want them to handle anything I own again. My conclusion of their incompetence stemmed from all the above review as well a "Truck Specialities" shop that can't install bumpstops and doesn't know what a pinion angle is! Was I expecting perfection? No. Was I expecting everything we agreed upon? Yes. In the end did I get it for a reasonable price? Yes. Was I expecting to have to repaint a bumper? No. How much will that cost? More than the $375 Line-X was to begin with!

    Kadel's Auto Body
I had used them once before and I specifically visited them again because they had done a tremendous job of matching the paint. They were willing to take some things off and to do some repairs. My car is not brand new but it looks brand new. They are very helpful. They offered to clean the car when I went to pick it up as I was out of town and the car was with them for a week.

    JIM STEVENS AUTO BODY
This was the third time I've brought a car to Jim Stevens in 10 years. Each time they made me feel comfortable and taken care of. They took care of getting me a rental car(arranged for me to be picked up and dropped off). They also did the work faster than expected(2 days). The quality of the work has always made the car look like new. As for the previous reviewers comment about their office, I personally find it comfortable, clean and charmingly retro(I think there's even wood paneling). These are auto body repair experts and that's where they should and do focus their energy. Even though their shop is in the center of the Pearl District, they've remained true to who they are and there isn't an ounce of pretension in the place. Ed is deadpan and funny, and dealt with the other driver's insurance company for me and made sure they didn't string me along. I HOPE I don't need to bring my car back, but if I ever need body work in the future, they are the only shop I will consider.

    Kadel's Auto Body
My call was answered courteously, and a time was set up for the original estimate. We had to get special permission from USAA to use a provider other than those with whom they had previous good experience. Kadel matched the estimate (*reasonably close) of the other auto body shop, and our insurance company approved them to do the job. (We went with Kadels because of Angie's List.) The estimator for the other shop had more years of experience, and was more professional in knowledge, and demeanor, but Kadel's was okay. There was a little more work that needed to be done after the work was started, but it was covered with no problem. Kadel's were accommodating about scheduling, and the work was well done. I waited for several months to see if the paint would go through multiple washings, and sun, and weather. It was extremely well matched, and has held up beautifully. We were not disappointed with going with them to do both the body work and the paint.
