Excellent. Patrick is responsive, available, knowledgeable and, overall a wonderful person. From original order to installation, great to work with. In fact, one of the Silhouette's was "off" in color from the rest. He contacted the manufacturer and, in less that one week, completely redone.

    JC Penney Custom Draperies
The decorator, Sandra Hilton came to our home in November, 2014.  We had seen the Hunter Douglas Luminette Product and wanted them installed in our living and dining rooms.  First--we had to hear about all of her family problems, her problems of being overworked and that she had to also go to Medford to cover that store's department as Penneys didn't have a person there.   Weaving in and out of her personal life, we tried to find out about the installation.  When she did decide to measure our windows for the product she said we should do an "inside mount".   Not knowing there was an option and because that is not our profession we said ok.   The product was delivered and installed in the first part of 2015.   Sandra had not measured correctly the bay windows in the dining room and the installer "Rich" said they needed to be re-ordered.  We knew at the time that the shades were not hanging correctly in the living room, as there was a gap on each of the two window panes that allowed light to get in and also resulted in a lack of privacy from the outside.   When Rich returned to install the shades in the dining room, we showed him how the living room shades were not right.   He worked to fix them and then said "I have done the best to make these right--but they are not right and should have been measured for an outside mount".   That was the first we knew of the option.  So, we began the process of contacting JC Penney and Sandra again.  She returned and noticed the shades were not correct.  She said she would check to see what they could do.  We tried to reach her several times and she didn't return messages.  We called Hunter Douglas, told them of our problem and they then contacted Sandra--who now returned our call.  We told her that we wanted them to be right.  When asked if there would be an extra charge for changing "inside" to "outside" mounts, she said "no if we stayed with the same product."  She then came to our home (we thought to measure the window again) and told us that the Penneys warranty would only refund our deposit (which was 1/2 of the $4084.) She gave us the choice of refund of 1/2 and they would charge us for the new product.  She then tried to explain why she recommended inside mount.  We told her that we didn't need to have her explain any further because she had recommended it and it was not correct (not knowing that we had an option).  We said that it was not acceptable, because she had made the wrong order originally (inside vs. outside mount).  She had talked with her regional manager for verification and said that was their policy--and would not deviate from it.  Bob Friese the regional manager for custom draperies called that afternoon saying that we had given an "ultimatum" and that they would stand by their policy.  He also said that he had called Rich, the installer and that Rich had told him that when he left he told us the shades were perfect and did not need to be replaced.   So now we are dealing with two options:  either Rich did not report to the district manager what he said or the district manager was misconstruing what he said to benefit the JC Penney policy.  Hunter Douglas will not interfere so we have two choices now: 1.  Live with an unacceptable product, or 2. Receive 1/2 of our money back and choose another company to have the appropriate product and pay for them again.  Not good options.

Great job of repairing two blinds in  my home.  Professional, courteous, thorough, and fairly priced.  Jeff gave me information about how to best care for the blinds so that the repairs he made will last.

    The Drapery Doctor
Jeff did excellent work fixing my Hunter Douglas pirouette and silhouette shades.
He identified and fixed the level problem on the shades. The pirouette was difficult as the
window casing is bowed making leveling difficult.
He fixed the draw cord connectors and gave me recommendations on how to maintain the shades.
His stuck with the quoted service charge even though the work was more than anticipated to fix the shades.
    Excellent service!

    The Drapery Doctor
The cords on two of my mini-blinds were broken and I could not use them. The owner of the business came to my house right on time and within an hour had successfully completed the job. He was very pleasant and honest about his evaluation of the choices I could make. All in all he really did a great job. I am completely satisfied.

Enjoyed the help from the Samantha at Cherry City Interior and Design. I am not good at picking colors for the blinds, and I went with the one she recommended. Looks great, looking forward to buying more blinds and flooring from them soon. Keep up the great customer service attitude.

    Lights Out! Sealed Window Covers
Months ago, I did an online search for a solution to how to block light since I sleep in the daytime. I have worked the night shift for many years and have always used layers of black sheets, thumbtacks and aluminum foil to block light coming through the windows. The problem with this way was that it was permanent. My husband always wished he could have natural light on our days off so I sought out how to make this happen. I found Lights Out! online and researched their company. Even though their product looked promising, I was not able to find many reviews at all, so was hesitant to try them. The only reviews I could fine required me to sign up with Craig's List which I won't do. The only other reviews I could find were directly on the Lights Out! website, which, (being the skeptic I am) could very well be written by the website designer. But I really liked the concept of their product. I called and e-mailed them and asked for details about their covers. I ended up talking to Clary on the phone for over half an hour. She was very pleasant and accommodating. She was very specific and able to answer all of my questions. She even explained why it was so hard to find reviews of their company. I told her that I had two windows to cover, one of them being very large and would need to be a custom size. A day later she emailed a price quote. I told her that I would not actually need them until a few months later (due to some construction going on at my house) and she said "Just let us know when you want them". I gave her a due date a month away. Closer to that date I got an email saying they were working on my covers and then three days later that were at my house! I read the very well written instructions for use. I applied the velcro to the trim on my windows, and then put the covers on. I am very glad to say that the covers look great! They are white so they blend in with the rest of my walls. Before, with the black sheets, I had these huge black monsters looming on the walls and my four cats always were clawing them to stretch their bodies. There white covers blend in so well that my cats don't even see them. The bets part about these covers is that I can take them down on my nights off. I have normal blinds set inside the window frame and cafe curtains there too so when the covers come down I have normal windows! It is so easy for them to go up and even easier for them to come down! I am very impressed and happy with the results!

    Timbergreen LLC
From original bid to putting in the last screw/bolt in the playset, CJ was very easy to get along with. He is very professional, and yet so personable, very kind. He was very eager to please and was very prompt when he said he would be there. I kept adding on to the "to-do" list and he accepted each request and was willing to help me with everything I needed done. The list started small and ended very, very long. CJ and his company, Timbergreen, LLC, will be my first and probably only choice to go to for general contractor work. I would highly recommend him! Very nice, down to earth, courteous and very, very reasonably priced!

    Thank you CJ

Budget Blinds of Linn & Benton Counties
After updating our kitchen area this Fall, we were looking to replace some old window blinds. We found it very frustrating as a couple of the blind businesses we contacted involved having to call a designer to come to our house, a separate person to measure and then for that person to return for the installation both costing separate fees this in addition to the cost for the blinds. It was only by word of mouth someone mentioned Budget Blinds. We found that the closest area store was in Corvallis, our area zip code being serviced by their branch. In early November we contacted the Corvallis Budget Blind branch which immediately scheduled an appointment for a couple days later. As mentioned Bre helped us with our selection and measured. A little less than a month later returned to install the binds. The total cost included everything. We think it would have cost more and would have taken much more time if we had gone with one of the other companies. Budget Blinds seemed very efficient, responsive, and competent. The blinds were completed in the promised time frame. Both representatives arrived on time or called if they were delayed. We were very happy with the quality of the blinds. For the larger kitchen window, the material was bamboo in three sections which not only looks beautiful but appears well made. The patio window has a vertical blind which is easy to care for; we were given several extra slats in case needed for later. It too seems well made and fits well in the kichen. The living room window treatment is a combination of wood and vinyl in 3 sections, sturdy and well put together;it really improves the appearance of the room. The home was built in 1972.
