    Payless Shuttle
I was mistaken about the cost of their services, thinking I had ordered a round trip. they quoted me $50 and I was under the impression it was $25 each way. They got my name wrong and were looking for a gentleman instead of myself. The driver was very quiet and would not converse with me. The cars are absolutely filthy.  I will not be using this company due to their rude service. They only take cash and I didn't have enough so I had to borrow some from my mother's. He was a relatively safe driver but their customer service was very rude.

I paid a $5000 premium for my rig - they are hard to find and I thought buying from a dealer would be better.  There were other Roadtreks on the private market for around $13000 but they sold so fast I never even got to see one.  I was searching all over Oregon.
Summary: This guy is a crook and a master of camouflaging damage.  On my Roadtrek I had two main issues.
First, they sprayed the undercarriage of the motor home with an black anti corrosion coating.  I specifically asked him about it because it there was some over spray on some of the equipment ID tags.  Ends up the vehicle has significant corrosions that was covered up by the new coating.  So, I am continuing to find problems that were hidden by this.  I was unable to get my spare tire off due to the rust.  I am unable to fix the leaf springs due to the rust.  The brackets to my water tank broke when I was going down the freeway and I have only been able to partially fix this.  I cannot have a complete alignment done due to the rust so my tires wear out even with rotations every 3k miles and making sure the air pressure is correct.  The waste water dumping system is difficult to work due to the rust and the over coat spray.  This is an ongoing and costly cover up.
Second: I knew I would be dry camping (without hook ups) and needed my refrigerator to work on Propane.  He told me he would run it on propane to make sure it worked.  When I picked up my RV and went through the inspection the refrigerator was indeed cold.  He even showed me that when you switched it to propane that indicator gauge showed it was working.  However, by the next day, after I had loaded food into the refrigerator it was like an oven.  Then I recalled as I pulled out of the lot that they had to stop me to unplug the electrical.  My refrigerator had been running on electrical and not gas.  I had to replace the refrigerator to the tune of over $1500.  There were two mice nests, one on the burner and one on the flume.
Third: I wanted an inspection of the vehicle.  I was moving to the area and asked for a referral.  I had the vehicle inspected and at the mechanics recommendation replaced the brakes.  He said nothing of the rusted undercarriage or the coating.  The brakes had to be redone a month later by another shop.
Forth: As I was dealing with my refrigerator issue I met a  newly retired couple who had just bought a travel trailer from Davis Motors at a local Camping World.  They fared worse than I.  Their travel trailer had not been winterized and was a total loss as all the plumbing (water heater, sink, toilets, showers, water pump etc) all had broken pipes.  Davis motors had done an inspection with this couple as well.  They turned the water on and off very quickly to demonstrate that it worked.  However, that night, when they hooked it to a water hose hook up water came out everywhere.

    Bridges Rv Storage
In 2002 I purchased a new Class A recreational vehicle and after much searching for a clean, well managed rental unit, I found Bridges RV storage here in Salem, OR.  I began renting a large, newly constructed unit on 09/21/2002  and paid the rental by the year (annually).    I removed the RV permanently from the unit about 06/02/2014 as I had it listed for sale.  On 06/03/2014 I sent an email to the company notifying them of my rental cancellation effective that date.  I received no response.  On 06/16/2014 I again notified the company by US postal letter of the cancellation of the rental.  I received no response.  On 07/17/2014 I called the business telephone number and in response, reached the answering machine.  I recognized the voice of Bud Bridges whom I have dealt with by phone and in person over these past 12 years.  Mr. Bridges is, I was told,  one of the family owners of the company and has long been the active manager of the storage complex.  I received no response to this 3rd attempt.
It appears I may have to pursue legal action against the Bridges RV Storage company in order to retrieve money they have owed my for over 7 weeks.  I was always prompt with my annual payments and I am very disappointed at the apparent lack of integrity shown by the owner(s) of the company

    A Travel Network
The trip went poorly for the following reasons:

the quality of the hotels was very inconsistent

there was confusion regarding departure times for trains and planes.  The agent wrote one time on the tickets and another time on the itinerary.

the agent sent us to the wrong city.  The agent confused two cities with similar names.  As a result, we got off the train at what amounts to a whistle stop.  We had to pay $120.00 for a round trip taxi fare to the nearest hotel from the train station.  The excursion was a total waste!!

the agent listed the wrong train stop for the center of Prague.  Had my instincts not told me that the agent had listed the wrong stop, we would have been left in a dangerous suburban area of Prague

Since booking our trip with Travel Network, I have been told by professionals in the field that Ms. Messer has very limited European travel experience.  This lack of experience is obviious and explains why she wanted us to take a tour rather than booking a self-directed itinerary for us.

I didn't like anything about them. They are very dishonest, have full disclosure contract, dishonest about the prior damage to the car, took 5 weeks to get the motor home from them because they keep giving us the "brush off", and there are numerous problems with the estate because they did not take good care of it before we got it. They suck.

I've used them periodically for years. I've used them for both business and personal. Their rates are reasonable. They are professional, courteous and clean. They are fine. It works fine. I've never used anybody else.

I dropped off my vehicle to have a new zipper put on the
soft top and on the new replacement window to the soft top. Talked to Buck and
he said that he would be the one doing the work so I clarified with him what
was going to be done. I showed him the new replacement window and the zipper on
the soft top that needed replaced. When I picked up my vehicle all looked fine.
I spoke with Buck and he said that the project was a bit harder to get done
then he thought it would be and handed me my keys and I paid him in full with cash.
When I got home I looked at what I
thought was the old window that he had removed to put in the new window. It was
the new window that he was to have put the zipper on. The canvas part of the window
was slashed from what looked to be the attempt to remove the zipper that was on
the window so the new zipper could be put on it. On further inspection I found
that the soft top that the new zipper was put on also had been slashed but it
    had been repaired.

    AAA Oregon/Idaho
We decided to take the grandchildren to Disneyland. We spent hours wading through the various "discount" travel sites on the internet. It was all so confusing I decided to check with AAA in Salem. Kirsten helped me with everything and I was shocked at the fantastic final price. She had been to Disneyland recently and was able to give us many suggestions. If you think you're saving money by using the internet, you're kidding yourself.

Blue Lake Auto & RV Repair
I live in an RV park that's a quarter mile away from it . They do a lot of business in the park and people are really happy with them. They have good prices and a lot of times when somebody comes to fix something they charge a lot of money to do it but these guys don't. Their checks are very smart and they go the extra mile. They replaced the lights on the front of the RV just because they were weathered. Their work is top notch.

I called ahead the night before for a cab at 7:15 the next morning. The driver arrived right on time and got me to my destination in a straightforward manner (no loopy routes). I called again after my event and got picked up within 10 minutes of my call. Again, I was taken home by the most direct route possible. Both times/trips, the drivers were clean, friendly and non-threatening. I have tried other local cabs and they do not compare.
