Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Salem

    Action Drain And Rooter Service
This company is outstanding! A few days before the 2016/2017 New Years weekend my main Sewer line into my Septic tank broke at the tank. I called them late Thursday afternoon and one of the owners got back to me in a few hours. Thanks Jess! The next day Blair came by to assess what equipment they would need and that they would be out Monday morning. The New Years came and went and the crew showed up at 8:30 am on a very cold and snowy morning. The two man crew was very polite and efficient and cleaned up when they were done which was before noon. Thanks everyone at Action Drain and Rooter Service in Salem, Oregon!

Arrived early, professional, without being stiff.  It's a dirty job, nobody really wants to deal with getting it done, but Todd was easy going, did the job quickly, and was very helpful regarding my system overall.  I also have a grease trap, which Todd said he rarely sees anymore probably because of the extra cost to install and route, but definitely improves the system process.  Also pumped out the grease trap at no extra charge.

    A & B Septic Service
We had an overflowing septic tank that we had just had pumped  by
another service 4 months ago.  Decided to give A and B a call because
they cover all service areas, drain cleaning, septic pumping, and work
on septic lines, distribution boxes and drain fields.  We weren't sure of the problem and were afraid that a fix was going to be pricey.  Called on a Thursday pm, we were placed on the schedule for Monday because we only had overfow into our yard, not backup into our house.  We were notified ahead of time that they would be heading out within the hour.  Took the access lid off the septic tank,  found the distribution box (we were not sure if there was one, this house was built in 1951), dug it up and opened it, and found that there was no flow at the D box.  They ran a motorized snake backward into the septic tank from the D box and cleared the blockage.  Voila!  Blockage cleared and problem solved!  They were prompt, courteous,  knowledgeable and fast.  Liked them so much that I arranged for them to come out and install a concrete riser on our septic tank lid to improve ease of access in the future.  Again, I received a scheduling call from the office the next day and a reminder call just before his arrival, the riser was placed and he fixed some cracks in the concrete distribution box at the same time to prevent root entry in the future.  He replaced all the dirt and left the area neat and clean.  I will never need to call anyone else.

Ace Septic Service and Chemical Toilets
    Not very good
Well, it?s both favorable and unfavorable the service we
The receptionist that books appointments was nice and
professional. We were scheduled promptly for that same week, and even got
a reminder call about the appointment.
The Septic tech showed up on time, talked to my husband.
Then told us we had the ?dug?  wrong ?opening? for septic clean out, and it need to be the other opening that was 2
    feet x 2 feet.
So the technician and my husband dug thru some hard ground to find the opening so we could get the septic tank pumped.
Well, during the process the lid to the septic tank was
broken into 3 pieces. It was very difficult to remove.  The service tech said that maybe he could
find a replacement since he broke it.
After the pumping of the septic tack the technician told us that he would locate a cover so we could re bury the tank. He said he would call back with an update about a lid for the Septic tank in a few days.
So, we waited about 5 days, then called the company and was promised a follow up call. It, never happened.
Well, after another week with a septic tank open and a large hole in the ground. My husband called again to see if they had the lid
replacement. Was promised a follow up call it never happened.
So, we were left with a three foot hole in ground and the septic tank top wide open.  You could
smell the septic tank and, it was a very dangerous opening.
I was afraid that someone would get hurt, or my dog could fall into the hole and die. Living on a small farm there are animals around old dog, cat, and the opening was right on the pasture fence line.
So, the bottom line is, don?t expect any follow if the lid to your septic tank brakes. You on your own, and it?s just too bad.
They could have helped use with a referral to another company that makes septic tanks
or something at least they could have tried too do something.
But No... You?re screwed fix it yourself...
Will never recommend this company to anyone, and if your
reading. I am sure you wouldn?t want to go thru what we did?

Ace Septic Service and Chemical Toilets
He determined there is a snag on the pipe, possibly cracked pipe a few feet from the septic tank.  He showed me how the snake would catch on something in a certain spot.
He was the 7th septic service person I have had in the last 4 years and the first one to determine the problem so it can be fixed permanently.  I felt he was honest and forthcoming.

We called Todd yesterday and he set an appointment for 10 AM this morning. At 9:05 AM we heard his truck and went out to greet him. We showed him where the septic tank was and he quickly uncovered the cleanout port (5 minutes). He opened the tank and set up to pump it to his truck. After pumping the tank he closed up the tank and replaced the sod that had been dug up. All told he was at our home less than an hour. Todd was friendly, courteous, and very professional. I highly recommend Carl's Septic Tank Cleaning service.

One of us smelled unpleasant odors coming from one of our toilets. It had been some years since we pumped the sceptic tank.
This wasn't an emergency. I'd have been doubly relieved at his fast response if it had been.
It was easy to get on his schedule and he was quite open to fitting into ours. He was prompt -- that's a real plus in my book.
He's so fast with his work I hated to pay $390 for 30 minute's work. But what the heck -- he was prompt, knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient . . . and that fast with a service I needed to have done. I don't think it gets any better than that so the cost is not really a gripe.
I'd use him again without looking for other service providers. What better recommendation is there than that?

They are good. He came promptly and he was nice. He found the septic tank which everybody said they knew where it was, but nobody did really. He came and got it done in winter. I went and stood there when he emptied the whole thing out. He came when I needed it. Everything was good and everything was fine. He gave me a few pointers. Usually people scare you about those septic systems. But he was calm amidst the storm because everybody was going crazy about septic systems.

    A & B Septic Service
The A and B responded very quickly. As I recall they were here the next day after I called. I explained that I had turned off the septic pump alarm in the house as it was trying to go all the time. He opened up the septic pump well and found that the wiring harness had become water soaked and was causing a short in the signaling line for the alarm system. The wires were re-dressed and put in new moisture protective sealant tubes and I should not have any more problems.

Ace Septic Service and Chemical Toilets
We were very impressed with him. We moved in here about 7 years ago and it was about time to get our septic tank emptied and our neighbor around the corner used them, so we called him. He came out and discovered that the people who sold us the house used a different company to clean the septic tank. It turned out that there was no way that could have cleaned the septic and we went through the whole thing that they charged the owners when they did not clean it. It had cement on top of it and there was no way it could have been cleaned 7 years ago, so we thought that he was a very honest man. I appreciated him coming out and telling me. After he got all the cement broken off and got the lid off he came in and cleaned it, so I appreciated his honesty. We spent $245 on that work.
