    OmniGuard Security
    I called Omniguard Security in mid December. I spoke with Eric who was able to come out the next day. He did a wonderful job of explaining the system and how it works. He answered every question I had and offered to get me more information on remote operation of lights, which he did. He was so wonderful to deal with and always got back to me in a timely manner. I filled out the paperwork to get my alarm system while Eric was here. He was able to arrange installation the next week.

    Now for the install of my system. Dan came out and was absolutely great! He got the system put in very quickly and did a great job. He spent time showimg me how to get it set up and operate it remotely from my smart phone. I liked the remote deadbolt so much I had them come back and install a second one. Dan was an absolute pleasure to deal with also. I had minor issue with a piece of equipment and Dan got out right away and replaced it.

    I really cannot say enough good about these two employees. I had a a system with another company and was treated so poorly after being a long time customer. I would tell anyone to be wary of a buying an alarm system from one of the large companies. They pull you in with a cheaper monthly rate and then provide poor service. My monthly monitoring fee is a little higher but it is so worth it. This company does an outstanding job.

    They sent a technician out who was able to fix it very quickly as there was just a short in the system and also installed a window censor for no charge! They were professional, friendly, courteous and did a great job.

    Initially I had a great experience with this company when calling for more information to understand their packages, pricing, and what items I would need to accomodate my home setup. The rep I spoke with was extremely helpful and patient in answering all my questions in detail. I chose to work with this business because of their high Angie's List reviews.
    Once I did place my order with the rep I did not get a call back to confirm (final specs were sent via email). I followed up and rep was out. I followed up after he would have been back from vacation and it still took time for response but was told my items shipped. I actually only ended up receiving part of my order. I had to followup a couple more times to get the rest of my order. I did not work with that rep anymore. I woul have rated them a "C" for responsiveness and punctuaility based on this part of the experience, however once I contacted someone else in customer service regarding my issues they were immediate in working with me to resolve. They placed the other part of my order. Also, they usually do not charge for the partial month of service and give you a 30-day trial in case you decide you do not want some of the items. My biggest complaint was that because my full order was not received until after this time period I lost this advantage. The customer service team I worked with (instead of my initial rep) resolved this issue as well and extended my activitation period to reflect the date I received the final items. Installation was fairly easy and they have great online instruction videos to help you undesrtand the system better. When I had any questions I called them and they were quick to help me out. I appreciate the other customer service members stepping in and resolving everything to make this overall an excellent experience! I would highly recommend this company and would do business with them again!!

    We ordered the system over the phone. The representative was knowledgeable, courteous and not high pressure or pushy.
    The equipment was over-nighted and arrived as promised with all components included.
    The installation was not at all difficult and once it was completed we
    followed the direction to call the company to verify that it was done
    properly and to get further instruction on the use of the equipment. 
    Again the rep was professional and knew the product.
    Once installed, we were given the option to activate immediately or take as
    much time as we needed to get comfortable with the equipment. The
    promised activation occurred on time.  A followup clarification call was
    also handled well.
    We  pay a monthly fee for monitoring services.
    What we really liked about this product was that we didn't have to pay big
    bucks to have it installed and we can control as well as monitor the
    house activity on our smart phone.

    I like the fact that they have numerous types of security options, I am impressed with  quality of the equipment and the system is user friendly. They have numerous functions that I take full advantage.

    They are really good. They sent a guy out and installed all of it. They came out and fixed a faulty camera. I am now able to view the camera from my tv and computer where ever I am. They are fairly priced for what I had done. Everything is wireless and the alarms go straight to the police or fire department. I am able to change my thermostat from any location.

    They were supposed to put in a switch so that I could use my keyfab on. They never installed this and I have been waiting for two years. I finally had to cancel with them. I would stay away from them.

    We don't use this system, or never turn it on. They never told us that we had to pay 49 dollars for 5 years. We tried to contact them to return the system but they wouldn't return our calls or let us through to the manager or supervisor. They said that the supervisors and managers would not talk to the customers.

    These people are not professional. They did not send a representative to review our needs or the status of the existing system. They sent a technician who did not keep appointments on time and was unable to train us to use the system. When we fired them they continued to bill us. On the advice of our lawyer we paid the bill just to get rid of them. When checking on them, they have changed their name from Global Security to Global Technology Solutions which is a world wide website and computer tech company name. There is something very fishy about this company. Their invoice says they have offices in Tacoma, WA., Lenexa, Kansas and Eugene, OR. They have no website or email address listed and have changed phone numbers.
