    TIM'S CARPET & INTERIORS
If I could do NO STARS I would. Over-promised and under-delivered. Lied to make the sale ("oh yes. We've done this in homes before"). NEVER EVER BE THE EXPERIMENT. Five months for a master bath gut and redo. Turns out they had put the flooring in GROUP HOMES with perfectly square rooms. I had told them in advance that the reason for this flooring was that I am a fall risk. They obviously did not care at all. The contractor was done with EVERYTHING in 6 weeks. The rest of the time was waiting [3.5 months] for the floor to be installed with Tim's failing to install it correctly so that water ran out of the shower and headed toward the bedroom (easily 10'-15' away). They sent an installer who did not know what he was doing, constantly asked for input and then dismissed it, and ultimately because NO ONE was overseeing the installer, Tim's had to rip out the floor in the shower and re-do the slope. I WILL NEVER WORK WITH THEM AGAIN. A total cluster all the way around. I paid them because I said I would. They did not deserve it. At all.

    Westland Home Construction
I want to provide feedback for my recent interaction with Westland Construction. I unfortunately had a long-term water leak that resulted in damage to my home and Westland Construction was recommended by a co-worker. I called and left a message for Antonio. He returned my call quickly and we scheduled a time that would work for both of us to get a quote. The quote was more than fair for the amount of work that would be required. Antonio provided me options for the repair and clearly answered all the questions I had and pointed out several things I didn't even think of asking. Once we scheduled time for the repair, Antonio and his team arrived on time. I was shocked how quickly they attacked the problem and removed the damaged areas. Unfortunately, the damages were greater than expected but even with the additional work, I felt the additional cost was less than expected and fair. Antonio kept me in the loop on the additional damages and potential costs. I was impressed with the level of professionalism and talent his team brought to this project. Antonio, Miguel and Alfredo all had unique talents and work together incredibly well. The team provided suggestions that were much better than my initial vision. For example, he suggested an accent to the shower tile that really made it stand out. My only advice to anyone considering Westland Construction is to listen to their suggestions. They know what they are doing. Although no one enjoys an unexpected expense, I feel I was fortunate enough to work with Antonio, Miguel and Alfredo. If/ when I have a need for a contractor, I will definitely use Westland Construction again and I encourage you to do the same.

From estimate to finish the project went very well. Pricing was less than Costco flooring (similar quality). Nate's estimate was done quickly and on the mark. The process of making our selections were the most time consuming and Annie was very helpful in helping us narrow down on what we wanted. We cleared away furniture to make it easier for the contractor. The project took a couple more days to complete due to the removal of stubborn tile in the entryway. The contractor's crew was very courteous and professional. They did a great job of installing both carpet in the bedrooms and LVP in the rest of the house. Highly recommend them.

I never heard from the company after I submitted my inquiry so I am unable to rate any work but if this is what happens when trying to make first contact I would not hire and expect them to show on time.

Thank you for a wonderful job. Love the interior painting when the painter had a family emergency someone else stepped in and finished the job. The vinyl plank took a little longer to install because it didn't easily click into place but they worked late and weekends to get the job done. Thank you so much

Very well. Shane is a very hard worker as is his assistant. He did an excellent job in trying circumstances as other work was being done on the house at the same time. Also, I have three small dogs and so that was a bit difficult. I can't say enough good about Shane and his work ethic. Also, the actual finished product was excellent. I had to call him to come back about a couple of places in the floor that needed to be fixed. He responded right away and came and took care of it. I highly recommend Shane.

    On Point Wood Flooring
Hardwood floor refinishing. Initially, Tim was very responsive. He came to my house and gave an estimate that I thought was reasonable. But When it came time to do the work he sent to Two guys I had never met. When talking to Tim, I was under the impression that he did the work. They did the work but I wasnt happy with it. The finish was dull and puddled and there were gaps in between the planks that were not filled. I called Tim and after a few days he did return my call. he came out and said that they needed to put on another coat of finish on. He said he would send his best man, which left me wondering who he sent the first time. A different guy came out, he put another coat on the floor which looked a little better, But once it dried it was the same dull, scratchy Looking finish with puddles and gaps in between some planks. I Called Tim back again and he said he would come out on the following Wednesday to check it out. He never showed, never answered repeated phone calls and did not even reply to a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. My mistake was paying them before the floor was dry. Dont hire this guy hes a scammer does shoddy work.

    On Point Wood Flooring
I called several flooring companies in Salem, Oregon looking for someone to refinish my hardwood floors quickly as I was refinancing. After calling several highly rated companies. all were booked out 6 months or so. One highly rated company stated he couldn't do it, but that his son was also in the business and had been trained by and worked for him previously. He referred me to On Point Wood Flooring. I called Tim and he came out right away, gave me an estimate which I felt was reasonable, so I hired him and scheduled the job. I expected Tim would do the work but, with out any notice, he sent two guys I'd never met to do the work. They did do a good job protecting my house from the dust, but advised me that I would need to repaint my base boards as the sander left marks on them. After the floors were sanded, they applied the finish. Initially, while wet, it looked good. After it was dry I noticed there were brush marks, cracks and puddles. I called Tim, he came back out and said it the floor needed another coat and he would send his best guy. This left me wondering why he didn't send his "best guy" in the first place. So, another guy came and applied another coat of finish. After it dried, it still had puddles and cracks between boards that weren't filled properly. I called Tim again, he said he would be out the following Wednesday to inspect it. He didn't call, didn't show. I called him for weeks and left many messages but he never returned my calls. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but he did not respond to their efforts either. Still not happy with my floors and am going to have to hire someone else to fix his company's mistakes. I wish I could give zero stars!!

    Cherry City Interiors & Design
Patrick was extremely helpful during the entire process. He was adept at helping us with our choices of oak flooring, quartz and tile. Vladimir of Puzzle, llc was responsible for the flooring installation. He was very meticulous and made sure everything was done just right. The quality of work was exemplary. He communicated with us very well. When an issue came up Vladimir would explain the situation and provide us with several options to resolve the issue. He was adept at finding viable solutions to issues that arose during the remodel. Patrick and Vladimir were very professional and we would highly recommend them to others!

    On Point Wood Flooring
Tim and his crew were fantastic. For background, another company had refinished our floors about two months before. We were very unhappy with the work and the previous company stated they did not know what went wrong other than the floors (pine and age) were very difficult to do. We had Tim out for an opinion. He stated, yes the floors would be difficult, but they would be able to do the job with better results. They started the process and found that yes, these were very difficult floors to refinish. They experimented with different processes until they found the right solution and we are just so happy with the finished product. Tim kept us informed throughout the job and we were so surprised by how they cleaned up. There was far less dust than with the previous company and they had taken down all the plastic wrap that we had placed (apparently they would have wrapped everything had we not). We would not hesitate to use them again.
