    Robert P Heckel Construction
He kept me updated during this busy time and came through in a timely way with the bid we needed for a soil & water conservation grant. Construction will start this spring. I was very impressed with his professionalism.

    Robert P Heckel Construction
Bob is extremely honest, punctual, hard working, very reasonably priced and whenever something isn't 100% satisfactory he will fixed it immediately. He is a very experienced framer and highly knowledgeable in most areas of construction. He's a good guy to have working for you. I've used his services for over 15 years. He always does an excellent job! I will definitely recommend him and absolutely use him, again.

Bob was always on time and ready to start. We started out with just a few things we wanted him to do but that quickly grew after we saw his work. I found myself wondering around our house looking for things for him to fix or build. The 1st project was to remove our concrete patio and install a new one. He tore it up, haul away all the old stuff. Leveled the ground and poured new concrete, stamped and colored it. Everything was done in just a few days. He cleaned up the job site every day before he left. Since then we've had him Install a new frame and front door, Take our 2 back doors and convert them into Dutch Doors aka doggy doors for large dogs Installed new pavers for our side yard Cut down a tree Dig out and prepare yard for turf Installation of new turf Installed 2 roof skylights Repair water damage ceiling Installed a new security door Installed a rain chain We couldn't be happier with all of the work he's done

    LIBERTY CONCRETE
Monday morning he showed up and started working without notifying me that he was at the property. I heard power equipment in my driveway and saw Jody cutting out the driveway. When the cutting stopped, I went out to look at the work. Jody said he forgot to put rebar on the truck and asked me if I had any because the curb needed it. I didnt have any so he did not use rebar in my driveway as was planned and necessary for the job. Jody also said that the place he gets gravel from was closed that morning so he was not going to use any gravel. I noticed that Jody and his crew did not remove all of the driveway that and when I told the them, Jody said he forgot to cut it out but he was done cutting so he was not going to do it. As we asked him to do that job as planned, he said that once hes done cutting and ready to pour he does not go back to demolition. I demanded that he complete the work we agreed on and he agreed that this was part of the contracted work but said that thats the way it goes. The cement truck was more than 90 minutes out at this point so he had plenty of time to complete the 10-20 minutes of work to remove the broken piece of walkway. Jody and Liberty Concrete defiantly does not care about the quality of their work and Jody cuts corners on work quality and tries to increase the quote. Jody knew they didn't have rebar and gravel at 9:00 am. The cement truck was not due to arrive until 1:30 PM. They sat around for hours waiting of the cement truck and didnt complete all the work they were hired to do. One of his employees came over to me and apologized for the quality of the work. They also did not finish the back of the curb and they put the broom finish sweep marks in the wrong direction on 3 of the 4 decorative strips. They also left all of their nails and wire from their cement forms on my front lawn. Now I have to go through the hassle of placing a complaint with the CCB and BBB and write reviews on social media. What a pain it is when you hire the wrong people. When I tried to talk with Jody about the issues, he became very angry and told me that I was messing with the wrong guy. Dont hire the wrong guy, dont hire Liberty Concrete LLC. Check the BBB and CCD on any contractor you hire. The picture is a patch job Jody did instead of replacing a 3' x 2' section of cracked walkway. Jody said this was good enough and that he didn't feel like doing the wrong right.

    Jackson Construction
Mr. Jackson took the time to assess my needs and was able to provide a bid estimate noting that the work would likely be expensive and probably not needed right now. I appreciate the time he took to listen, respond and be honest.

    Jackson Construction
Mr. Jackson identified that his company would not be most appropriate for our job however he made the effort to find a company that would be a better fit for our task and then called me back in an hour with that information. Excellent customer service!

    Mickelson's Masonry,LLC
The work was good; however, the owner (apparently does not have any other employees) was flakey about when he would show up, never gave day/time when he would return. My husband had to remind him when we only had 3 days before the inspection time was up to get approval for the approach and sidewalk. Most important was his lack of professionalism the night before the concrete was to be poured - he left the job site (our home) then called wanting to know if my husband had called the city inspector. I didn't know and my husband wasn't home. I told him I would have my husband call him asap. Before my husband arrived home, Mr. Mickelson called again saying he had made a mistake in his estimate and would need more concrete which would cost us $1000 more. My husband called him to discuss and was told 'PAY OR I PICK UP MY EQUIPMENT AND WALK'! Now you can imagine that we felt we were held hostage as what were the chances of getting another contractor to come in to complete the job. Mr Mickelson should have spoken with my husband face-to-face as an honorable man instead of using threatening tactics. Our mistakes: not checking the company on the CCB website (he was licensed only in March 2016) and not insisting on a SIGNED contract; we only had an estimate. We would never use this company again!

    Eric Foster Construction Corporation
Eric was very professional. He was prompt to give a quote last spring for work we just had completed. He showed up when he said he would and accommodated our schedule. The finished result was great and the bid was spot on. I would highly recommend his services. He also gave a $100 mangoes list discount.

    Green Valley Landscape Maintenance LLC.
Estimate right on target. Owner contacted us daily during work, before and after.  We of course changed some plans along the way and he did not overcharge for any changes.  We knew what each change would cost.  The owner brought in a team of workers they cleaned up every day. There were never tools left out or sidewalks left dirty.  They went the extra step when cleaning and pressured washed the patio furniture, which was needed but not requested.

The owner met us at a nursery, he had his recommendation for plants but he showed us options and helped us decide.  The employees work very hard, not a lot of talking, just working and amazing amount of work in a day. They took and hour lunch and most of them brought their own lunch and were right back to work after.

    Eric Foster Construction Corporation
We called three construction companies, Eric Foster Construction being one of them to place bids for our sidewalk that had sunken about 4 inches.  The other two companies offered bids for very complicated procedures that cost three times and four times as much as Eric's bid.  He cut to the chase and tore the sidewalk section out and poured a new section very simply and expertly.
