DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Recovered a large lounge chair with the material we selected with the guidance of the owner. Continues to look like new after almost two years of heavy use. Very professional service.

The service was impeccable. I felt well taken care of during the entire process of ordering custom made window coverings. The job was completed very quickly as well as perfectly. The shop is very clean and tidy with an open work area with plenty of examples of the high quality work that they perform. As soon as I hung the drapes, I decided that I will use Nip and Tuck in the very near future for m...

It was a great experience from beginning to end. Nancy let me take about 5 large fabric books home with me so I could really get the rather dicey color I had to have. The estimate she gave me was higher then the final price. My advice: Grab anything you love that needs a slipcover and get it to this place. While Nancy is a young woman she is also IT in Portland as far as I have been able to find o...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I had a slip cover made for a very large, rather grand wingback chair-very large and with curvy wings. I had just assumed that making an easily removable and washable (my two biggest concerns) slipcover would mean that it would have to be a rather loose-fitting, sort of shabby-chic cover. What it turned out to be is absolutely stunning slipcover. It fits so beautifully, complete with curvy wings,I was just amazed. I simply don't know how she did it. Slipcover making is a vanishing art and I just didn't have any idea that anyone was left who could do this. 40 years ago in Lexington, Kentucky, my home town, it wouldn't have been a problem, today, it just can't be done. It may sound pricy, but when you consider that it was a chair I loved, I had hundreds of fabrics to look at and now the dog can get on it with impunity, it is washable and I found the extremely difficult color I was looking for I think it was a huge bargain. A new chair like it would be at least $2,000+ and I would never have found the color I wanted, the dog can get on it, it's washable and on and on. I couldn't be happier. My whole living room has gotten a boost. The chair was white (a bad plan from the beginning but I was younger then) and had been used for 30+ years so you can imagine how really disgusting it was. So I can easily give unambiguous praise for the work these people did.
